CM congratulates C.V. Anand
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday lauded Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand for bagging a top international award for his department's anti-narcotics efforts, calling it a proud moment for the State and a step forward in the fight against drugs.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Chief Minister congratulated Mr Anand for winning the First Prize for Excellence in Anti-Narcotics at the World Police Summit 2025, held in Dubai. The summit, hosted by Dubai Police, recognises global policing efforts across various fields, including narcotics control.
'Our government has been categorical that narcotics pose a serious threat to our society, and cannot be tolerated in the name of 'lifestyle',' Mr Reddy posted. 'Drugs are a threat to our future generations and have to be fought against by all of us… I am happy @TelanganaCOPs is seriously working to destroy this menace. Let us all join together to end drugs and make #Telangana drugs-free.'

Shortly after this, Telangana DGP Jitender also posted a tweet, congratulating Commissioner Anand on receiving the award 'A proud moment for Telangana & India,' he wrote.
Congratulations to Sri C.V. Anand, IPS, CP Hyderabad, on receiving the Excellence in Anti-Narcotics Award at #WorldPoliceSummit2025, Dubai. A proud moment for Telangana & India.

Responding to the recognition, Commissioner Anand said the award was a tribute to the people of Telangana and the State's collective resolve to curb drug trafficking. 'Any war against narcotics depends on three factors — political resolve, public support and excellent policing,' he said in a statement.
Over the past 16 months, Hyderabad and Telangana police have reportedly stepped up efforts to tackle narcotics using a mix of strategy, intelligence and technology. Mr Anand attributed this momentum to the 'commitment and vision' of the Chief Minister, who, he said, had transformed the anti-drugs drive into a people-backed movement.
'The Chief Minister has been unequivocal and determined to erase this menace to our society, especially our children,' he said, adding that the police would continue working with public support to realise the goal of a drugs-free Telangana.

US President Donald Trump said he is 'not particularly" interested in speaking to billionaire Elon Musk, dismissing the Tesla and SpaceX CEO as a 'man who has lost his mind." The remark comes amid a public fallout between the two former allies who have turned against each other with escalating personal and political attacks. Donald Trump's comment was made in response to reports that the pair were scheduled to speak privately, a plan that now appears uncertain. Elon Musk vs Donald Trump: A High-Stakes Political Feud The high-profile alliance between Donald Trump and Elon Musk has dramatically unraveled into a bitter public feud with the two exchanging sharp accusations. The fallout began when Donald Trump publicly criticized Elon Musk at a White House press briefing, backing legislation that could severely impact the electric vehicle industry- a direct hit on Tesla. Elon Musk, in response, fired back on his platform X (formerly Twitter), claiming that without his financial and strategic backing, Donald Trump would have lost the 2024 election. Calling the US President 'ungrateful", Elon Musk said, 'Without me, Trump would have lost. The Democrats would control the House." Elon Musk then dropped a bombshell claim that Donald Trump's name appears in sealed files related to Jeffrey Epstein, suggesting that's why the documents remain hidden. He wrote, 'Time to drop the really big bomb: Donald Trump is in the Epstein files." He then went on to endorse a post calling for Donald Trump's impeachment and suggested that Vice President JD Vance replace him. Allu Arjun In Spotlight As 'Arrest Virat Kohli' Trends On X After Bengaluru Stampede Row
Last Updated: Bengaluru's Chinnaswamy Stadium stampede has sparked a trend on X calling for Virat Kohli's arrest. Amid this, Allu Arjun is trending on the platform due to a similar incident. RCB Parade Stampede News: A tragic stampede broke out outside Bengaluru's Chinnaswamy Stadium after a crowd gathered to celebrate Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) IPL victory on June 4. The incident claimed the lives of 11 people. In connection with the incident, police have taken six individuals into custody. Amid this, RCB captain Virat Kohli's name has been trending on X (formerly Twitter), after a section of the Internet felt he should be arrested. The conversation comes after Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13, 2024, by the Chikkadpally police in Hyderabad in connection with a tragic stampede at the premiere of Pushpa 2. As the 'Arrest Virat Kohli' trend continues to soar on X, so does Allu Arjun. The South megastar has found himself in the spotlight on the social media platform, as fans rally for equal treatment for both him and Virat in connection with similar stampede incidents – just six months apart. A social media user said that a neutral approach should be taken in the stampede row. 'Who was arrested after kumbh 2025?? Who was arrested after pahal gai attack?? The Indian skipper posted RCB's official statement on Instagram, writing, 'At a loss for words. Absolutely gutted", on the post. All you need to know about Allu Arjun's arrest in 2024 On December 4, 2024, a stampede at Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre resulted in the death of 39-year-old Revathi and left her son, Sri Teja, critically injured. Authorities attributed the tragedy to an uncontrolled rush of fans attempting to enter the venue to catch a glimpse of actor Allu Arjun. Police reported that they were not informed in advance about the attendance of the Pushpa 2 team, leading to a lack of proper crowd control measures. Following the incident, Allu Arjun, his security team, and the Sandhya Theatre management were charged under Sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), relating to culpable homicide not amounting to murder and voluntarily causing hurt. All parties were arrested on December 13. The actor spent one night in custody before being granted regular bail by a Hyderabad court. As part of the bail conditions, the Nampally court required Allu Arjun to submit two sureties of Rs 50,000 each. He returned home to his wife and Sneha Reddy and kids the next morning. Few days later, on December 24, the actor held a press conference where he publicly reacted to the incident and spoke about the character assassination and humiliation he and his family had to face all throughout. He had further clarified the 'misinformation" that was being spread about him. Soon after, the matter was put to rest. First Published:

