Throwing heinous objects onto the court at WNBA games has become a trend recently. However, the suspects didn't get far and were arrested for it. In a similar set of events, a second person had been arrested for throwing a d**do onto the courtside.
The object did not directly reach the court, but hit a man who came to watch the WNBA match with his 9-year-old niece. The person, later revealed to be Kaden Lopez, 18, was arrested for this barbaric incident.
What's even more surprising was when this person was interviewed. Although he had apologized for this inhumane behavior, however, he made sure to address the media with something that sparked heated debate among everyone out there.
He referred to this incident as a 'stupid prank', which had created discontent among the audience and the people of the league.
Kaden Lopez had been arrested for allegedly throwing a d**do at a WNBA Game
This is not the first time that a s*x object has been thrown, aimed at the courtside at a WNBA game. A green d**do was aimed at the court earlier during a match between the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream on July 29. A similar incident had taken place, making it the 5th known incident so far.

The man, later identified as Kaden Lopez, was arrested and booked into jail for suspicion of disorderly conduct, assault, and public display of explicit se**al material. A court document read, 'Video footage shows Lopez, sitting in his seat, he retrieves the green dildo from his sweater front pocket then throws the dildo forward. He then stands up and leaves the area'.

The heinous incident took place at the WNBA Game, and it isn't an isolated case.
The game was between the Phoenix Mercury and the Connecticut Suns. Although the object did not reach the court, it hit a man who went to watch the match with his 9-year-old niece, and then it struck the ground next to him. The suspect, Kaden Lopez, later apologized for his immature behavior and defended in this regard as 'a stupid prank that was trending on social media.
"
The Los Angeles Sparks coach, Lynne Roberts, also reacted to this malevolent incident and said, 'It's ridiculous.
It's dumb. It's stupid. It's also dangerous, and you know, player safety is No. 1, respecting the game, all those things. I think it's really stupid."
A similar incident had taken place during the Valkyries-Dream game
On July 29, the first incident had taken place, whereby a person allegedly threw a green d**do on the courtside. The game was immediately stopped, following a tough speculation. The object was removed instantly, and the game was resumed. However, similar incidents took place most frequently and haven't stopped since. The very recent incident of Kaden Lopez marks the 5th incident in the history of the WNBA.

'That was my mistake': Rohit Sharma's childhood coach shares how he discovered the batter inside future India captain

Rohit Sharma (AFP Photo) NEW DELHI: India's ODI captain Rohit Sharma 's journey to becoming one of modern cricket's most destructive openers almost took a very different path. His childhood coach, Dinesh Lad, has revealed that he first spotted Rohit not with a bat in hand, but as a promising off-spinner — and only discovered his batting talent by chance, much later. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! Speaking on a YouTube podcast with Gaurav Manglani, Lad recalled: 'I first saw him as a bowler, he was about 12 years old. I saw him playing a match against us. Then I told his uncle (Chacha) to get him admitted to my school. The school started in 1995, and I saw Rohit in 1999. He took admission that year. In the first year, he was in under 14. During practice, I kept making him bowl. Next year, Rohit went to 8th standard and was 14 years old. ' Poll What do you think was the key factor in Rohit Sharma's success as a cricketer? Natural talent Coaching and guidance Hard work and determination Opportunities to showcase skills The turning point came unexpectedly. 'One day, while entering the school, I saw a boy knocking (batting). From outside, I saw the bat was coming very straight and good. I didn't know it was Rohit at first. When I went inside, I asked him if he was batting. He said yes, sir. Then I gave him some batting in the nets at number six or seven. Before that, I had never given him batting practice. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Certificate in Technology MIT-TLIP Apply Now Undo That was my mistake,' Lad admitted. Rohit soon proved his worth with the bat. 'He batted well. In a match, he went in at number seven and scored 40 runs — a very good 40. The way he was batting, I felt he had a very good talent for batting. A thought came to my mind: it would be good to make him open. He was very happy when I asked, and scored 140 runs as an opener. That's when I knew he should focus more on batting.' The rest, as they say, is history — with Rohit Sharma going on to become one of the finest opening batters of his era, famed for his elegance, timing, and unmatched pull shot. Cincinnati Open 2025: Jannik Sinner crushes Daniel Elahi Galan, secures his quickest win of the season

