JD Wetherspoon bringing back Brunch Burger for limited time
It has made several brief appearances since then and is returning to menus again in 2025.
But you'll have to be quick, as it will only be available for three days.

Wetherspoon's Brunch Burger features a 100% British beef patty (6oz), American-style cheese, maple-cured bacon, fried free-range egg and topped with a hash brown made from 100% British potato.
The meal includes chips, six beer-battered onion rings and a drink and will cost up to £9.99 (with a soft drink) and £11.52 (with an alcoholic drink).
Wetherspoon customers label Brunch Burger the 'best ever'
Wetherspoon's Brunch Burger has received high praise over the years, being described as "the best ever".
One person, posting on X (formerly Twitter), said: "Brunch burger is the best."
Another added: "Brunch burger: best burger ever!!!"

When will the Brunch Burger be back at Wetherspoons?
The Brunch Burger will return to Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and the Republic of Ireland for one weekend only.
The burger will be available on Father's Day weekend - Friday, June 13 to Sunday, June 15.
Recent changes to Wetherspoon menus
The return of the Brunch Burger is not the only change made to Wetherspoon menus recently.
In May, the pub chain introduced four new gourmet burgers to its menu:

There have also been various other additions to the pizza, small plates and pub classic ranges at Wetherspoon pubs across the UK.
But it's not all been good news for customers, with several menu items axed by Wetherspoons last month.

Potato Caesar tart
The nice thing about this tart, I think, is its versatility. You could take it on a picnic, you could have it alongside a roast chicken or some barbecued lamb, you could cut it into dainty squares and serve it with drinks if you're hosting. If you're cooking for one, you could make it on Sunday, have a slice and then let the leftovers see you through the following week's lunches. I like it with some little gem, quartered, griddled and then drizzled with a little more dressing and covered in a cloud of finely grated Parmesan. Ingredients 1 x 320g pack ready rolled all-butter puff pastry 2 large eggs, beaten 400g baby new potatoes 10 anchovies, plus 1 tbsp oil from the tin 2 garlic cloves, peeled 60g grated Parmesan, plus extra for serving 1 tbsp cider vinegar 1 tsp Dijon mustard 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for frying Juice of ½ lemon 2 little gem lettuce, roots trimmed (plus extra for serving) Method Step Preheat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas mark 7. Step Line a baking sheet with baking parchment. Unroll 320g pack ready rolled all-butter puff pastry and lay it on the sheet. Using a small sharp knife, score a border roughly 3cm wide around the edge, taking care not to cut through the pastry. Step Use a fork to prick the pastry everywhere apart from the border. Step Brush the pastry all over with 1 beaten egg. Step Bake for 12 minutes, then rotate the sheet 180 degrees and cook for another 2 minutes. Pull out of the oven and leave to cool for 10 minutes. Step Meanwhile, finely slice 400g baby new potatoes (use a mandolin if you have one) and put them in a bowl with the oil from the anchovy tin. Step Arrange the potatoes over the puff pastry. Don't worry too much about neatness here, but do make sure you have a roughly even layer. Step Put the tart back in the oven and bake for another 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are cooked and the whole thing is a deep golden brown. Leave to cool for 10 minutes (or you can let it cool completely). Step Meanwhile, make the dressing. Put 4 anchovies, 2 peeled garlic cloves, 60g grated Parmesan, the second egg, 1 tbsp cider vinegar, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil and the juice of ½ lemon in a small food processor or blender. Season with black pepper and blend until smooth. This can sit in the fridge if you're not eating until later. Step Cut 2 little gem lettuce into about 6 wedges. Set a large frying pan over a medium heat with a splash of olive oil. Add the lettuce cut side down and fry for about 1 minute, turning once the cut edges have browned.

The exceptionally well-preserved artefact bears a Hebrew inscription and even a visible fingerprint that could belong to the owner. If true, this links Asayahu to a dramatic moment in the biblical account of King Josiah of Judah, who reigned over Jerusalem for 31 years. According to the Hebrew Bible, a scroll dubbed the "Book of the Law" was rediscovered during King Josiah's time which warned of people's sins and impending divine punishment from God. Those who disobey would be cursed with drought, famine, defeat by enemies and other forms of devastating punishment. It was uncovered in the Solomon's Temple which was undergoing repairs in the late First Temple period - between the late 7th and early 6th century BC - after damage by the Babylonians. Workers stumbled across the ancient scroll, known as Sefer haTorah, and immediately alerted the King. A shaken King Josiah is said to have torn his clothes in fear, before enforcing major religious reforms across the land as a result. A group of trusted officials were urgently sent off to purge pagan practices from Jerusalem, destroying altars, idols, and shrines. And one of those among them was called Asayahu, described as "the king's servant" - the same name cited on the seal. "Obviously, we are not sure that the Asayahu mentioned on the sealing is the same that appears in the Bible," Archaeologist Zachi Dvira told The Times of Israel. Other factors that make it highly plausible is due to the fact seals like these were reserved for officials of high rank. The object, known as a bulla, was probably used to seal a bag or storage container according to experts. WHAT HAPPENED YEARS AFTER THE SCROLL WAS FOUND? Interestingly, Jerusalem was invaded a few decades after the Sefer haTorah doomsday scroll's discovery. The temple where it was found was destroyed after Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar and his army breached the city's walls amid a series of campaigns. Many died from famine as the city was cut off from outside supplies and deadly diseases spread. The King at the time, King Zedekiah - son of King Josiah - attempted to escape the city but was captured. He was forced to watch the execution of his sons before being thrown into prison, where he remained until his death.