Musk vs Trump Feud: 10 ways they can destroy each other—legally
When Thomas Anderson is first unplugged from the Matrix, his body convulses. His mind rejects the truth. 'He's going into arrest,' they warn, as his world crumbles. Because when you've lived too long in an illusion, reality doesn't just disappoint—it short-circuits you. That's where Elon Musk is now. He's been yanked out of the warm, binary womb of TrumpWorld. No more bromance tweets. No more wink-wink White House briefings. No more red-carpeted corridors of power where he could whisper about AI doomsday while nudging SpaceX contracts. Just cold, hard betrayal. And now? Now he wants revenge. Here are 10 gloriously real, absurdly powerful, and completely legal ways that Trump and Musk can rip each other apart—like Neo and Agent Smith in an alley full of bad ideas. 1. Trump Pulls the Plug on Musk's Federal Billions Trump, fresh off a fiscal sobriety bender and looking for budgetary scapegoats, has a new mantra : 'No woke space toys on my dime.' He's already floated cutting $3 billion worth of contracts to Musk's empire. That's not just pruning—it's taking a chainsaw to the money tree. Tesla loses its tax credits. Starlink gets kicked out of the Pentagon's good books. SpaceX is told to sit in the corner while Blue Origin waves from the Oval Office with a smug Bezos smirk. This isn't just defunding—this is strategic neutering. 2. Musk Threatens the Republic via Rocket Blackmail Musk didn't wait to be hit first. He threatened to decommission the Dragon spacecraft —the one that ferries NASA astronauts and lunch packets to the International Space Station. The unspoken message? Nice space programme you've got there. Be a shame if something happened to it. Suddenly, space diplomacy looks more like a hostage negotiation with a Bond villain in a Twitter hoodie. 3. Trump Can Yank Elon's Security Clearance Every time Elon boasts about top-secret briefings, there's an Air Force general somewhere crying into his gin. His clearance—granted through his role in military space launches—could be revoked with one swipe of Trump's Montblanc pen. Without it, Musk becomes a liability rather than an asset. He can still launch memes, just not missiles. And without Pentagon favours, his whole 'Iron Man meets Ayn Rand' routine collapses into a Reddit thread. 4. Elon Funds a Third Party Just to Spite Him In classic Musk fashion, the Tesla tzar tweeted a poll asking if he should start a new centrist political party. It was part libertarian fantasy, part MAGA middle-finger, and 100% chaos. Over 1.8 million people voted 'Yes.' Even if it doesn't win , a Musk-backed third party could siphon off enough voters to sabotage Trump's 2028 ambitions. Think Ross Perot meets a Neuralink experiment gone rogue. 5. Trump Targets Musk's Ketamine Chronicles Bannon has demanded a drug probe into Musk's ketamine-fuelled soirées, suggesting the billionaire is 'not of sound mind.' That's ironic coming from a man who looks like he was raised on moonshine and conspiracy theories. But in TrumpWorld, personal destruction is political strategy. Imagine Musk dragged into a Senate hearing with Marjorie Taylor Greene asking, 'Were you or were you not high when naming your child X Æ A-12?' 6. Musk Unleashes Epstein Allegations Without warning, Musk lobbed a digital hand grenade: that Trump's White House deliberately delayed the release of Epstein files because his name may have been in them. He offered no evidence—just vibes and vengeance. But in a country where 30% of voters think Wayfair sells children, that's enough to spark headlines, hearings, and hashtags. When Elon says, 'Mark this post,' he's not just trolling—he's threatening to turn on the lights in a room no one wants to see. 7. Trump Ends DOGE—the Bureaucratic Crypto Baby The Department of Government Efficiency, nicknamed DOGE, was Musk's vanity project: part startup, part prank, part Silicon Valley fever dream. Its mission? Replace Washington's bureaucratic sludge with blockchain optimism and quarterly reports. Trump could axe it tomorrow and return the halls of power to their natural state: clogged, confused, and blissfully analog. No more agile government. No more 'lean federalism. ' Just 500-page PDFs printed in triplicate. 8. Elon Withholds the Final $100M Musk had pledged a total of $350 million to support Trump's 2024 run. But the final $100 million is still hanging —like a Sword of Damocles in a cryptocurrency wallet. Trump, a man who treats loyalty like a Costco membership, doesn't forgive open wallets with closed zips. This isn't just about money—it's about respect. And Musk knows just how much Trump hates being ghosted, especially by someone richer. 9. Trump Questions Musk's Citizenship The Birther playbook is back. Bannon claims Musk is an 'illegal alien.' Never mind that Elon's been a naturalised American citizen since 2002. Trump doesn't need facts—just vibes, slogans, and a red hat. Expect rallies where Trump says, 'Elon? Great guy. But I'm hearing things. People are saying.' That's how the political meat grinder starts: with an innuendo and ends with a Senate subcommittee. 10. Musk Starves MAGA's Internet Starlink, Musk's satellite internet service, powers vast swathes of rural America—aka MAGA heartland. One well-timed update and Fox Nation stops loading. Steve Bannon's podcast gets frozen mid-rant. Truth Social becomes Truth Unavailable. Musk doesn't even need to admit fault. He can just smirk and say, 'Server overload. We're working on it.' MAGA may love him, but they'll riot if they miss Tucker's rerun. Final Thought: Welcome to the Unplugged War This isn't a feud—it's a glitch in the Matrix. Two megalomaniacs, both convinced they are The One. Trump, the spiritual father of populist politics. Musk, the meme-mad prophet of techno-libertarianism. They fed each other, validated each other, needed each other. But now the code is breaking. And if The Matrix taught us anything, it's this: when reality reasserts itself, the ones who rejected it scream the loudest. Musk took the red pill. Trump wrote the damn pill into law. Now they're locked in a fight to see who can bend reality back first. Only one can emerge from the simulation. The other gets ratioed on his own app.
