Danniella Westbrook SPLITS from boxer boyfriend Chasa Symonds: Actress eyes up huge dating show to find 'true love' and someone who isn't a 'clout chaser' after heartbreak
The actress, 51, revealed she has parted ways with the boxer, 42, in a new interview with the Daily Star, as she shared her hopes to sign up to Celebs Go Dating.
Danniella previously called Chasa her 'soulmate and love of her life' and even hinted at marriage plans.
The pair reportedly began as friends after meeting in a Croydon pub, and had known each other for six years before deciding to take their relationship to the next level.
While it is currently unknown why Danniella and Chasa split, she admitted she hopes to find 'true love' with someone who isn't a 'clout chaser'.
She said: 'I'd love to do Celebs Go Dating. I need to find true love. I thought I'd found it, but I was wrong.'
Danniella added: 'I'd love to meet someone who's not a clout chaser, someone genuine who isn't obsessed with social media or has a massive ego.
'Just someone real, with a bit of drive. Someone who doesn't want to suddenly be an actor or go on Big Brother once you've lived with them, you know, suddenly they want to give up everything they're doing and become famous.'
'When you get to 51, and you think you've found 'the one', like I thought I had not too long ago, and it doesn't work out, it knocks you a bit. So now, I'm just trying to find that spark and energy again.'
Daily Mail has contacted Danniella's representatives for comment.
The former EastEnders star was previously married to Ben Morgan between 1998 and 1999 and then Kevin Jenkins from 2001 to 2014, while she also dated Brian Harvey from 1991-1995 at the height of his band East 17's fame.
It was previously reported that Danniella said she finally found her 'soulmate' and was planning to marry the bare-knuckle boxer who 'doesn't judge her'.
An insider told OK! magazine: 'Danniella feels that she's found her soulmate. Chasa doesn't judge her one bit and doesn't care what has happened in her past.
'He understands all about the issues she's been through but is supportive – he just wants to make her happy.
'She's really smitten and feels like she can trust him, which is a really big deal for her.'
News of her split comes after Danniella shared a worrying post on Instagram in June, admitting she 'hates herself' and 'doesn't have anymore battles left in her'.
The former EastEnders star was said to have uploaded a now-deleted video of herself crying as she expressed her fears of having an infection following her latest operation.
While she also told how she was forced to stay in the house for 'hours' because her boyfriend Chasa went to visit his child without leaving her a key, meaning she didn't have a means to let herself back inside.
Danniella's management team shared an update on the actress, revealing that she's 'great and thriving', noting that there's 'no worries'.
Taking to Instagram stories on Monday, talent agent RIB Entertainment shared a snap of the ex soap star, writing: 'Just a quick update for anyone wondering - our amazing client Danielle Westbrook is doing great and thriving!
'No worries, she's in a great place and shining as always. Thanks for all the love and support!' [sic]
They later shared a further update confirming Danniella had many 'exciting' things in the works, remarking: 'Big week ahead with Danielle - loads of exciting things in the pipeline! Can't wait to share it all with you.' [sic]

Meanwhile, another story shared by Danniella herself contained a quote which read: 'You can either shrink or you can rise. Think like a boss'.
The post was captioned with the message: 'Danniella sends her apologies and has gone away to rest and recover alone before she starts her new role in August.'
In the deleted video, viewed by Daily Mail, Danniella told how following her recent surgery, she wanted to stay in hospital because she was scared she'd contracted a serious infection.
Earlier this month, Danniella revealed she was getting her 'face rebuilt' as she headed into 'very long' surgery two years after admitting she hated the results of her last facial reconstruction.
As she sobbed to the camera, she told how she had applied a filter because she 'hates how she looks and hates herself'.
She then she said that her partner Chasa had come with her to the hospital and had been her 'knight in shining armour'.
The clip saw the TV personality then revealing she was not feeling well and needed to go back to the hospital, but Chasa was going to Croydon and couldn't take her.
After initially declaring that she'd instead get the tube, Danniella told how Chasa did take her in the end and stayed with her, with medics informing her that she had an infection.
Danniella explained that when she was home, Chasa went to take his kid out, with the star stating that if he was ill, she would have stayed with him.
She said that he left her in the house alone for hours and she couldn't go out as he wouldn't leave her a key and therefore, she could not get back in
The video then saw her break down again, saying she doesn't have 'anymore battles left In her'.
Danniella's team later confirmed that following her concerning posts, her social media accounts have been temporarily removed while she works on her mental health.

