According to reports, this year's competition is incredibly tight, with very little separating the top two favourite acts - the Hear Our Voice choir and The Blackouts.
Kayley Cornelius from Betfred has hinted at a nail-biter, asserting: "Looking at the current odds, it's only a matter of percentages separating the top two favourite acts, suggesting it's going to be a really tight race to see who is crowned this year's winner. At 15/8, Hear Our Voice are just clinging on to the favourite spot, but only just. Telling their emotional story through the power of song, their harmonies have struck a strong chord with viewers at home, and the emotional vote could ultimately sway things in their favour."

She added, casting light on shifting dynamics, "However, it's worth noting that up until this week, The Blackouts were the unwavering favourites in the betting markets, and now perched just behind at 2/1, a strong performance on Saturday night could still see them walk away as winners!".
The grand finale of Britain's Got Talent will be live tonight, May 31, and enthusiasts can tune in from 7pm on ITV1 or stream it on ITV X.

Britain's Beverley Hills: Interactive star map reveals how the Cotswolds is PACKED with A-listers from Kate Moss to Clarkson... but which town is the next big thing?

Once a sleepy haven of rolling hills and honey-coloured stone villages, the Cotswolds has become the ultimate millionaires' playground. Celebrities have arrived in their droves, with everyone from the Beckhams and Simon Cowell to US chat show host Ellen DeGeneres now calling it home. This influx of superstars has seen property prices soar - with a simple three-bedroom house in the OX7 postcode now fetching at least £2.5million. The question on everyone's lips is where in the Cotswolds is the next prime time piece of real estate. James Walker is a regional chief in Knight Frank's country department. He told the Daily Mail: 'The ''Golden Triangle'' of the prime Cotswolds as defined by some is roughly located between Burford, Stow on the Wold and Chipping Norton. 'There is little to persuade those well-heeled buyers wishing to reside in these areas that there is much of interest beyond this comfort zone of first-class property and countryside. 'That is until you actually look beyond… the highly attractive and conveniently accessible Cheltenham villages are fast becoming of significant interest to many potential buyers looking more broadly in the Cotswolds and inspired by the draw of Cheltenham's cultural scene; the dual carriageway extension of the main route through the Cotswolds, ''the Missing Link'' (A417), will ensure that access is vastly improved, taking traffic away from the rat-runs and surrounding villages. 'Recently, there has been an unusual number of prime property available both privately and in the open market in the highly desirable Tetbury and surroundings. 'The popular villages of the south Cotswolds accessed via the A433 from Cirencester to Tetbury and on to Bath are increasingly drawing the attention of the market. 'Pretty countryside, bustling market towns and Kemble station are attributes which contribute to the appeal of the area. 'Once regarded as understated, the south Cotswolds is really on the map and continues to surprise and impress!' With the rich and famous continuing to flock to the Cotswolds, the next time you're there for a stroll, you just may well bump into a few... Charles and Camilla - Tetbury Highgrove was acquired by King Charles in 1980, when it consisted of the bare necessities, including a kitchen garden, an overgrown copse, some pastureland and a few hollow oaks. A series of interlinked gardens was created over the following 40 years by Charles, 76, using sustainable methods where possible. Highgrove's garden is now open to the public between April and September every year, welcoming 35,000 visitors. The Orchard Room restaurant is open to guests who sign up for garden tours, with dishes prepared by in-house Highgrove chefs. Queen Camilla, 78, also retains nearby Grade II-listed Ray Mill House, bought in 1996 for £850,000, with the proceeds of her divorce from Andrew Parker Bowles. King Charles III and Queen Camilla during a visit to the Sandringham Flower Show in Norfolk on July 23, 2025 Sources said she uses the home to get away from Highgrove when it is teeming with tourists. One insider told newspaper columnist Adam Helliker: 'At Rey Mill she can sit down with a big G&T, kick off her shoes and watch Coronation Street, which Charles loathes. 