Caley Thistle lifted the Scottish Cup for the first and only time a decade ago – beating Falkirk with a pulsating late goal at sun-kissed Hampden.
After knocking out Celtic in an extra-time thriller the month before at the national stadium in Glasgow, John Hughes guided the then Premiership Highlanders to glory against Peter Houston's Bairns from the Championship.
Marley Watkins gave ICT the first half advantage when he latched on to a fine Aaron Doran pass to score.
Falkirk, who Hughes had played for and managed, came roaring back in the second half, but Inverness were standing strong.
However, full-back Carl Tremarco was sent off with 15 minutes to go for pulling down Blair Alston.
Peter Grant – son of Celtic legend of the same name – headed Falkirk level with 10 minutes to go and it seemed like extra-time was again on the cards.
However, a darting breakaway from Watkins led to his shot being spilled by goalkeeper Jamie McDonald and substitute James Vincent was on hand to tap the ball home for the famous victory.
Inverness also finished third in the league that season behind Celtic and Aberdeen, qualifying for the Europa League where they lost 1-0 on aggregate to Romanian opponents Astra Giurgiu in July 2015.

The latest round of payments had been due to go out on Friday. However, players, coaching staff and also general club staff have been hit by a lack of wages being paid out. According to the Sheffield Star, this has affected staff by varying degrees, with some receiving full payments, others only receiving part of their payment and some getting nothing at all. READ MORE IN FOOTBALL CLIFFE EDGE Ratcliffe and Amorim 'on collision course for huge fall-out if Fernandes sold' A letter sent to players and staff allegedly told them they would not be receiving payment until at least Monday. If everyone at the club is not paid in full by the end of next week then a sanction from the EFL will be forthcoming as they sit on the brink of a 30-day default. That would see them banned from signing players. The letter sent to club staff says: "We anticipate outstanding payments will be made in full during the course of this Monday and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. "We understand that such delays create financial pressure and want to reassure our staff that the club is here to support you and ensure that no one suffers any financial hardship… "If you are facing any immediate financial difficulties as a result of this delay, please don't hesitate to contact your Line Manager or Department Head, who will aid the access of emergency funding we have in place." Former Championship club win promotion to National League as fans go wild after nightmare decade When the same issue occurred in March, payment was eventually made on April 7. The club is in the situation it is in due to debts owed to the owner, who has been at the club for a decade. Reacting to the news on social media, fans blasted the club as the "worst run club in football league". The team's Supporters Trust was also fuming in a statement, which read: "We are once again appalled to hear reports that employees of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, have reportedly not been paid again. "If these reports are accurate, this is simply unacceptable. We demand that the club immediately provides a clear and transparent explanation of the situation. "Silence and ambiguity are no longer tolerable. "We reiterate our firm belief that Dejphon Chansiri must sell the club without further delay. "His continued ownership is proving catastrophic for Sheffield Wednesday and everyone connected with it." Protests against Chansiri have gathered pace in the last year as he seeks to sell the club. A second bid to buy the club was reportedly made by an American consortium recently. Wednesday finished 12th in the second tier this season under manager Danny Rohl. Despite being a founding member of the Premier League in 1992, they last appeared in the top flight in 2000.

Brendan Rodgers names his favourite Celtic performance
The Parkhead side's landmark win came against a Leipzig team flying high in the Bundesliga at the time. Despite Christoph Baumgartner putting the visitors ahead in the 23rd minute, Celtic mounted a comeback. Read more: Nicolas Kuhn netted twice before half-time, giving Celtic the lead, and Reo Hatate sealed the victory with a goal with just under 20 minutes left. Rodgers said on Sky Sports' end-of-season Celtic programme: "That's my favourite performance of the season. "Because at the very highest level, we had taken on a team who had an outstanding manager in Marco Rose, Leipzig, who had been in the Champions League for a number of years and had some fantastic players, and we demonstrated at the highest level every part of our game. "We went behind in the game. "We showed the courage to counter-press and press the game. "We go 2-1 up at half-time, then go 3-1 up. "In the second half, we played some amazing football." Celtic went on to finish 21st in the league phase of the Champions League. They qualified for the knockout-stage play-off but were eliminated by Bayern Munich due to a last-minute goal from Alphonso Davies. Rodgers' side will now face a play-off to qualify for the Champions League in the upcoming season.
