In total 9,339 contacted Ofcom with their concerns.
While 298 complaints related to the way Blu spoke to Toni and 55 complaints were about Megan returning to the villa.
There were also 29 complaints related to concerns for Harry after seeing him upset following his breakup with Helena and disclosing his feelings for Shakira.
But the majority came from viewers who were left furious at the way Shakira had been treated by some of her fellow Islanders.
It's now the second most complained about Love Island week in history - the first was season seven when Faye Winter kicked off after Casa Amor with total of 29,101 in just one week.
Just yesterday fans claimed that Shakira had been left 'broken' from 'abusive' behaviour in the infamous ITV2 villa.
On Love Island, concerned viewers have tuned in to watch the effects of a love triangle unfold.
Footballer Harry Cooksley was seemingly happy and was closed off in an exclusive couple with Helena Ford.
Shakira then ended her own partnership with Conor Phillips as she admitted that she had 'suppressed emotions' over Harry.
The islanders were then shown a damning clip at the Grafties award ceremony that caused major drama.
Love Island fans fume as Harry charms Helena's parents after heartache and is branded a 'lovable villain'
Harry was spotted to be openly flirting with Shakira and suggested it was a "good idea" that they spend time with each other.
He then told Conor that he only felt a 'friendship' connection wirth Helena as he called his bond with Shakira more 'natural'.
After his behaviour was exposed, both Shakira and Helena became emotional as they realised they were always pitted against each other.
Both of the pair broke down in tears at several points in the episode as droves of fans took to X - formerly known as Twitter - in a rage, suggesting they should make complaints to Ofcom.
One fan suggested: "Can we all complain to @Ofcom because this is so uncomfortable to watch?? Shakira is BROKEN???"
A second stated: "Never thought I'd do an ofcom complaint in my life and now I've done 2 in one week."
While someone else wrote: "'I've got goosebumps' when it's Cach crying but 'Right back at ya' when it's Shakira.
"And she had to go to the f****** mental health/care team. Na I'm reporting Meg to ofcom. I've had enough."
Last week fans saw Shakira break down in floods of tears as she ended her romance with Conor and admitted she wanted to leave.
Meanwhile, Meg and Helena have come under fire for "bullying" some of the girls and have been branded "mean girls".
Toni, Shakira and Yas have repeatedly called them out but they have continued to deflect, leaving fans in uproar.

Olivia Attwood shares behind-the-scenes video and snaps from This Morning presenting stint and Love Island event

OLIVIA Attwood shared a behind-the-scenes video and snaps from her presenting stint at This Morning. If her Instagram is anything to go by, the former Love Island star has the perfect work life balance. 10 10 She took to the photo-sharing platform as she gave her 2.4 million followers a sneak peek at what really goes on in her life. Olivia, 34, shared a number of behind-the-scenes snaps on the set of the flagship ITV Show. Her cover shot showed the star posing in her dressing room in a white vest top, skimpy black trousers as her hair was pulled up. Another video was taken by her entourage as she was on the set of This Morning with her co-star Dermot O'Leary. She danced in an orange top and high-waisted navy trousers as the cameras and production teams moved around her. A third video showed the star getting a make-up top up as a stylist fluttered around fixing her hair whilst she looked through her cue cards. The former reality star also posed in her glasses as the face of an exclusive VIP event for Boots opticians. However, she also relaxed away from the cameras as she attended the Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium with her husband Bradley Dack. He looked absolutely delighted as he wrapped his arms around her in an intimate selfie from their private hospitality box. Not stopping there, she was busy in the voiceover booth recording segments for forthcoming editions of Olivia Attwood's Bad Boyfriends. This Morning fans deliver verdict on Olivia Attwood as she makes her debut as new co-host with Dermot O'Leary After that, the star met a group of fans on the set of a special Love Island fashion event for eBay Live. She was dressed in a silk white wrap top with beige wide leg trousers as she was joined by Casey O'Gorman and Sophie Piper. Olivia captioned the album: "I get around." The star previously faced backlash when she made her debut on the flagship ITV daytime magazine programme. Olivia Attwood's Career History From Monster grid girl and Love Island star to daytime telly panellist and respected documentary maker, Olivia Attwood has made a huge career pivot in recent years... Olivia first started as a Monster grid girl at motorsport events in 2012 when she was 19-years-old, and did it right up until she went into Love Island in 2017. After placing third in the reality show with then-boyfriend Chris Hughes, she starred in their own spin-off series, Chris & Olivia: Crackin' On, in 2018. Later that year, she appeared on Celebs Go Dating and then joined the cast of The Only Way Is Essex in 2019, where she had a number of fiery on-screen rows. In 2020, the reality TV veteran began starring in her own reality series on ITVBe titled Olivia Meets Her Match, which followed her wedding preparations with footballer Bradley Dack. In 2021, the tide started to turn. Olivia made appearances on household shows Lorraine, Tipping Point: Lucky Stars and Loose Women. Then, in 2022, ITV commissioned her for her first ever documentary series. She presented Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich, which explored women selling sexual content online. In June 2023, ITV commissioned Olivia Marries Her Match and made her a regular guest panellist on Loose Women. Her most recent docu-series, Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection, aired in January this year where she sensitively explored the cosmetic industry. Her reality background didn't go down well with some of the more traditionalist viewers, who vowed to switch off. Olivia clapped back at the trolls who shared their dismay with her appointment in the role, as she insisted "there's much more to me." Her colleague Josie Gibson, 40, who is a regular presenter on This Morning, later defended Olivia, saying she's 'brilliant' in the role. She told The Sun: "Oh my God she's brilliant. It's brilliant she gets to do this and I think she's really good. Yeah, really good. Those who know me understand the hard work I've put in to get where I am today. Olivia AttwoodSpeaking to The Sun "Honestly, you get some backlash like that in this industry and I really don't know why people do it." The former Big Brother star added: "I'll never understand why people do it, you know. To me, I've always loved to see people do well and I genuinely love it. "I think Olivia is brilliant in the role." 10 10 10