The actress' battle with drugs has been well-publicised, her nose was reconstructed after her septum collapsed from excessive cocaine use (left in 2009 and right in 2023)
Danniella has in the past undergone various reconstructive operations in a bid to fix her 'collapsing' face due to her previous cocaine addiction and osteoporosis.
In 2023, she admitted that she hated the results of the facial reconstruction she had that year, having up until that point waited seven years to find a surgeon willing to do the operation due to the condition of her septum.
At the start of May, Danniella dropped hints about her romance with retired professional welterweight boxer Chasa as she shared a video of the two larking around together, captioning her post: 'We like to laugh.'
The post was met with a plethora of comments from fans encouraging her potential new romance, with both Danniella and Chasa responding with red heart emojis.
Days later, the TV star hinted that the romance was getting serious on Instagram where she shared snaps from her Greek getaway with Chasa.
This was confirmed by Chasa himself, who wrote on Instagram: 'Sometimes that one friend is just too good to let go.'
They also shared loved-up, smiley snaps of the pair enjoying a coffee, captioning the post: 'Perfect end to the night ❤️ the pictures tell the story.'
Later during the holiday, Chasa confirmed to his Instagram followers that he had asked Danniella to be his girlfriend, with the Sam Mitchell star writing in the comments that it was the 'easiest yes I've ever said.'
They've since shared a plethora of romantic pictures and videos as they've continued to see each other, with the pair enjoying dates at the likes of Canvey Island and a safari.

Luke added: 'Of course, with any procedure like this, there is some minor swelling and flushing, but usually this is very tolerable and lasts around 48 hours; however this depends on the individual's skin type and condition and patients can resume their daily activity immediately. 'Patients begin to see improvements to their skin from around four weeks after treatment, but the settled results take between three and six months to show, with some people's results continuing to improve for up to 12 months. 'We often recommend checking in every 12 months to see if you require a repeat session, but I have some patients who can go two to three years maintaining their results from just a single session.' While EndoliftX is an FDA-approved procedure, it is crucial to ensure that the original EndoliftX device is used. Instances of counterfeit devices branded similarly to EndoliftX have been reported, and these have caused severe medical complications. It comes after Lord Sugar's adviser on the BBC TV show spoke exclusively to the Mail on Sunday on her weight loss journey, 'I have lost quite a bit,' she said as she showcased her slender frame while attending the Chain of Hope Gala held in London's Natural History Museum. But she insistsed her willowy figure is not a result of taking the new weight-loss drugs such as Ozempic but from 'bloody hard work'. I'm 23 and single – why are so many men looking for women my mother's age?
Last week, I found myself at a party chatting to a guy I desperately fancied. As our conversation danced from one subject to the next, he came out with the one thing you really don't want to hear from someone you're trying to flirt with: 'Your mum is so hot.' Hoping I could find my way out of this conversational cul-de-sac, I offered him another drink, commenting on the quality of the warm wine I was reluctantly consuming. But no – the topic of my 52-year-old mother and, yes, her undeniable good looks proceeded to be drawn out to such a painful extent, I was left with no choice but to ditch him, and abandon all hopes that this boy would ever become the love of my life. This is not an irregular occurrence – it happens depressingly frequently. Never have any of my male friends met my mother without soon making at least one of three comments: 'Your mum's so hot', 'Your father's so lucky' and 'Are you adopted?' I'm told that when people comment on your parent's appearance, it's a way of complimenting you – after all, you are just a product of their genes. Over time, I've learnt to distinguish between polite chit chat and a full-on 'Stacy's Mom' moment. When it comes to dating norms, my male friends' fondness for middle-aged women is no longer an exception. A 25-year-old friend told me that the guy she was seeing (who was already three years younger than her) had dumped her for someone in their late thirties – 'He's rejected me for a milf!' was how she worded it. It's not the age gap per se that's horrifying – it's that dating is hard enough as it is without now having to compete with a demographic of women far more romantically mature and confident than us. And it's not just hot midlifers who are swamping our dating pool: appearing on Radio 4's Broadcasting House on Sunday morning, veteran stage actress Sheila Hancock explained that, at 92, she won't be getting married for a third time, because 'I only want 18-year-old boys, and they're not going to be interested'. Don't count yourself out, Dame Sheila! When I asked a male friend what it was about older women that makes them so attractive, the only answer I got was 'because they're hot' – which is always the downside with young admirers: don't be expecting scintillating conversation. While I am left no closer to understanding the male psyche when it comes to dating across the generational divide, I am far more excited about reaching my forties. We have a few age-gap poster couples to cling to: Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, who is a decade older than him; actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson was around my age when he got married to film director Sam Taylor-Johnson, who is 23 years his senior. (Just don't mention the Macrons…) These days, developments in the wellness and beauty industry mean that one's youth need not fade with age, or at least quite so quickly. Whether it's surgical tweakment, out of a bottle or from lifestyle changes, the baton of beauty can be clung to by Boomers and Gen X-ers. With women ageing gracefully, young men can see all the perks of a middle-aged partner and none of the wrinkles. So where does this leave me? In a world where the dating pool is so slim I assumed that I at least had youth on my side. Turns out, even this is now a turn off. Do I keep looking, knowing that in a decade or so I might have more luck? Or maybe what's required is a change of tactics altogether. If older women are taking the men from my generation, should I be taking them from theirs?