'She also doesn't have to bother about how the place looks - Charles is so fussy about tidiness, while she leaves her stuff all over the place. She doesn't need her cushions plumped all the time.' Jeremy Clarkson – Chipping Norton Jeremy Clarkson's £12.5million Cotswold mansion is the ultimate rural retreat. The former Top Gear and Grand Tour star shares the six-bedroom home with partner Lisa Hogan, 51, on his 1,000-acre Diddly Squat Farm near Chipping Norton. Clarkson, 65, famously blew up his previous £4million cottage for a Grand Tour stunt - but subsequently battled jobsworth planners to open Diddly Squat Farm farmshop and restaurant. The former Top Gear and Grand Tour star shares the six-bedroom home with partner Lisa Hogan, 51, on his 1,000-acre Diddly Squat Farm near Chipping Norton He previously ranted about his life going down the pan due to the extravagant new-build. He said: 'I've often said that nothing in life is as awful as trying on trousers. It's the lowest point in a man's life. Except it isn't. 'Being dragged to London to spend a day choosing what sort of flush handle you'd like on your lavatory is worse.' Last year, Clarkson purchased The Windmill pub in Asthall, near Burford, for a reported £1m. Posh and Becks - Great Tew While the Beckhams' property empire spans a London townhouse, a Dubai beach pad, and a Miami penthouse, the superstar couple are said to prefer life hunkered down at their stunning Cotswolds retreat. Their Grade II-listed farmhouse was transformed into a sprawling country mansion when they snapped it up in December 2016 for £6.15million. Inside, the home blends rustic charm with luxury, boasting exposed brick walls, huge open fireplaces, and wooden beams across low ceilings. The estate also boasts a football pitch, a bee farm and a traditional Estonian sauna. The estate has hosted star-studded celebrations, including the backdrop for son Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's engagement photos. Alex James – Kingham Blur bassist-turned-cheesemaker Alex James has made Kingham in the Cotswolds his home - and quite literally 'lives in a house, a very big house in the country'. The 56-year-old owns a stunning six-bedroom 17th-century farmhouse surrounded by rolling countryside and 200 acres of farmland. James shared the honey-stoned farmhouse with his wife Claire and their five children, but also invites thousands each year to the site of his annual Big Feastival food and music festival. Speaking to Hello last year, James said: 'The farm was completely derelict, and we worked hard, throwing everything into it. 'God bless Claire. She thought she was getting a rock star, but she was getting a s*** farmer instead.' Calvin Harris and Vick Hope - Moreton-in-Marsh DJ Calvin Harris and presenter Vick Hope found their Cotswolds escape in 2019, paying £3.9million for a stylish property in the picturesque market town of Moreton-in-Marsh. Harris, 41, won praise from locals after demolishing an 'ugly' post-war property to build a grand Cotswold country house in its place. He and Hope, 35, hired Ben Pentreath, one of the Royal Family's trusted architects, to design a home fit for a king. Set on 10 acres on the outskirts of the desirable Gloucestershire village, the property boasts a vineyard, swimming pool, tennis court, and landscaped gardens. Yet not everyone was happy with the arrival of the One Kiss DJ, real name Adam Wiles. Local Ken Mercer previously told the Daily Mail of his mixed feelings about another multimillionaire star relocating to the desirable spot. The retired Norfolk holiday cottage boss said: 'Another big celebrity name coming to The Cotswolds who can afford to buy a massive plot of land which could house 20 homes for ordinary people.' He added: 'I can't imagine Calvin will mix with local villagers when he moves here.' Simon Cowell - Chipping Norton Music mogul Simon Cowell purchased a luxurious £8million farmhouse in the Chipping Norton area in 2021, settling into eight acres of rolling Cotswolds countryside. The Daily Mail revealed how the 65-year-old plans for a new 793 sq ft 'party barn' to entertain friends and family. The extension, described by his agents as 'minor in scale,' is roughly the size of an average new-build home in the UK and will double as a games room for Cowell's two sons. Simon Cowell officially bid farewell to London after leaving the capital 'because he no longer feels safe', selling his £45million home in Holland Park (pictured) Cowell moved to an estate with fiancée Lauren Silverman following a spate of break-ins at their former £45million Holland Park home. Perched on a hilltop, the property already boasts a wild swimming pond, indoor pool, and sweeping countryside views. Cowell joined neighbours, including Kate Moss and Princess Beatrice, in the fashionable rural enclave. Ellen DeGeneres & Portia Rossi - Burford Former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, 67, left the US just before Donald Trump's election victory, disillusioned with life in America. She and partner Portia de Rossi, 52, first purchased a property in Cheltenham, which they described as a 'part-time house,' before snapping up Kitesbridge Farm in 2024 for around $20million. The couple then moved into a bespoke 10,000-square-foot home nearby named Hiaven, which they purchased for $26million. The couple have since moved to a spectacular new property which is perched on a hilltop on the edge of a village in Oxfordshire DeGeneres, 67, revealed last month at an event in Cheltenham that she was selling Kitesbridge Farm. She said: 'We decided we needed a different house, and now we are selling that house. 