Chris Hughes dropped from BBC hosting role in huge presenter shake-up

Chris Hughes first rose to fame appearing on Love Island but has since taken on an array of TV presenting duties and even competed on ITV2's reality hit Celebrity Big Brother Chris Hughes has been dropped from his BBC hosting role in a huge presenter shake-up, it has been reported. The former Love Island star previously took on the role of a presenter on the cricket competition the Hundred since it launched in 2021. ‌ However, it's thought that Chris will not be returning to the role this year. The Hundred is due to get underway on Tuesday with a derby between London Spirit and Oval Invincibles at Lord's. ‌ The BBC and Sky Sports both share the TV rights for the competition. It's believed that bosses are wanting to put more focus on the actual sport of the competition rather than using celebrities to market it as an entertainment show. ‌ The Sun reported that a spokesperson from the BBC said: "Chris has done a good job for four years, but we're going in a different direction. There will be more focus on the cricket this year, rather than promoting the Hundred as an entertainment show. "Former England cricketers Alex Hartley and Isa Guha and will lead the presenting team, as they know the sport inside out. Rick Edwards from Radio Five Live will be used in the Chris Hughes role." ‌ The Mirror have contacted Chris' reps and the BBC for comment. This is the second sports job that Chris has lost in the last few months. Back in April, it was revealed that he was leaving ITV Racing after six years with them. This was reportedly due to a dispute over pay. ‌ Chris' cricket presenting career wasn't all smooth sailing as in 2023 he was formally reprimanded by the BBC for making comments that were "not appropriate" after he told a female cricketer on air she was like "a little Barbie". All-rounder Mailan Brown, who plays for the Southern Brave team, was talking about how the team had watched the Barbie Movie in order to bond. She said: "We watched Barbie the other night all together and it was really good team bonding." ‌ Chris then responded by saying: "You're a little Barbie yourself, aren't you, with your blue eyes." Brown then laughed as Chris added: "She's blushing now." His comments then attracted criticism online and a BBC spokesperson said: "We have spoken to Chris and explained that his comment was not appropriate." Chris then returned to work for the BBC the following year. Chris first found fame when he appeared on Love Island. He struck up a spark at the time with Olivia Attwood but the pair didn't last. He has since gone on to appear on several reality shows, most recently Celebrity Big Brother. This is where he met his now-girlfriend JoJo Siwa after the duo got on like a house on fire during the series. The pair seemed to just be friends while on the show but as soon as the cameras were off them, they chose to take things to the next level and are now in a relationship.
