After reports emerged that Priyanka Jagga Muise is entering 'Bigg Boss 19', a source clarified that she is not entering the Salman Khan-hosted show. The rumours erupted after Jagga had posted on Facebook about being approached for the latest season of the show. However, sources close to the show exclusively confirmed to India Today that it's untrue.Neither the actor has been approached, nor will she be seen on the show."Firstly, ex-contestants rarely get a chance to get back into competition. Also, given how Priyanka Jagga's stint transpired in season 10, she will not be approached again. So all the buzz around her participation is absolutely untrue," the source told us.advertisementFor fans of the show, Jagga was kicked out by Salman Khan mid-season after they got into loggerheads during the Weekend Ka Vaar. Her behaviour with fellow housemates had also led to the host getting enraged.
On Tuesday, Priyanka Jagga took to Facebook to share that the makers had reached out to her with the offer to be a part of the show again. "10 years ago, I was part of a show called Bigg Boss. It changed my life – but not all of it was easy. I had a fight with the host, Salman Khan. And I walked away. From the show. From the glam world. From the noise. But now, out of the blue... Bigg Boss has called again. Yes-this season. They want me back," she wrote.Starting August 24, the popular captive reality show will stream on JioHotstar and also air an hour-long episode on Colors TV.- Ends
