Swaroopa Ghosh
will next be seen in upcoming show Aami Dakini. Ahead of Father's Day, she reflects on her bond with her father—not through nostalgia, but through values that continue to shape her every day.
'For me, every day is Father's Day,' says Swaroopa Ghosh. 'Because it's HIS values, his wisdom that I carry through.' The actor, known for her nuanced performances across films and television, speaks of her father not as a memory, but as a quiet force in how she lives her life.
'I don't do anything specifically on Father's Day,' she shares. 'I honor his legacy by living the life based on my learnings from him. It's part and parcel of my self.'
Swaroopa says her father taught through action. 'I follow everything I learnt from him by seeing him… his respect for every person, his kindness, his sense of right and wrong, his love for art, his ability to find beauty in everything, his uprightness… the list is endless.'
She still vividly remembers riding on the back of his bike as a child, exploring the cultural corners of the city. 'Going out on his bike to see theatre, art exhibitions, cinema, heritage buildings or just the city Calcutta,' she says, was more than just family time—it was an education in values.

When asked to sum up what her father left behind in her, she chooses to answer through a poem—one she didn't write, but deeply resonates with;
'Zameer zinda rakh,
Kabir zinda rakh,
Sultan bhi ban jaaye agar,
Dil mein fakir zinda rakh.
Magar mitne ke baad bhi insaaniyat zinda rakh.'
In the end, what stays with her most are his words: 'You, yourself is enough.' For Swaroopa Ghosh, Father's Day doesn't need celebration—because the lessons are already lived.

Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma's Mumbai home: Stunning sea-facing apartment with Dubai-like views and luxury- PICS

Bollywood's bhaijaan Salman Khan may be known for his grand lifestyle, but his sister Arpita Khan and her husband, actor Aayush Sharma, are not far behind when it comes to living in style. The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, reside in a breathtaking sea-facing apartment in Mumbai's posh Bandra area along with their kids son Ahil and their daughter Ayat. Their lavish home had become the talk of the town after filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan gave fans a tour on her YouTube channel earlier this year. The video gave a full tour of Arpita and Aayush's luxurious apartment, showing off its grand spaces, beautiful views and clever design. With high-end decor and a warm, family feel, the home truly reflects their lifestyle. Grand lobby sets the tone The couple's Bandra apartment welcomes you with a spacious entrance lobby that sets the tone for the rest of the house. Designed with elegance, the interiors are inspired by Scandinavian style, giving the space a clean, stylish look. During the tour, Farah Khan came across a special painting of Ayatul Kursi, which Aayush proudly said was made by Arpita's brother, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. This personal touch added warmth and meaning to the home's decor. Soft tones and city views create a calm space The living and dining areas are some of the biggest highlights of the house. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Eat 1 Teaspoon Every Night, See What Happens A Week Later [Video] getfittoday Undo With huge open spaces, comfortable seating in white and blue tones, and a calm vibe, these rooms are made for relaxing and entertaining. Balcony goals: Better than Dubai ? The balcony is another major feature. With amazing views of the city skyline and the sea, it's the perfect spot to unwind. Decorated with plants and stylish outdoor furniture, it's ideal for parties and family gatherings. Talking about the view, Aayush shared, 'Mumbai ka Dubai (Mumbai's Dubai),' giving a fun name to their high-rise haven. As Aayush showed Farah the balcony, she declared, 'This is better than Dubai!' Farah Khan's fun reactions Farah Khan, known for her humour, had plenty to say during the house tour. She joked, 'The elevator in Arpita and Aayush's apartment building was even bigger than her bathroom.' When she stepped into the massive living area, she couldn't hide her excitement. 'Is this a cricket field? Oh my God, this is gorgeous!' she exclaimed. In response, Aayush said, 'Arpita has a habit to making big houses, but using just three corners,' adding his own humour to the moment. Private corners come with funny complaints The bedrooms in the house are just as impressive, but it seems Aayush has had to share more than he planned. Showing the rooms, he said, 'Yeh Arpita aur Ahil ka kamra hai (This is Arpita and Ahil's bedroom) but they have encroached my private bedroom. This is my hidden room and this is my private area, where I relax. But now, Arpita has decided to use this couch, taking away my privacy.' Clever design with a moving wall One unique feature of their home is a moving wall in the common area. This wall can be opened during parties to make a bigger space or closed off to create separate rooms. Arpita explained, 'It is to keep the kids away from the parties.' Aayush added, 'You have come to a private place where my entry is restricted.' He then joked, 'Whenever Arpita is upset with me, she doesn't slam any door, but blocks the house with this moving wall.' Farah asked, 'She makes a partition?' and Aayush nodded in agreement. Farah then laughed and said, 'How many times do you make sure she is upset with you?' Throughout the tour, Farah kept joking about 'how poor' she felt while exploring the couple's luxurious home, adding fun and laughter to the grand tour. We are work buddies, doing riyaz together brought us closer: Parth & Sanjay Oza

We are more like buddies now,' says , who has continued the legacy of his father, garba singer Sanjay Oza. On Father's Day, they join us for a heartwarming, fun chat about how their bond has evolved, what Sanjay would want as a gift today and more. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Dad has never imposed anything on me: Parth It is said that sons are closer to their mothers, while daughters are dad's favourites. Parth laughs, 'I have been extremely close to dad too since childhood. He never said typical dad things like, 'Homework khatam karo, varna papa aa ke daatenge.' He has never imposed anything on me, be it education or taking up music as my career.' Sanjay adds, 'For me, it was important to expose my children to both the worlds (education and music) since childhood. Parth excelled in both, and I saw a spark in him during childhood when it comes to music. But I never imposed that on him. His natural inclination towards music and riyaz brought us closer and it has been a fun journey.' Are they best friends? Parth says, 'I am my most transparent with him. He knows about everything that is going on in my life. Now, as I am ageing too, I have started understanding him more.' Sanjay adds, 'Trusting and believing in each other, especially when you are working in the same field, is important. I trust him fully, and I hope it is a mutual feeling (laughs).' 'We love going on small trips together' As professional garba singers, they have hectic schedules round the year. Sanjay shares, 'This is a part of any artiste's life. While Parth was growing up, I was working and going on tours. I tried being home for birthdays or his exams. But today, with changing times, busier schedules, and overseas shows, we create some family moments whenever possible.' Parth adds, 'For us, celebrating birthdays and other occasions piles up. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Jab sab saath ho, jab time miley, we celebrate. Going on small trips or hikes, simply sitting at home and watching TV, and having a family dinner, makes up for lost time. A lot of credit goes to my mom for handling our crazy schedules.' 'To sustain as a 'nepo kid' is a bigger struggle' Parth feels, 'the term nepotism should be acceptable.' He adds, 'Every parent would be happy if their child chooses the same profession. But what people don't understand is that it does not make things any easier for us. Today, any outsider can take as much risk as an artiste while performing, with no fear of losing anything. But I have to maintain dad's earned legacy and respect in this field. So, every choice, every decision is critical. To sustain as a 'nepo kid' is a bigger struggle.' Sanjay adds, 'The fact remains that Parth is a doctor, who later became a professional singer and is now exploring avenues like acting. He has carved his own journey without my help and that speaks volumes.' I would love to gift dad a new car on Father's Day. I am a bit scared about what he might ask for as a gift (laughs) -Parth He knows what I want. Now that he's well-settled in life, we are waiting for a sweet girl to come into his life (smiles) -Sanjay If I had to compare dad to a Bollywood dad, it has to be a milder, mellowed down version of Kamal Mehra (played by Anil Kapoor in Dil Dhadakne Do) -Parth