'So if anyone wants a house, it's a beautiful stone farmhouse. 'To clarify, I'm not selling the new one we now live in. I'm selling the old stone farmhouse.' Kate Moss - Little Faringdon Supermodel Kate Moss has called the Cotswolds home for over two decades, owning a 10-bedroom Grade II-listed manor in Little Faringdon. She purchased the property in the early 2000s for £2million and quit London permanently in 2021 for life in rural Oxfordshire. The manor features deep red living rooms, wood-panelled walls, stone floors and bold artworks. Outside, the gardens include a pond, statues and vibrant flower displays. The former city-loving hedonist, 51, has embraced country life, previously telling The Times: 'You do things you could never do in the city - sleeping outside, cooking on a fire, all of those things that, growing up in Croydon, I didn't have. 'It's like having another childhood or being in the Famous Five. It's those simple things that make your life proper, isn't it?' Richard Hammond - Bollitree Castle Richard Hammond's Cotswolds home is a Grade II-listed mock castle in Weston-under-Penyard. The Top Gear and The Grand Tour presenter, 55, snapped up Bollitree Castle in 2008 for a reported £2million. Set on 20 acres, the property boasts six bedrooms, a swimming pool and 20 acres of land. Richard Hammond reportedly stayed in his beloved barn on his sprawling £7million Bollitree Castle estate in the wake of his split from estranged wife Mindy Richard has a huge motor collection and said he was keen to rip up a swimming pool he didn't use in the barn to show off more The couple's eldest daughter Isabella, 24, still lives on the estate, working with her father, while younger daughter Willow, 22, lives in Gloucestershire However, Hammond was reportedly banished to the barn in the wake of his split from estranged wife Mindy, 60. The car fanatic spent 15 years restoring the listed granary barn into his dream 'clubhouse'. The couple's eldest daughter, Isabella, 24, still lives on the estate, working with her father, while younger daughter Willow, 22, lives in Gloucestershire.

Sharon Stone reveals her mother's shocking final words in candid interview

Sharon Stone has spoken out on the recent death of her mother (Picture: FilmMagic) Hollywood star Sharon Stone has opened up about her mother's death, revealing her shocking last words. The actress, 67, is known for being frank when it comes to interviews, between previously defending disgraced actor Kevin Spacey and brutally shutting down Good Morning Britain host Ed Balls in an awkward exchange last year. The Basic Instinct star has now spoken of her mother, Dorothy Stone's, recent death, and her shocking final words that included expletives and harsh criticism of her daughter. Stone first announced that her mother had died at the age of 91 on Instagram last month. However, in a frank new interview, she has revealed that Dorothy, or Dot, had actually died 'a few months' before that, but only recently found the words to talk about it. In speaking of Dorothy's final hours, the 90s icon shared details of her mother's troubled upbringing amid a cycle of abuse, which led to Stone and her sister also being sexually assaulted by their grandfather. Stone currently stars in the action sequel Nobody 2 (Picture: WireImage) The actress rose to fame in the 90s as the star of Total Recall, Basic Instinct and Casino (Picture: Getty Images) Speaking to Daily Mail, Stone revealed how her mother had died in March, saying: 'I was only ready to tell the public about it now because I always get my mad feelings first when people die.' Those feelings, she says, included 'a little bit of anger and a little bit of, 'I didn't f*** need you anyway,' you know!' Of Dorothy, Stone said: 'My mom wasn't of a sunny disposition. She was hilarious, but she said terrible things to me. Dot swore like a Portuguese dock worker.' Stone has detailed the difficult relationship she had with her mother (Picture: WireImage) Stone continued: 'She said, 'I'm going to kick you in the c***'' to me probably 40 times in the last five days. But that was her delirium. 'And when the last thing your mother says to you before she dies is, 'You talk too much, you make me want to commit suicide. 'And the whole room laughs, you think: 'that's a hard one to go out on, Mom!' But that's how she was. This lack of ability to find tenderness and peace within herself.' Stone's mother died in March, aged 91 (Picture: Getty Images) Stone revealed how her maternal grandfather had abused Dorothy as a child, leading to a terrible fear that her parents would return as she lay dying. 