Parineeti Chopra Is A ‘Monsoon Paglu' And We Absolutely Relate To Her
Do you get excited every time it rains? Well, guess what, so does Parineeti Chopra! In a recent post on Instagram stories, the actress gave fans a delightful peek into her monsoon mood. The clip added to the post saw her standing on what seems to be the terrace of her lavish home and giving a view of rain-soaked scenes, with a bright smile on her face.
And the best part? Parineeti proudly called herself a 'Monsoon Paglu," and we totally relate to her. Dressed in comfy PJs, the actress looked radiant as she let her natural beauty shine in a glam avatar.
Just two days before this, Parineeti Chopra was spotted outside the sets of The Great Indian Kapil Show. She was set for her appearance on the show alongside her husband Raghav Chadha, nearly two years after their wedding. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned and the shoot had to be cut short. Why? Raghav's mother fell ill and was immediately rushed to the hospital. According to a report by IANS, filming was halted midway after Raghav's mother who joined him for his appearance on the show, started shivering before the shoot began.
According to the reports, the production team of the show will coordinate with Raghav and Parineeti to reschedule and reshoot the episode.
Parineeti was last seen in Imtiaz Ali's Amar Singh Chamkila. In the film, she was seen alongside Diljit Dosanjh and both the actors earned applause for their incredible performances.
Looking ahead, Parineeti Chopra has an upcoming Netflix series in the pipeline. The untitled project features a powerful ensemble cast, including Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jennifer Winget, Harleen Sethi, Chaitannya Choudhry, Sumeet Vyas and Anup Soni. Not long ago, Parineeti announced her next project with a string of pictures, writing, 'Some mysteries don't just unfold – they pull you in, keep you guessing, and refuse to let go. A new mystery thriller series is in the making!"
Filming for the series has already been completed but the makers are yet to make any official announcement related to the title and release date.
On the personal front, Parineeti Chopra tied the knot with AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha in Udaipur on September 24, 2023.

Son of Sardaar 2 Movie Review: Not Ajay Devgn or Mrunal Thakur, it is Ravi Kishan who makes a bogus and bonkers film bearable
'Son of Sardaar 2' is back with its ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, Sahil Mehta, and a posthumous appearance by the late Mukul Dev. But is the film worth watching? read more Cast: Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Neeru Bajwa, Deepak Dobriyal, Kubbra Sait, Chunky Panday, Sharat Saxena, Mukul Dev, Vindu Dara Singh and Sanjay Mishra Director: Vijay Kumar Arora Sometimes, I wonder why Bollywood makes such movies? We don't need star-studded films like Son of Sardaar 2. We need good stories and good craftsmen. Filmmakers need to understand that audiences have evolved, they know what is good cinema and what is bad cinema? They are literate enough to differentiate between the two. So, do not underestimate or take your audiences for granted dear Bollywood. And let me tell you nobody, literally nobody is star-struck. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD A still from Son of Sardaar 2 You give us some good-looking faces, foreign destinations and some over age stars who don't even know what age-appropriate acting is and we will be happy? Is that what you think? Just forget it. Audiences today are way more intelligent than what you think them to be. They have got exposure to good cinema and they definitely know what you are feeding us is sheer garbage. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film is a sequel to Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Son of Sardaar which was supposedly a 2012 hit. But _Son of Sardaar 2_ is cringe, it's not even a comedy. It just shows a low sense of humour. While watching the film, I asked a well-known trade expert who was sitting right behind me as to why does Bollywood make movies like this? To which he said, 'to make us laugh.' Honestly, are sense of humour is way superior and this kind of distasteful movie, can never make us laugh. This film is just snore worthy. Ajay Devgn is in the titular role and this time he is paired with Mrunal Thakur. Looks like in Bollywood male actors refuse to age or even attempt to do age-appropriate movies. Wonder why Mrunal Thakur even agreed to sign in for this? The only actor's performance which was worth watching is Ravi Kisha. This actor truly knows his craft and makes even a badly written mindlessly scripted film watchable. But again, a man who has done such brilliant performances in the past like Kiran Rao's directorial film Laapataa Ladies and Netflix's Maamla Legal Hai, why did he even agree to be part of this project which has such a bogus storyline. Sorry to say the movie is entertaining only in some parts of it, otherwise it is just mindless. I totally hated the 'cringe-worthy' pairing of Ajay Devgn (56) and Mrunal Thakur (33). And Chunky Pandey, what were you even doing in this film? STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Rating: 1 and half out of 5

Son of Sardaar 2 Advance Booking: Ajay Devgn's Film Eyes A Blockbuster Opening
Last Updated: Serving as a sequel to the 2012 hit comedy film Son Of Sardaar, the Ajay Devgn film has reportedly received lower-than-expected advance bookings. Son of Sardaar 2 has finally hit theaters and it is expected to face stiff competition from Dhadak 2 at the box office. Serving as a sequel to the 2012 hit comedy film Son Of Sardaar, the Ajay Devgn film has reportedly received lower-than-expected advance bookings. The multi-starrer, including Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Kubbra Sait and others promises to be a laughter riot with the essence of chaos similar to its predecessor. As per a Pinkvilla report, Son Of Sardaar 2 sold around 27,000 tickets on its first day in the top three national chains (PVR Inox and Cinepolis). The film is experiencing low-key pre-sales. Moreover, the film will be released in 2500 to 3000 screens in India, which is a strategic move given the box office competition with Dhadak 2 and previous releases Saiyaara and Mahavatar Narsimha. Despite being a sequel to a successful film, Son Of Sardaar 2 is expected to launch with a modest Rs 6.5 to Rs 7 crore. According to an old PV report, the film's distributors had been attempting to get a hefty 60 per cent share of total shows, but several exhibitors have refused to comply. The report mentioned, 'While some single screens have agreed on two-shows per-day, the non-national chains are willing to give not more than 35 per cent shows to Son of Sardaar 2. This has left PVRInox fuming, and the fight is on to secure more shows." Son Of Sardaar 2 Boasts Of An Ensemble Cast Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film would see Ajay Devgn reprise his role as Jaswinder 'Jassi" Singh Randhawa. The new movie will follow Jassi to Scotland to reconcile with his wife. Once there, he becomes involved in a mob battle and a violent wedding. Son Of Sardaar 2 also stars Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Neeru Bajwa, Deepak Dobriyal, Kubbra Sait, Chunkey Panday, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia and others. Originally slated for July 25, it was finally released on August 1, clashing with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri's Dhadak 2. Son of Sardar 2 is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande and is presented by Jio Studios and Devgn Films, as well as by SOS 2 Limited. N R Pachisia and Pravin Talreja produced the film, which was co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
