Rushil Decor Limited (NSE: RUSHIL, BSE: 533470), a key player in India's interior infrastructure space, has announced its financial results for FY2025 along with plans to expand its manufacturing capabilities. The company posted a consolidated revenue of ₹8,979 million, reflecting a 6.4% year-on-year growth. Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at ₹479 million, up 11.1% from the previous fiscal, driven by export-led growth, operational efficiencies, and a wider value-added product mix.
In line with its strategic growth plans, Rushil Décor aims to complete Phase 2 of its Jumbo Laminate manufacturing facility in Gandhinagar, Gujarat by the third quarter of FY26. Once both phases are fully operational, the plant will add 2.8 million sheets annually (assuming 1 mm, single-side decorative laminate), with a focus on export markets including the USA and Europe.
The combined capacity from Phase 1 and 2 is expected to generate additional annual revenues of approximately ₹300 crore, with an estimated EBITDA margin of around 11%. The company has already secured export orders for 15% of Phase 1's capacity and is steadily ramping up production.
This expansion underscores Rushil Décor's commitment to strengthening its global presence and meeting the increasing demand for premium laminate products across international markets.

US President Donald Trump slams wind and solar energy, calls them ‘scam of the century'

By News Desk Published on August 20, 2025, 19:41 IST U.S. President Donald Trump, who is serving his second non-consecutive term as the 47th President after first holding office as the 45th, has once again taken aim at renewable energy, labeling windmills and solar power as the 'scam of the century.' In a Truth Social post on Monday, August 20, 2025, Trump claimed that states relying on wind and solar are facing 'record-breaking increases in electricity and energy costs.' 'We will not approve wind or farmer-destroying Solar. The days of stupidity are over in the USA!!! MAGA,' Trump wrote, emphasizing his opposition to federal approval of large-scale renewable projects. He also suggested that renewable energy sources are contributing to rising energy bills, without providing supporting evidence. The post, made at 7:21 PM ET, quickly drew attention, garnering over 933 re-truths and 3,000 likes within hours. Trump's statement reflects his long-standing criticism of renewable energy, a position that contrasts with clean energy advocates and industry leaders who argue that solar and wind are vital for reducing carbon emissions and securing long-term energy stability. The remarks also come at a time when U.S. energy policy remains a contentious issue, with climate change, household electricity costs, and energy independence at the forefront of political debate heading into the 2026 midterm elections.
