The celebrity chef said the weight dropped off when she started training for a charity bike ride.
At her heaviest, the This Morning star revealed she weighed 20 stone.
Rosemary is set to cycle 450 miles from Land's End in Cornwall to the White Cliffs of Dover in Kent.
She began training last September, and revealed how cycling has helped the pounds melt away.
Revealing in total she had lost three stone in eight months, she told Good Morning Britain hosts Ranvir Singh and Robert Rinder: "Well, it's all, it's exercise. I mean, you know, it's exercise.
"You know, I think anything that can help you, if you can so jacks or anything.
"I think that's a good thing, because you know, anything that can get you moving.
"For me (my weight loss) is pure exercise, exercise, exercise."
'SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE'
The TV star will kick off her enormous bike ride on Sunday and aims to finish on June 18.

Earlier this week, she admitted that the bike ride had made her feel like she has been given "a second chance at life".
Rosemary candidly said she was "embarrassed to admit" she weighed "well over 20 stone" a "few years ago".
She revealed she feared walking down a street because she "might not get back" because of how big she was before her weight loss.
The ambassador for the Hendy Foundation - the independent charity she is doing the bike ride for - wrote in her Woman's Weekly magazine column: "A couple of years ago, I was at a party with their chairperson Rebecca Hendy, and said, 'I really want to raise money by doing a bicycle ride along the south coast.'

"Rebecca was initially sceptical. Back then, although more mobile after a hip replacement operation, I was barely doing any exercise and weighed well over 20 stone, which I'm embarrassed to admit now.
"My health had got so bad, I remember thinking, 'I'd better not walk down the street because I might not get back.'
"I knew I had to do something, to pick myself up and get myself going. I was tired of being on an endless cycle of weight loss and weight gain. Any weight loss I ever achieved was never sustainable. Life was a constant fluctuation of up and down, which psychologically was very depressing.
"Although I'm still big, I can happily say that I've lost more than three stone since embarking on the biggest challenge of my life - training for a 450-mile bike ride from Land's End to the White Cliffs of Dover.
"It's been a hard slog - I've even become virtually teetotal - but I'm so proud of myself and feel I've been given a second chance at life."
Rosemary added: "I'm 75 next January, and I've given myself the best-ever birthday present - my health!"

I'm A Celebrity star 'signs up' for latest edition of Celebrity Bake Off

A former star of I'm A Me Out of Here has reportedly signed up for the latest edition of the Bake Off in a Stand Up To Cancer special The latest famous face to be signed up for the Great British Bake Off is said to have been confirmed. Former I'm A Celebrity star Babatunde Aleshe has reportedly agreed to another reality TV show following his stint in the jungle. The comedian, 38, starred on the ITV show Down Under in 2022, and is now said to be ready to test his culinary skills. It's claimed Babatunde will take part in the Stand Up To Cancer special of the hit Channel 4 show. ‌ "Babatunde is guaranteed to be hilarious and will no doubt have plenty of banter with Paul, Noel, Caroline and Alison," a source said. ‌ Speaking to the Sun, the TV insider continued: "'He's not known for his prowess in the kitchen so there's sure to be some panicky moments laced with the good humour he's known for. "His energy on the Gogglebox sofa has always been pure positivity and very infectious, and bosses are hoping he'll bring that to the tent." Other names reportedly signed up for the unique edition include JoJo Siwa. Hot on the heels of her Celebrity Big Brother appearance - where she met Chris Hughes - the Dance Moms star is claimed to be set for another UK reality TV show. The 22-year-old American singer boosted her profile on the opposite side of the Atlantic in April when she was a contestant on ITV's Celebrity Big Brother - she already had a huge stateside following. Now it has been reported that JoJo will be popping up on Channel 4 and testing out her culinary skills. A source claimed:"This is a bit of a coup for the Bake Off because Jojo is currently one of the most talked about young stars on TV right now. ‌ "She's barely had time to catch her breath, leaving CBB last month amid huge media attention and heading straight into another huge show this month. It's also a fantastic gig for her because although she already has a fanbase over here, the cookery contest also introduces her to a wider British audience," the source added to The Sun. "Plus she got plenty of experience of cooking in front of the cameras while she was on Celebrity Big Brother, though this time she won't have hunky Chris to distract her." ‌ JoJo and Chris' budding friendship stole the show in the Big Brother house. Speculation was rife they were more than just friends, with JoJo revealed to have dumped fiance Kath Ebbs at the wrap party. Snaps have since emerged of the singer kissing the 32-year-old former Love Island star while they were on holiday together in Mexico. They have continued to pair special mentions to each other on social media following their exit from the CBB house.

