Lisa ranks second in EMV – Thailand's global icon stuns at Coachella 2025
Coachella 2025 had it all – viral moments, surprise guests, and enough star power to crash the internet. Lisa Lalisa Manobal, global pop sensation and member of BLACKPINK, has once again proven her status as a powerhouse performer, claiming the number two spot in earned media value (EMV) during Coachella 2025.
According to influencer analytics platform Lefty.io, Lisa generated an impressive $9.5 million (approx. B350 million) in EMV, placing just behind fellow BLACKPINK member Jennie, who topped the chart at $13 million (approx. B480 million) following her solo debut performance of Ruby. Also in the top five EMV rankings were Enhypen at number three with $9.3 million (approx. B342 million), Benson Boone with $6.7 million (approximately B247 million), and Travis Scott with $5 million (approx. B183 million).
Held across two weekends in California's Colorado Desert, this year's Coachella lineup was brimming with global stars – from Lady Gaga to Travis Scott and Post Malone. But it was Lisa's electrifying presence on the Sahara Stage that sparked a global buzz online, with fans and fashion insiders praising her powerful performance and genre-defying looks.
Lisa's Coachella 2025 appearance marked her return as a solo artist, with two sets across both weekends. Her week one performance hit the Sahara tent and quickly became one of the most talked-about highlights of the festival, breaking into Coachella's Top 10 most-viewed videos of all time on YouTube. But she didn't stop there. On 19 April (Thailand time), Lisa took the stage once more for a 55-minute set that brought her Alter Ego album concept to life. Performing under five personas – Roxi, Kiki, Vixi, Sunni, and Speedi – Lisa delivered a high-octane showcase divided into five sub-acts, each with distinct visual themes. Rounding out her fashion moments was a custom Off-White mini skirt and corset, covered in crystals and styled with a playful varsity twist. With Coachella 2025 in the rearview mirror, one thing's clear – Lisa isn't just riding the global wave; she's the one making it.

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video There's a tough week ahead for Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) in Coronation Street next week, as she faces Craig Tinker's memorial service – but there's more trouble on the cards. As she and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) admit how difficult the event will be, with Kit revealing that the family have asked him to make a speech, Carla Connor (Alison King) confides in Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) that she's worried about Lisa. In a bid to help Lisa take her mind off things, Carla comes up with a plan. As the day of Craig's memorial service arrives, Lisa apologises to Carla, before setting about distracting herself by going through some old files. However, when Betsy comes snooping and tries to take a peek at one of the files, Lisa snatches it from her, leaving the curious teen intrigued. Desperate to know what her mum was so keen to hide, Betsy confronts Lisa, who is quick to lie. She tells Betsy that the file contains information about Betsy's paternity, and that she can't see it until she turns 18. When Lisa arrives at the memorial service and notices Kit's absence, she is worried, but soon steps up in his place to deliver a moving speech for Craig. Meanwhile, Betsy clearly wants to know more about her mysterious findings, as Carla later returns home and catches her going through Lisa's files – but what exactly has she dug up? When Betsy shows a picture of the letter she's found to Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton), she reveals that she intends to get to the bottom of it… When we caught up with actresses Cait and Sydney at the British Soap Awards, Cait shared her reaction to the twists in this story, saying: 'I was tired reading it!' 'There is a lot of drama coming up!' Sydney agreed, continuing: 'I'm intrigued for people to see it!' When Lisa asks Betsy to join her for lunch the next day, Betsy makes out that she's meeting Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne), who has recently been released from the STC. However, that proves to be a lie when she and Lauren enter the prison visiting room. As Betsy admits that she's a nervous wreck, is she set to make a deal with the devil? Meanwhile, Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) drops her right in it when he lets slip to Lisa and Carla that Betsy ordered a cab to Highfield Prison. How will they react? As dramatic as this story is set to be, both Sydney Martin and Vicky Myers promised moments of light. 'I don't know how much we can say but there's some exciting stuff coming up,' Sydney promised. 'There's also some really sweet, important scenes in there. I can't go into detail, but I'm glad that they're airing.' More Trending Later in the evening, Vicky told us that 'there is a lot' still to come. Coachella in legal row with tiny Welsh festival over its name
Coachella in legal row with tiny Welsh festival over its name H from Steps says it is 'mindblowing' that Coachella has forced his small Welsh festival into a name change - but says he will take it as a 'massive compliment' Steps star Ian H Watkins said he couldn't believe the complaint from Coachella was real (Image: PA ) Steps band member Ian H Watkins expressed astonishment after his modest Welsh event, Cowchella in Cowbridge, was compelled to alter its name due to pressure from the behemoth California based music festival Coachella. The local festival's social media presence vanished and its Eventbrite ticket page lost its original moniker following a dispute that Watkins told the PA news agency originated from Coachella Ltd, the company behind the huge American music festival. By Sunday the event had re-emerged under the new banner of Moo-La-La Festival which will be hosted by Watkins alongside actress Claire Sweeney and BBC Radio 2 presenter Owain Wyn Evans. In a new update the original Cowchella festival announced its "fab new name" assuring that tickets already purchased would be honoured for the debut gathering set for August. Watkins said he was initially shocked when he received notice of the warning from Coachella, believing their social media accounts had been hacked before encountering an "official complaint from Coachella". Watkins was philosophical about it, seeing the complaint as a flattering acknowledgment of Cowchella's potential. He said: "I'm taking it as a massive compliment that they feel like our little festival is a little bit of a threat to their ginormous, juggernaut of a machine." But he said he couldn't believe they received the complaint in the first place. "It's a little bit we're doing is very, very different to what they do. Article continues below "We don't have Beyoncé performing. We have a Steps tribute act... and also, they don't have myself, Claire Sweeney and Owain Wyn Evans, hosting, which in my book, is much better than Beyoncé." He expressed his delight that the event has become a "talking point" and that people "love that Coachella has put Cowbridge on the map" while also admitting that "luckily, it wasn't like, the week before because that would be the disaster". Watkins conceded that the thousands of pounds spent on "marketing costs, posters and banners" will be "a financial impact that we have to absorb". "We've spent a lot of money on marketing and flyers and posters and banners that are all visible around the town. So yes, those will have to go in the bin... but let's just do that, rather than have any more people knocking on our door." Many festivals adopt similar names including the Welsh event GlastonBarry, which is a play on Glastonbury in Somerset, and hasn't faced the same issues. The Cowbridge festival, which Watkins said would feature "the number one tribute acts in the country", will continue as planned on Saturday, August 2 at Bear Field. Article continues below