'She was desperately afraid that when she died, her mother and father would be there,' Stone told the publication. 'She didn't want to die, because she didn't want to see them, because they were so awful. 'So I convinced her that I had put them in jail and they were not going to be there. She was in such hell. Nobody comes through this life intact. So why do we pretend that one does?' Stone detailed her childhood abuse in a 2021 memoir (Picture: WireImage) Stone described how her grandfather had abused her too, but had 'got away from him before he was super-sexually abusive.' 'I was a very savvy kid. I got away with much lighter abuse than other people did,' said the actress, who currently stars in action sequel Nobody 2. Stone also detailed her grandfather's abuse of her family – which also included her younger sister, Kelly – in her 2021 memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice. 'She's refused to read my book, even though she encouraged me to write it, as did my mom, and I dedicated my book to Mom,' Stone said of the memoir. The actress has suffered much tragedy over the past decade (Picture: Getty Images) The death of Stone's mother comes two years after losing her younger brother, Joseph Patrick Stone. In a post to Instagram at the time, Stone shared the sad news, tearfully announcing: 'Hello everybody. This message is to confirm that yes, we did lose my brother, Patrick Joseph Stone, to a heart attack yesterday.' This latest tragedy came only one year after the death of Patrick's son – Stone's nephew – 11-month-old River. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Up Next Previous Page Next Page Stone continued: 'Yes he is the man who was the father to River, who we lost last year at 11 months old. 'He is survived by his wife Tasha and his son Hunter and his daughter Kaylee. Like any family, we thank you for your love and support in this time of immeasurable grief and we appreciate all of your condolences.' The actress spoke of how her family have been through 'a tremendous amount of loss in these last couple of years as so many of you also have'. As tears streamed down her face, she added: 'I thank you very much for the love and support that you're showing us, and we just ask you to continue to be kind. Thank you.' Got a story? Everyone's forgotten these celebrities once auditioned for The X Factor: From reality TV icons to popstars - and even an Olympian - these stars were determined to make it no matter what!

The X Factor was a reality TV juggernaught, enthralling millions of viewers with its annual battle to find the nation's next big popstar at its peak. Created by Simon Cowell in 2004, the show helped to launch the careers of some of the UK's biggest stars, including One Direction, Little Mix and Alexandra Burke. But the ITV talent show went on a hiatus after its 2018 series suffered a plunge in ratings. Three years later, Simon confirmed it wouldn't be returning. While the programme kicked-off many glittering careers in showbusiness, you have probably forgotten these famous faces once tried their luck on the show. Luckily we're here to remind you... Max George At the tender age of 16, and sporting a broken arm, The Wanted's Max George decided to try his luck on The X Factor. Heading to the Salford's Lowry Hotel with his dad, Max auditioned in front of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osborne. Max impressed the judges at the time, with Simon Cowell hailing him 'a young Robbie Williams ' - however he was cut from the show at the bootcamp stage. One year later Max returned to The X Factor, this time as part of the boyband Avenue. The band thoroughly impressed the judges and they sailed through to the live finals. But Avenue landed themselves at the centre of a scandal when it was revealed they already had professional representation, which was against show rules at the time. The band was brutally disqualified from the show as a result. Max has since reflected on his first X Factor audition, and called it a moment which changed his life. Speaking to the Manchester Evening News in 2018, he said: 'That day at The Lowry was when it all changed.' He added: 'That night I told my dad there was an open audition for X Factor and I said I'm going to go. He took me down, and that was it then, I never looked back after that really.' Mollie King Before her success with The Saturdays, Mollie King tried to make a go of being a singer on The X Factor not just once, but twice She rose to fame as one fifth of the band The Saturdays, alongside S Club Juniors stars Rochelle Humes and Frankie Bridge. But before her success with the girl group, Mollie King tried to make a go of being a singer on The X Factor not just once, but twice. She made her debut show back in 2005, but her attempts at singing left judges Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell less than impressed. While Simon actually seemed otherwise quite taken with her revealing style, Sharon chastised her for her awful wardrobe choices after the so-so audition, that saw Mollie warbling through I Just Want To Make Love To You. 