RedMagic 10S Pro+ surfaces on AnTuTu with Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Edition
The team at AnTuTu has discovered a new model, the RedMagic 10S Pro+ (NX789S_V2A), in its benchmark database. This is a follow-up to the RedMagic 10 Pro+, which used the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The new model also uses a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, though it is the overclocked version – the Prime cores run at up to 4.47GHz, up from 4.32GHz on the 10 Pro+. This is the same clock speed as the 'for Galaxy' version of the chip, but uses different branding for obvious reasons (usually labeled 'Leading Edition'). The Honor GT Pro is the only non-Samsung phone to use this version of the 8 Elite so far.
AnTuTu scorecard for RedMagic 10S Pro+
The RedMagic 10S Pro+ was equipped with 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. That matches the top-specced versions of the 10 Pro/10 Pro+. The refresh rate of the display was 144Hz.
There will be a RedMagic 10S Pro (non-plus) as well – the new S-models will be unveiled on May 26 (Monday) and will be available for pre-order from JD the same day.

iQOO 15 screen and camera specs tipped
The iQOO 13 was among the first phones to launch with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite when it made its debut in late October of last year and expectations are that its successor will launch around the same time this fall. Digital Chat Station went ahead and shared some preliminary specs for the device, which will apparently be called iQOO 15. As per the post, the iQOO 15 will feature a Samsung-made 6.85-inch "2K" display. This is most likely an LTPO AMOLED panel, and the tipster suggests that it will utilize the LIPO (low injection pressure overmolding) display packing process, which helps reduce display bezels. Aside from the fancy new display, iQOO 15 is expected to offer a periscope camera module, which would be an upgrade from the 2x telephoto found on its predecessor. Previous rumors also suggest a 7,000mAh battery. vivo iQOO 13 Source (in Chinese) | Via

Huawei tipped to make 3nm chips in 2026
Huawei is developing a true 5 nm production line without the need for EUV lithography machines. Furthermore, 3 nm chips are already in the R&D stage, with plans to start production by 2026, according to a report by UDN. Huawei cannot use standard EUV technology, as it is patented by the Dutch company ASML, which is banned from working with the Chinese manufacturer. Instead, the company is using SSA800 lithography machines with multi-patterning, made by Shanghai Micro Electronics (SMEE). Research and development for 3nm chips are following two approaches: one is GAA architecture (the standard one, used by TSMC and Samsung), and the other is a carbon nanotube-based chip that has already completed lab validation and is now being adapted for SMIC's production lines. Earlier this month, the Huawei Matebook Fold arrived, powered by Kirin X90. While the company calls it a "5nm chip," it is actually a 7nm design with advanced packaging technology. It brings performance on par with other 5 nm chips, but the yield is only 50%, which is extremely low, making the chip more expensive to manufacture. Source
