Caught in 4K: Netizens React To Mysterious Search History 'Leak' On KL Billboard
Whether we like to admit it or not, our internet search history has become an absolute safekeeping that would leak some pretty embarrassing things about ourselves. From searching about weird topics or stalking a random celebrity, we'd rather keep those enquiries private.
However, from 13th to 14th May 2025, commuters on the LDP highway were met with a peculiar sight of someone's search history flashed on a massive digital billboard for all to see. The search history was what we can describe as very human queries, sparking netizens to wonder what would appear next.
Instead of the usual advertisements, the search history pop-up was framed to look like an error message, which had some interesting and mildly concerning queries. As shown in photos, the anonymous 'user' was looking for answers to, 'Who is M Nasir?', 'Is pickleball overrated?', 'Can I play Hauntu alone?', 'What does cat food taste like?' 'What's the main attraction of Sabah?', and 'Why (is my) body itchy after thrifting?'.
Netizens were quick to share their sightings of the billboard on social media, with some speculating what this showcase might be. While other users ponder over those interesting queries, such as Twitter user @Angelinebabyyy commenting, 'Who in their right mind wakes up and wonders what cat food tastes like?', TikTok user @/hafizkodin speculates that this might be an ad for the upcoming 'Ejen Ali 2' movie.
Hauntu Malaysia also spotted the sighting and posted on their Twitter with the caption, 'Spotted this billboard this morning. Someone was definitely having Tuesday blues, but for real though, who dares to go Hauntu alone? And who in Malaysia doesn't know M Nasir??'. Is this a new marketing gimmick for brands, or is this just an honest glitch?

Saidah Kamarudin cancels wedding, claims ex has only RM500 in his bank account
Malaysian actress Saidah Kamarudin called off her wedding with fellow actor Muhammad Muntazar Ghufran in October 2024. Photos: Saidah Kamarudin/Instagram, mStar Malaysian actress Saidah Kamarudin has opened up about the reason behind her decision to end her engagement to fellow actor Muhammad Muntazar Ghufran in October last year. The former couple got engaged in May 2024, after a year of dating. In a recent interview with mStar, The Star 's Malay-language news portal, Saidah, 29, cited financial instability as one of the main reasons she called off her wedding. According to her, Muntazar, 22, had only RM500 in his bank account. 'How can you take care of someone with that amount? You shouldn't be marrying. You should be looking for a job or continuing your studies,' she lamented. The actress further alleged that after the breakup, Muntazar hacked into her TikTok account and posted fake comments under her name to damage her reputation. One of the comments reportedly said she had not moved on from the split and was also taking pills due to stress. It's understood that Saidah filed a report at the Setia Alam police station in Shah Alam, Selangor, on May 31. 'When Muntazar and I were still together, we'd share the passwords to our social media accounts. After we broke up, I changed my passwords and removed all access. 'He wasn't like this before and only began showing his true colours after the split,' she added. Meanwhile, Muntazar has refuted Saidah's claims that he couldn't afford to proceed with their wedding. In a separate interview with mStar, the actor said he has additional funds invested in unit trusts. 'I already told Saidah about it, but she told me that's investment savings and not actual money. 'If it's true that I have only RM500 in savings, how is it possible for me to pay close to RM1,000 monthly for my car while also giving my family around RM1,000?" he questioned.

Malaysian entrepreneur apologises for spending ‘only' RM1mil on daughter's 11th birthday
Farhana Zahra (left) also gave her 11-year-old daughter an Apple computer, a Rolex watch and a Toyota Vellfire multi-purpose vehicle. - Photos: Screengrabs from Farhanazahra91/ TikTok KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian entrepreneur has come under fire after revealing that she spent RM1 million to throw a lavish birthday for her 11-year-old daughter, and apologised for not spending more. Besides a celebration that featured balloons and cakes, Farhana Zahra, who runs a beauty and dietary supplement business, also gave her daughter extravagant gifts. Among them were an Apple computer, a Rolex watch, and a Toyota Vellfire multi-purpose vehicle. 'Forgive mama, this is all I could afford to give you. I only spent RM1 million for this birthday,' she posted in a June 3 TikTok video, which has since gone viral with over 2.2 million views. She also wished that her daughter's dream of becoming a businesswoman would come true. The video opens with her, her husband and three daughters all dressed in matching black outfits descending a grand staircase. They step onto a stage outside the house where they and the assembled guests sing Happy Birthday to her eldest daughter, whom she called Yaya, before the unveiling of the gifts. Farhana said Yaya's wishes are granted on an almost daily basis, leaving her unsure of what else to give the little girl, adding that she hoped the 'little gifts' would make her happy. The video and Farhana's use of the word 'only' to describe the amount she spent, did not go down well with netizens, who accused her of flaunting her wealth and trying to gain attention. 'Not to be rude, but trying very hard to show off,' a netizen with the handle Aiman said. Another netizen, Mono, said: 'That's not the right way to raise a daughter... I think you're overreacting and trying too hard.' Others noted the impracticality of the gifts, especially the car, as the girl is still too young to drive. '(I) need to know the logic of giving cars to a child... They can't even drive, no they're not even going to drive knowing they can afford (to hire) drivers,' said a netizen with the handle Njwa. In another follow-up video, Farhana also surprised her child's former driver with a luxury car as a token of appreciation. - The Straits Times/ANN