'I think you're dressed totally inappropriately,' the red-haired music manager said, to which boss Simon replied, 'Well, that didn't bother me too much!' Mollie, who was 18 at the time, was clad in a slinky, draped metallic top and tiny white shorts that showed off the beauty's stunning frame, but it wasn't perhaps the right choice for an X Factor audition. But that fateful visit in 2005 on the second series of the show - which was eventually won by Shayne Ward - wasn't the only time Mollie tried her best. She returned in 2007 with girl group Fallen Angelz, this time with a far more urban and colourful look. They ran into the small studio singing their hearts out and skipping along, something that seemed to thrill Simon. Mollie and her equally badly-dressed cohorts shouted rather than sang a version of Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend, which caused quite the reaction from the judging panel, which this time included Dannii Minogue. Jasmin Walia Jasmin Walia started out on The Only Way Is Essex as an extra back in 2010, before becoming a full-time cast member two years later. But after her TOWIE fame, Jasmin began her venture into the world of music and auditioned for The X Factor. Jasmin failed to impress Simon Cowell, Mel B, Louis Walsh and Cheryl when she auditioned for the ITV show back in 2014. She auditioned alongside her brother Danny Walia at Arsenal FC's Emirates Stadium in north London. But sadly things didn't go her way and the aspiring singer ended up sobbing after being dealt four nos by the judges. She told The Mirror at the time: 'I'm sure they had heard of TOWIE. I think they did grill me a bit because of who I am but I couldn't talk back to them at the time because I respect people. 'The X Factor was brutal but I just tried to take it all on the chin. I don't regret it. At the time, I was like 'Oh no' - I felt like I'd really let myself down. 'But do you know what? I just got nervous. It happens.' However the reality star later proved her singing prowess in December 2016, when her performance as Princess Jasmine received rave reviews. Bianca Gascoigne The adopted daughter of former footballer Paul Gascoigne tried her luck on X Factoron the ninth series in 2012. Before singing for Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Louis Walsh and guest judge Rita Ora, Bianca explained: 'This is really what I want, I love singing and hopefully they can see that when I walk on stage, you know that I really do care and that I'm going to be nervous because it means so much to me.' However her version of I'm Goin' Down by Mary J. Blige failed to impress the judges and left her family in tears as they heard the remarks. Gary kicked things off by saying: 'If I could compare you with the other 25-year-olds we've had it's really not good enough. 'What the other 25-year-olds have is that they've been singing like all their lives, seriously singing. At 25 you should be a lot better than that. In general it was a bit of a mediocre audition.' Louis Walsh said: 'Bianca you haven't got a bad voice, you've got a great image you know but it's tough because we've got some amazing singers in this category already.' Tulisa was also a lot more supportive as she tried to sugarcoat the bad news. She said: 'I appreciate and admire the fact that you've come up and basically wanted to try something different and change the public's perception of you. 'I think you're a cool girl I've met you out a couple of times but I've got to be honest i don't think the vocals were strong enough for this competition.' Guest judge Rita Ora gave the final negative comment and said: 'I can tell you were nervous but I agree with T, I think we've seen better singers.' With each judge saying no, Bianca was sent home as Tulisa explained to Rita and Louis that she found that whole audition 'really awkward'. Louis Smith Not content with winning a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, gymnast Louis Smith took his talents to the X Factor judges in 2009. With no major competition until the autumn of that year, Louis decided to enter the contest after seeing an advert. He belted out a rendition of East 17's If You Ever - but the judges were left unimpressed. 'It wasn't good enough,' said head judge Simon Cowell. 'I don't think you'll ever be good enough.' He added: 'So stick to doing what you're brilliant at doing. For you to achieve what you've achieved at your age is incredible.' Speaking to Radio Times about his attempt, he said: 'It was a bit of fun. 'I had to make a decision when I was eight and got offered a scholarship in singing either to do that full time or carry on with gym. I chose gym.'
