A DIY enthusiast was desperate to jazz up her council house porch, but didn't know where to start.
As a result, Emily Beatrice, a mum-of-five from the UK, asked ChatGPT for advice on how to add style to her space.

Using bargain buys from Amazon and Temu, the photographer was able to totally transform the front of her home, without breaking the bank.
In fact, the DIY makeover cost Emily less than £100 in total - yes, you heard that correctly.
Posting on social media, the bargain hunter and interior lover shared a before and after look at her 'budget transformation.'
She then explained: 'I asked ChatGPT how I could improve my council house porch for less than £100.'
What was once a blue door with wellies and shoes all over the floor, has since been transformed into a stunning, as well as neat and tidy space.
Emily was keen to 'make full use of space,' as she added: 'I wanted everything to have a place and a bit more privacy.
To carry out the makeover, step one involved Emily sanding her front door.
Following this, she then filled in any dents and added a primer.
Once this was done, she added a black trim and gave the door a fresh lick of paint using Frenchic in the shade Wise Old Sage Al Fresco.
She even painted her floor a bright blue colour too.

To finish off the space she added shoe racks, a privacy screen to the window of her front door, and a gorgeous wreath for added style.
Emily confirmed that she bought her privacy film from Temu and nabbed a pack of two wall welly boot racks from Amazon for just £15.

Not only this, but she also revealed that she is 'tempted' to add a light to the space too.
Emily confirmed that it cost her less than £100 in total for the DIY project, which included the cost of paint, brushes and primer.
Rules on transforming your council house
According to Gov, the kind of improvements you can make to your council property depends on the type of tenancy you have.
Introductory tenants are usually limited to minor improvements like redecorating inside.
If you're a secure tenant, you have the right to carry out improvements to your property. These include: installing a new bathroom or kitchen
building an extension
putting up a garden shed or greenhouse
installing a new gas fire or fireplace
cavity wall insulation
redecorating the outside of a house
fitting an aerial or satellite dish
You might need your council's written permission for work you do. Contact your council if you're not sure.
She acknowledged that she has 'plenty left for other projects' and already owned a sander, which cost her £50 in the Homebase sale.
Showing off the final result, she beamed: 'Looks so much more inviting now!'

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @emily__beatrice, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 133,400 views in just 13 hours.
Not only this, but it's also amassed 6,050 likes, 122 comments and 235 saves.

Amazon overhauls Wondery podcast studio, cuts 110 jobs
Aug 4 (Reuters) - (AMZN.O), opens new tab is restructuring the Wondery podcast studio by shifting its award-winning narrative podcasts such as "Business Wars" to Audible and consolidating creator-led shows into a new unit, according to a memo seen by Reuters. About 110 employees will be laid off as part of the process, while many Wondery employees will transition to other parts of Amazon, the company said in an emailed statement on Monday. Wondery CEO Jen Sargent will depart the company following a transition period, the memo said. Intense competition in the expensive podcast industry as well as a growing focus on creator-led video content have prompted audio streaming companies including Spotify (SPOT.N), opens new tab to diversify their podcasts as they look to lower costs and attract more users to their platforms. "As video podcasting has grown in popularity, we have learned that creator-led, video-integrated shows have different audience needs and require distinct discovery, growth and monetization strategies compared to audio-first, narrative series," Steve Boom, vice president of audio, Twitch and games at Amazon, wrote in the memo. Wondery was acquired by Amazon in 2021 and has seen podcast revenue quadruple since then as the studio expanded its slate to include video podcasts and creator-driven series, according to the memo. Under the new structure, Wondery's narrative podcast studio - home to shows such as "Dr. Death" and "American Scandal" - along with the Wondery+ subscription service, will move to Audible, the e-commerce giant's audio platform. Its creator-focused podcast team that produces shows including "Mind the Game", "New Heights", and "Armchair Expert" will join a new Creator Services group within Amazon's Talent Services division. This new team will continue to operate the creator-focused podcast studio under the Wondery brand. People 'always get compliments' on £25 Britney Spears' perfume
The pop star's 'sweet and feminine' perfume is currently half price at Boots Shoppers have declared there is 'nothing not to like' about a pop star's fragrance, which is currently available at Boots. The online-exclusive offer drops almost £25 off the price of the perfume which has kept fans for decades. Boots is currently running a deal that offers half-price across some of Britney Spears' fragrance collection, including Fantasy, which the store carries. The 50% reduction applies to all bottle sizes of the gorgeous pink perfume, including the 100ml edition, which typically sells for £49 but is now priced at £24.50. The health and beauty retailer's website characterises Fantasy as "alive with enchantment and rich with the thrill of the chase.", reports the Mirror. It combines red lychee, golden quince, and kiwi with jasmine petals, white chocolate, and sensual woods to create a "light, feminine scent." The fruity fragrance comes housed in a striking pink bottle adorned with Swarovski crystals. The original Fantasy has remained a fan favourite since its launch as one of Britney's initial fragrance collaborations in 2005. Subsequently, it has been reimagined with new variants, including Fantasy Twist, Circus Fantasy, and others—each featuring distinctive scent profiles.
