In-form Arsenal face tough test against improving Man City
The Gunners are pushing to end their 21-year wait for a league title, while City's grip on the trophy is under serious threat after a season of inconsistency.
Arsenal have endured their fair share of challenges this season, from key injuries to controversial refereeing decisions, yet they remain firmly in the hunt.
Their resilience has kept them in the race, but with Liverpool six points ahead and holding a game in hand, there is little margin for error.
A win on Sunday would not only boost their title hopes but also reinforce the belief that they are now on equal footing with City. For the first time in years, Pep Guardiola's side do not look untouchable. City have already lost six league matches this season – twice as many as last term.
Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton & Hove Albion, Bournemouth and Aston Villa have all beaten City this term.
Defensive frailties, uncharacteristic lapses in control and key absences have played a role in their struggles.
However, City have started to turn a corner. A run of four wins from their last five Premier League games has kept them within striking distance of the top.
A hard-fought comeback against Club Brugge in the Champions League in midweek showed signs of their old resilience.
With fixtures against Arsenal, Newcastle United, Liverpool and Tottenham on the horizon, this period will determine whether they can salvage their season.Arsenal have built a strong record at the Emirates, going unbeaten in their last 14 Premier League home games since April.
Their home form has been a key factor in their title challenge, and they will take confidence from last season's 1-0 victory over City.
Arteta's side have also shown an ability to grind out wins when not at their best. Last weekend, they edged past Wolverhampton Wanderers despite being reduced to ten men.
Their midweek Champions League victory over Girona required them to come from behind. These results underline a growing maturity within the squad.City are dangerous opponents. Erling Braut Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden are all capable of producing game-changing moments.
Even in matches where they have struggled, they have often found ways to score. The concern for Guardiola will be his side's defensive record. Their vulnerability at the back has cost them points this season, and against an Arsenal attack that is growing in confidence, that could be decisive.
Arsenal's home game against Man City is arguably one of the biggest games of the season as a Category A fixture, with tickets at a premium.
For Arsenal fans looking to attend the home game against Man City, or subsequent home games against West Ham United and Chelsea, they can purchase Arsenal tickets and ensure a premium experience at the Emirates.
With both teams desperate for three points, this is a pivotal clash.
City's improving form makes them a threat, but Arsenal's consistency, home strength and need to stay in the title race could give them the edge in what promises to be a fascinating contest.
We expect a close-fought game, with Arsenal claiming a 2-1 victory over Guardiola's side.

Arsenal express interest in Rennes' Jérémy Jacquet
Jérméy Jacquet (20) has made big strides in the past 12 months. This time last year, he was embarking on a loan at Ligue 2 side Clermont Foot. However, his performances in the second division, coupled with Stade Rennais' defensive frailties, saw the centre-back recalled by his parent club in January. He then went on to establish himself as a starter under new manager Habib Beye in the second half of the season as Rennes dragged themselves out of relegation trouble. His performances have been rewarded with a new deal, which now runs until the summer of 2029. His 11 appearances in Ligue 1 were also enough for him to earn a spot in France's U21 side for this summer's European Championships. Fabrizio Romano now understands that Arsenal are interested in the Frenchman, should there be departures in the defensive department in the coming months. The Premier League side have made initial contact to express their interest. Jacquet could also be an option for Arsenal next summer. GFFN | Luke Entwistle

Manchester United ready to listen to offers for Rasmus Højlund
ESPN report that Manchester United are open to offers to sell Rasmus Højlund. Højlund (22) – who has three years remaining on his current deal with an option for a further year – struggled last season with just five goal contributions (four goals, one assist) in 2,014 minutes across 32 Premier League appearances and as United go in search for a new No. 9, the Dane is a candidate to leave. One of Manchester United's targets to lead their attack next season is RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko. The Slovenian was left out of the Bundesliga club's friendly on Saturday after Newcastle United had submitted an opening offer of €80m including bonuses. Sesko has already made it known to teammates that he wants to leave this summer with both Manchester United and Newcastle vying for his transfer. There's also been reports suggesting that Højlund could be used as a makeweight in a deal for Sesko but so far the INEOS backed club haven't submitted an offer for the 22-year-old. also note that Højlund would be available for around £30m. Erik ten Hag appeals for 'four to five new players' in order to rebuild Bayer Leverkusen
Newly appointed Bayer Leverkusen head coach Erik ten Hag has clearly stated that he cannot make do with a 24-man-squad heading into the new Bundesliga campaign. The summer wave of departures from Germany's red company team leaves Leverkusen ill-equipped to finish in the top-four. Some forthcoming transfers can slash ten Hag's personnel pool further. Lukas Hradecky's soon-to-be-finalized move to Monaco and the possibility that attacker Amine Adli might depart could leave ten Hag with just 22 professionals to build matchday squads. Leverkusen cannot hope to contest league, cup, and Champions League competitions with so few players. Knowing full well that his rebuilding project won't be easy, ten Hag at least let it be known what he needed from club management. 'One can't prevent players from leaving in top-level-football,' ten Hag – quoted by Kicker – noted after a Saturday friendly at Leverkusen's training camp in Rio de Janeiro. 'That's just the way it is. But it's best if four or five players don't leave in one transfer window, because then it becomes much more difficult to continue the process. 'All of us are facing a challenge,' ten Hag continued. 'The team. The coaching staff. Everyone involved, right up to the board. We will have to build a new era. We know that it will take time to build a completely new team. We will work on that. The initial contours are visible. We now have to build on them. There are still so many weaknesses. 'Four to five players still need to be added in order to achieve our goal of finishing in the top four,' ten Hag concluded. 'The transfer window is still open for another month and a lot can happen.'
