'I'm like a child at Christmas': Oasis fan flies from Lanzarote after snagging last-minute tickets
Brian Heavey is a known mega fan of the Gallagher brothers and even sang in an Oasis tribute band before he moved to Lanzarote two months ago to work as a singer and entertainer.

The 46-year-old from Duleek, Co Meath where the Gallagher's estranged father Tommy hails from, has met him numerous times over the years in the village.
"Everyone knows I'm a huge Oasis fan," he said before boarding the flight from Lanzarote on Friday morning.
"I managed to get two tickets only two weeks ago from a friend who couldn't make the concert, so I'll be in the lower Hogan stand with my wife Jen.
"I'll be at the Saturday night concert and I was delighted to get the tickets. I'm so excited. I am just like a child at Christmas.

"My wife has been up to get all the merch, so we have the bucket hats and the t-shirts ready to go.
"I've seen them play most of the times they were in Ireland, even long before they played in Slane.
"They had a fresh sound. They had the swagger, the cheekiness, the boldness and the aura. I knew they were going to be huge."
"I also knew they would be back together. It was destiny."

Brian said it was very hard to pick a favourite song due to their huge catalogue of songs, but Champagne Supernova and Talk Tonight would be up there.
The Meath man moved to Lanzarote, where he had been holidaying for ten years, two months ago and now gigs seven nights of the week at four venues over there.

"It was 45 degrees here on Monday and that can be tough, but you just have to eat early and late and keep well dehydrated because it was dangerously hot.
"The difference in the cost of living here is huge. I can get a grocery shop for the week for less than €50 and I pay €1100 a month for a two-bedroom apartment with a small pool.
"I then have a small water, electricity and maintenance bill on top of that but my wages here would cover all that in a few gigs, so it is also easier to save here.

Now, the Oasis frontman has bashed the council once again but this time during their shows at Croke Park in Dublin over the weekend.