It was the world No. 1's quickest win of the season and his first match since lifting the Wimbledon trophy last month. "Matches are always different than practice, so I didn't know what to expect,' Sinner said after improving his ATP Head2Head record against Galan to 3-0. 'But I'm very happy. The ball flies here—you have to serve precisely, with good pace.' Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! The 23-year-old Italian, sporting a sleeve on his right arm after a fall at Wimbledon, showed no signs of discomfort. He took control from the start, winning 13 of 14 first-serve points in the opening set and striking seven winners to just five unforced errors, according to ATP Stats. In the second set, Sinner mixed his trademark power with deft touches, thrilling the Cincinnati crowd with a disguised drop shot in the third game and wrapping up the match with clinical precision. "I served where I wanted today,' he added. 'There's still room to improve, but I couldn't have asked for more,' said Sinner, as quoted by IANS. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Brain tumor has left my son feeling miserable; please help! He is also now on a 22-match hard-court winning streak, a run that includes titles at the US Open, Nitto ATP Finals, and Australian Open. Poll Do you think Jannik Sinner can successfully defend his Cincinnati Open title? Yes, definitely No, I don't think so With Carlos Alcaraz still leading the PIF ATP Live Race To Turin, Sinner is chasing more than just another Masters 1000 crown. A successful title defence would put him among elite company, given no man has gone back-to-back in Cincinnati since Roger Federer in 2014-15. AYSF's expanding footprint and leadership evolution The Asian Yogasana Sports Federation (AYSF), the governing body for yogasana sport in Asia, was officially established in 2019, following decades of foundational work led by founders Dr. Gopal Ji and Shri Ramesh Lohan since 1992. Today, AYSF comprises over 15 national yoga federations, including from Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Nepal, Iran, and Indonesia. A landmark development occurred in November 2024, when AYSF held its 6th General Assembly in Dubai. During the assembly: Nouf Al-Marwaai, head of the Saudi Yoga Committee, was elected President of AYSF. The AYSF international headquarters was officially relocated to the UAE. The Federation launched its inaugural Asian Excellence Award Ceremony during this assembly. Fifteen national federations participated, reaffirming regional collaboration in yoga sport. These decisions have strategically positioned the UAE as a key player in the global yogasana movement, fostering partnerships, youth engagement, and intercontinental exchange. Strengthening the sport: Training and certification initiatives In line with AYSF's mission to elevate standards and build elite-level capacity across Asia, Africa, and the Arab world, the 2nd AYSF Yogasana Coaches and Referees Training Camp was hosted in Dubai from 16th to 18th May 2025 at the UAE Centre for Sports Sciences and Sports Medicine. Led by expert trainers from India, the birthplace of yoga, the training ensured rigorous instruction and professional excellence for national-level officiating and coaching. Recognising excellence and legacy in Yogasana Parallel to the two-day championship, the Asian Yoga Excellence Awards ceremony is taking place, honouring six prominent individuals from across Asia who have played key roles in advancing yoga within their communities and contributing to global wellness, peace, and cultural preservation. Nominations closed on 30th May 2025, and recipients are being selected by an international panel of experts to ensure merit-based recognition in fields such as innovation, leadership, youth empowerment, and international cooperation. AYSF also continues to celebrate its legacy moments. Notably, the first-ever Asian Yogasana Sports Championship was held on 26–27 July 2019 in Dhaka, where Indian athletes won the inaugural trophy with a remarkable haul of 22 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze medals. This milestone event was organised by the Bangladesh Yogasana Association under the authority of the Global Yoga Alliance.
