The MP alleged that BAP is harming Hindu society, tribal communities, regional development, education, and the dignity of women. He said that they are spreading the narrative that "tribals are not Hindus," which he believes is an extension of British ideology.
He accused these groups of turning the region's youth into stone-pelters.
According to him BAP and BTP are described as conspiratorial parties inspired by external elements, hindering the region's development, education, women's dignity, and youth's empowerment.

Kolkata: With the Calcutta High Court-mandated Aug 1 deadline to Centre to resume the 100 days' work programme in Bengal getting over on Friday, Trinamool, CPM and Congress spoke in one voice to target BJP for ignoring the state's poor. The parties indicated they would move court against Centre for contempt. On June 18, the HC had directed "prospective implementation" of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Generation Scheme (MGNREGS), suspended in Bengal for close to three years, from Aug 1. Saying that the scheme could not be "put in cold storage for eternity", a bench led by the Chief Justice had allowed Centre to impose special conditions and restrictions to check the irregularities and for recovery of money misappropriated in the past. CPM has been protesting at block levels over the past month demanding restoration of 100 days' work and for non-payment of pending wages. "If 100 days' work is not restored following the court order, we will take it to the streets. We are also looking at taking legal recourse," CPM state secretary Md Salim said. Pradesh Congress president Subhankar Sarkar said: "Investigation into cases of corruption should be done. But that cannot be used as an excuse to deny the scheme that has a huge impact on rural livelihoods. If necessary, Congress will take legal recourse. The state govt, on the other hand, should come out with a white paper on the accounts of 100 days' work." Bengal BJP said there was lack of clarity in the high court's order. "The court, on the one hand, said that 100 days' work cannot be stopped. On the other hand, it has given a go-ahead to the investigation into allegations of corruption and agreed to Centre imposing conditions," state BJP president Samik Bhattacharya said. "The CM met the PM with a delegation of parliamentarians. She said that the matter will be resolved through secretary-level meetings between Centre and state. The meetings never took place," Bhattacharya added.

Jeffrey Epstein's Ex-Girlfriend Moved To Texas Prison After Trump Official Meeting
Ghislaine Maxwell, the accomplice of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has been moved from a prison in Florida to a minimum security facility in Texas, the Bureau of Prisons said Friday, triggering an angry reaction from some of their victims. No reason was given for Maxwell's transfer but it comes a week after a top Justice Department official met with her to ask questions about Epstein, who died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial for allegedly sex trafficking underage girls. "We can confirm Ghislaine Maxwell is in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan in Bryan, Texas," a Bureau of Prisons spokesman said. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, President Donald Trump's former personal lawyer, interviewed Maxwell for two days at a Florida courthouse last week in a highly unusual meeting between a convicted felon and high-ranking Justice official. Blanche has declined so far to say what was discussed but Maxwell's lawyer, David Markus, said she answered every question she was asked. Maxwell has offered to testify before Congress about Epstein if given immunity and has also reportedly been seeking a pardon from Trump, a one-time close friend of Epstein. She had been subpoenaed to give a deposition to the House Oversight Committee on August 11, but Politico reported Friday it had been postponed indefinitely. The former British socialite is serving a 20-year sentence after being convicted in 2021 of recruiting underage girls for Epstein. Two women who said they were sexually abused by Epstein and Maxwell and the family of another accuser who recently committed suicide condemned the prison transfer. "It is with horror and outrage that we object to the preferential treatment convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell has received," Annie and Maria Farmer and the family of Virginia Giuffre said in a statement Friday. "Ghislaine Maxwell is a sexual predator who physically assaulted minor children on multiple occasions, and she should never be shown any leniency," they said. "Yet, without any notification to the Maxwell victims, the government overnight has moved Maxwell to a minimum security luxury prison in Texas," they said. "This move smacks of a cover-up. Congress preps to revive ‘Op Akarsh' to rope in more BRS MLAs
1 2 Hyderabad: With the Supreme Court setting a three-month deadline for the assembly speaker to decide on the disqualification of turncoat MLAs, the ruling Congress is all set to revive its 'Operation Akarsh' and go all out to rope in more BRS MLAs in a bid to escape the anti-defection law. The ruling party needs 16 more BRS legislators to merge the BRS Legislature Party (BRSLP) with the Congress Legislature Party (CLP). The BRS won 39 assembly seats in the 2023 assembly election but lost the Secunderabad Cantonment constituency in the 2024 bypoll. So far, 10 BRS legislators have joined the Congress after the assembly election. As per the anti-defection law, unless two-thirds of a party's legislators defect, the defectors are liable to be disqualified. In such cases, by-elections have to be held as legislators will have to resign after switching sides. "It has always been active.
