Ovarian cysts are common; the Mayo Clinic states that "many women have ovarian cysts at some time," and most "present little or no discomfort and are harmless."
However, large or ruptured cysts "can cause serious symptoms," including severe pelvic pain and bleeding, fullness or heaviness in the abdomen and bloating. In rare cases, a ruptured ovarian cyst may require surgery.
Cyrus is one of many celebrities who have revealed their painful experiences with ovarian cysts. Other stars include Hailey Bieber, Marsai Martin, Kate Beckinsale, Hilary Swank, Lena Dunham, Olivia Culpo and more.

Seven months after the couple confirmed they were in a relationship by holding hands on their way to dinner in Santa Monica, California, a source tells PEOPLE that they are "going strong" and have built a "good foundation." The insider adds that Jackman, 56, and Foster, 50, were spotted holding hands at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, Massachusetts, last month, and he was 'excited' to support her "One Night Only" performance at nearby Tanglewood Music Center, alongside Kelli O'Hara. While the former Music Man costars are rarely seen out and about together, they were spotted walking hand-in-hand in New York City back in May, while Jackman was starring in the Off-Broadway play Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Class. Following their Jan. 6 dinner date in Santa Monica — which came two days after Jackman attended Foster's play Once Upon a Mattress in Los Angeles — she later supported him at the opening night of his From New York, with Love show in N.Y.C on Jan. 24. The pair's romance came after they both went through divorces. Jackman separated from his now-ex-wife of 27 years, Deborra-lee Furness, in September 2023, while Foster filed for divorce from her now-ex-husband, Ted Griffin, in October 2024. Foster and Jackman first became friends in the early 2000s, while both planting roots in different Broadway musicals. The pair supported each other's careers for years before finally working together. In 2019, they were announced as the leads in the Broadway revival of The Music Man. However, due to COVID delays, they didn't actually start performing together until 2022. Back in 2022, Foster told PEOPLE of her bond with Jackman, "The best thing that's happened out of this whole thing is that I've made a new friend, which you never anticipate." "We always joke that after 40, you don't really make new friends!" she added. "He's a dream and so kind and talented and is even more generous. He's pretty fantastic." That same year, Jackman admitted on Late Night with Seth Meyers that he was initially intimidated to work with Foster after her years on Broadway, as he's "watched everything she's done and it's amazing." Foster chimed in to call the entire production of The Music Man "so joyful," and added that she's "having the time of my life playing opposite this guy." Read the original article on People

Why Chubby Checker is Skipping His Own Rock Hall Induction Ceremony

Source: Bill McCay / Getty Chubby Checker, the legendary musician behind the iconic hit 'The Twist,' has made headlines for his decision to skip his long-awaited induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. After nearly 40 years of eligibility, the 83-year-old artist is finally being honored, but he has chosen to prioritize his fans and his passion for live performances over attending the ceremony. At a recent concert, Checker revealed his reasoning, stating that he would rather perform for a live audience than appear on television for the induction. 'I told my manager, 'Make sure when we go to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the induction, that I'm doing what I love doing the most: Being in front of an audience. A live audience, not a television audience,'' he explained, according to PEOPLE. True to his word, Checker scheduled a show on the same day as the ceremony, emphasizing his commitment to his fans and his craft. Checker also expressed a desire to challenge perceptions about his career and vitality. He noted that some might view his induction as a sign of retirement or decline, but he wanted to prove otherwise. 'Let's be doing a show like I'm doing today to show I'm alive and well, and the audience is wonderful,' he said. We care about your data. See our privacy policy. Although he won't attend the official event in Los Angeles on November 8, Checker staged his own Rock & Roll Hall of Fame celebration during a concert in Des Plaines, Illinois. In a heartfelt moment captured on video, he accepted an award and delivered a speech, thanking his fans and peers for their support. 'The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I thank you for making me a member of the family,' he said, adding that the honor has illuminated his life. Chubby Checker's decision to skip the ceremony underscores his unwavering dedication to his fans and his love for live music. Known for hits like 'The Twist,' 'The Fly,' and 'The Hucklebuck,' Checker has been a trailblazer in the music industry, and his influence is undeniable. His induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a testament to his enduring impact, even if he won't be there in person to accept the honor. Checker joins a list of notable artists who have opted out of attending their inductions, including Paul McCartney and Axl Rose. His choice reflects his unique perspective on what truly matters in his career: connecting with his audience and continuing to do what he loves most—performing. Reese Witherspoon gets honest about raising kids while working in Hollywood

Reese Witherspoon is keeping it real when talking about her role as a working mom in Hollywood. The 49-year-old 'Cruel Intentions' actress shares two kids — daughter Ava Phillippe, 25, and son Deacon Phillippe, 21 — with her former co-star Ryan Phillippe, according to People. She's also a mom to 12-year-old son Tennessee James Toth, whom she shares with ex-husband Jim Toth. On Aug. 14, Witherspoon took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos of her and her kids while opening up about the reality of 'what raising three kids and building a career in Hollywood looked like.' Her candid memories included 'spending a lot of time in trailers together' and 'always being on the road together.' She also praised her kids for 'constantly giving me career advice,' which included a screenshot of Deacon notifying her that she 'butt-dialed an Instagram live' in a text message. But by the fifth slide, she started to detail some of the not-so-good memories — and how she learned to overcome them. 'It looked really hard sometimes. I'd cry working 14 to 17 hours, sometimes all night long and still woke up early for carpool,' she wrote of her work-life balance. 'I was deliriously tired.' She also shared that she would often 'say something positive about work' in hopes that her kids would see that her work was meaningful and fun. 'In conclusion, even though it was challenging at times, having kids gave me perspective about what was important in life,' she wrote in the final slide. 'Nothing was better than getting to come home and hug them and hear about their day,' she added. She further described it as a 'beautiful, messy journey' in the caption — adding that she feels 'grateful to stand alongside' other working moms. Many of Witherspoon's fans took to the comment section to praise the actress for being honest about her experience as a working mom. 'Proof that whether you're a famous actress, or an office manager (like me) working moms are more alike than we are different,' one fan wrote. 'You were bringing home the bacon and raising two beautiful children. Doing it all. I call that a mighty strong woman,' another fan commented. On the flip side, other followers were hesitant to label Witherspoon a true working mom. 'I am a huge fan of Reese. But, she cannot compare herself to the average working Mom. She has a housekeeper, a chef, a Gardner etc,' one fan argued. 'The average Mom has to go home and complete these tasks and take care of the kids. No Comparison,' the fan continued. 'You had the privilege of bringing them into your world while at work while most working mothers do not have that privilege,' another fan wrote. 'I'm not saying you weren't tired or didn't have guilt over working but your life is VERY different from a lot of mothers,' her follower continued. Witherspoon started her career as a teenager and received her breakthrough in 1999 when she starred in 'Cruel Intentions' alongside then-husband Phillippe. The pair welcomed daughter Ava that same year, per ABC News, followed by son Deacon in 2003. Both Ava and Deacon have since followed in their parents' footsteps. Reese Witherspoon's third child didn't come until nine years later when she and then-husband Jim Toth welcomed son Tennessee, per the outlet.