New Love Island star exits ITV show after bosses learn of past arrest

One Love Island star has left the ITV villa after bosses learned of his past arrest. The star, who was released with no further action, said he 'fully cooperated with the police investigation' A new Love Island star was recently removed from the line-up of the upcoming series after bosses learned of his past arrest. Kyle Ashman, who was due to take part in the dating series airing this month, is no longer entering the Spanish villa following news of his recent arrest coming to light. Earlier this year, the 23-year-old water operative was arrested and quizzed by police with another person over an attack in Stafford, which Kyle said he had no involvement in a recent statement. After being quizzed by police, he was released with no further action. ‌ Speaking on his exit, Kyle said: "I fully cooperated with this police investigation and made it very clear that I had no involvement in this incident. I am not a violent person and any suggestion otherwise is a mischaracterisation." ‌ ITV also released a statement on his departure saying: "For personal reasons, Kyle will not be entering the Love Island Villa as planned. Staffordshire Police had previously said: 'We were called to a social club on Riverway, Stafford, at 7.40pm on Friday, February 28 following reports that someone had been glassed outside and a fight was taking place. Some of the men involved were wearing masks and were carrying weapons. 'Two men went to hospital after suffering injuries at the scene. Both have since been discharged. A man and a woman suffered minor injuries at the scene but did not want any medical treatment. 'Officers have reviewed CCTV footage and have been actively carrying out enquiries to find out more about what happened. A 22-year-old man, from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of wounding and affray. Another man, also 22 and from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of affray. ‌ 'Both were questioned in custody and bailed with conditions while our enquiries continue.' The police later confirmed both suspects were released with no further action last month. Meanwhile, when Kyle was meant to enter the villa, he shared his expectations from the show and shared how he flirted with women. ‌ He said: "I just go with it, find something to compliment a girl on and go from there." The star went on to say he was looking for "someone that's fun, confident and just themselves".

Love Island star's SHOCK EXIT as they leave the villa ahead of upcoming series after citing 'personal reasons'

Love Island star Kyle Ashman has left the show ahead of the launch episode next Monday. ITV have confirmed the 23-year-old from Stafford has chosen not to enter the villa and has decided to leave the show for personal reasons. It comes amid The Sun's reports that Kyle was involved in an machete attack in February when masked thugs stormed a wake and hacked at a dad with a blade. Kyle was one of two arrested by police but he was released with no further action and he has now confirmed he had no involvement in the incident, but has chosen to leave the ITV show regardless. Kyle told MailOnline: 'I fully cooperated with this police investigation and made it very clear that I had no involvement in this incident. 'I am not a violent person and any suggestion otherwise is a mischaracterisation.' Meanwhile ITV added: 'For personal reasons, Kyle will not be entering the Love Island Villa as planned.' The Love Island line up was announced on Tuesday so Kyle's departure will have plunged the show into chaos ahead of Monday's launch episode. The Sun have revealed they alerted bosses on Kyle being questioned in the attack but ITV said they were unaware of the incident and he was not flagged during the contestant checks. The incident on February 28 saw the victim, 38, nearly lose his arm after he was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment and kept it for around two weeks. Another mourner was reportedly glassed, one hit with a metal pole, and two people were run over by a car during the 15 minute attack at the The White Eagle Club in Stafford. Sources said the victim was attacked by three balaclava-clad thugs over an alleged £3,000 debt. He was injured by a blade that left him with a deep gash and has suffered tendon damage and is now unable to drive. Police confirmed yesterday that after the matter had been investigated Kyle and another individual were released with no further action only last month. The incident on February 28 at The White Eagle Club in Stafford saw the victim, 38, nearly lose his arm after he was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment A show source told the publication: 'ITV were entirely unaware of Kyle's past and, as he was not charged, it was not flagged as part of Love Island's stringent DBS checks. 'It's only right he can now return home to the UK to share his side of the story and therefore bosses took the decision that it was best for him not to enter the villa.' Staffordshire Police said on Monday: 'A 22-year-old man, from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of wounding and affray. Another man, also 22 and from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of affray. 'Both were questioned in custody and bailed with conditions while our enquiries continue.' Kyle, who works as a water operative, doesn't have a strong social media presence with just one Insta pic on his profile. Prior to his announced departure, Kyle said he was looking for 'someone that's fun, confident and just themselves'.
