How to Master Quiet Luxury in Your Everyday Style — Without Looking Like You're Trying

'Old money' dressing is having a new moment — and it's quieter than ever. With the rise of stealth wealth and the fall of logo mania, quiet luxury has emerged as one of fashion's most aspirational yet elusive trends. From Sofia Richie Grainge's effortlessly chic Instagram looks to Gwyneth Paltrow's court-ready cashmere, the message is clear: if you know, you know.
According to Google Trends, in 2023 searches for 'quiet luxury' spiked by 614% over that year — demonstrating how seriously consumers started embracing stealth wealth at this time. Most recently, searches for 'quiet luxury handbags' and 'minimalist high-end fashion' surged by over 60% in the first half of 2025, proving the understated aesthetic is more than just a passing phase. Additionally, overall interest in 'quiet luxury' saw a significant uptick in Q1 2025, aligning with the continued shift toward logo-free, investment dressing.
But how do you translate this high-end, low-key aesthetic into your everyday wardrobe without, well, owning a yacht? Here's your ultimate guide to incorporating quiet luxury into your daily style — no trust fund required. First, What Is Quiet Luxury?
Quiet luxury isn't just about expensive clothing — it's about taste. Think: neutral tones, high-quality fabrics, clean lines, and timeless silhouettes that whisper status instead of shouting it. Brands like The Row, Loro Piana, Brunello Cucinelli , and Khaite embody the aesthetic, while high-street brands like COS , Everlane , and Massimo Dutti offer accessible alternatives.
Unlike fast fashion, quiet luxury focuses on longevity over logos , prioritizing craftsmanship and fit over flashy trends. It's minimalist, but never boring. It's elevated, but never ostentatious. (Photo by) How to Incorporate Quiet Luxury Into Your Everyday Style 1. Prioritize Fabric Over Flash
Luxury begins with touch. Incorporate elevated basics made from natural, premium fabrics like organic cotton, wool, cashmere, silk, and linen. These materials not only feel better, but they also drape and wear beautifully over time.
Style Tip: Swap your synthetic sweaters for a lightweight cashmere crewneck, or replace polyester blouses with silk button-downs. You'll feel the difference — and so will everyone else. 2. Neutral Is the New Black
Quiet luxury style lives in a neutral palette. Build your wardrobe around shades of ivory, camel, grey, taupe, navy, and muted earth tones . These colors are seasonless, elegant, and endlessly versatile.
Over the past 12 months, Pinterest's 'Capsule Wardrobe 2024' board has seen 167,000 searches — many tied to neutral and minimalist aesthetics. And in Spring 2025, boards like 'Neutral Capsule Wardrobe Spring' have maintained steady weekly traffic, confirming long‑term interest in subdued, timeless style. 3. Tailoring Is Your Secret Weapon
Even a $50 blazer can look like $500 if it fits like a glove. Quiet luxury is built on clean lines and impeccable tailoring — so consider getting your everyday pieces, like trousers or blazers, altered to your proportions.
Style Tip: Look for structured shoulders, nipped-in waists, and tailored pants with sharp pleats. These subtle details elevate your outfit instantly. 4. Invest in Understated Accessories
Quiet luxury doesn't mean going without accessories — it means choosing subtle, sculptural, or artisanal pieces over trend-driven ones. Think: a buttery leather crossbody, dainty gold jewelry, or a sleek pair of loafers.
Shop Like a Stylist: Look for pieces in materials like real leather, suede, or recycled gold, and avoid large logos or obvious branding. 5. Keep Your Beauty Look Polished But Natural
The quiet luxury style aesthetic extends to your hair and makeup. Think polished, not perfect: barely-there foundation, brushed-up brows, clean manicures , and undone hair that still feels intentional.
Trend Note: On TikTok, the 'clean look' — sometimes called 'rich girl skin' — is soaring, with the broader 'old money' aesthetic hashtags like #oldmoneyaesthetic topping 320 million views, reflecting a cultural shift toward polished, understated elegance that aligns closely with quiet luxury. 6. Create a Capsule Wardrobe
Quiet luxury thrives on repeat wear . A well-edited capsule wardrobe built on high-quality basics means less impulse buying and more intentional styling.
Start With: A classic trench coat
Crisp white shirts
Tailored trousers
Loafers or ballet flats
A sleek leather tote
You don't need a closet full of clothes — you need a few great ones that mix and match seamlessly. 7. Mix High & Low Like a Pro
The secret to mastering quiet luxury style on a budget? Mixing investment pieces with elevated essentials from more affordable brands. A $20 Uniqlo tee under a tailored Toteme jacket? Perfection.

Quiet luxury isn't just a trend — it's a mindset. It's the confidence to wear the same blazer for five years because you love how it fits. It's dressing for yourself, not the algorithm. And yes, it's the grace to look fabulous without making a scene. Because luxury is about desirability and not about price.
As style legend Phoebe Philo once said: 'I believe in clothes that are well made and that have longevity.' With a little intention and a lot of editing, your everyday style can whisper volumes — quietly, of course.

Taylor Swift Reveals How She Came To Fall In Love With Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are seen during the 2024 US Open Tennis Championships on September 08, 2024, in New York City. (Photo by Gotham/GC Images) Taylor Swift's modus operandi has always been about singing songs of love and romance of the grand, cinematic variety. But it was Travis Kelce's grand audio declarations in 2023 that saw the singer swooning. On her now-boyfriend's podcast, New Heights , she took a moment to thank the show for its role in connecting the two. 'This podcast did a lot for me. I owe a lot to this podcast,' she began. 'This podcast got me a boyfriend.' As the story goes, back in 2023, the NFL player got on air to lament his failed attempt to meet Swift during her Kansas City Eras Tour stop. Gently mocking his endearing tactics, Swift laughed that Kelce hadn't pulled strings with her management, but purely bet on the fact that he 'knows the elevator lady' and figured he could find his way to her dressing room. 'That's how it worked in 1973,' she laughed. 'It was such a wild romantic gesture… This dude didn't get a meet-and-greet, and he's making it everyone's problem. That's what I thought at first.' Comparing the move to the stuff of 80s romcoms, she explained why it won her over. 'It felt like a modern version of standing outside my window with a boombox, like, 'I want to date you! Do you want to go on a date with me? I made you a friendship bracelet! Do you want to date me?'' While it could've been misread, she chose to take a chance on the tight end. 'I was like, if this guy isn't crazy, which is a big if , this is sort of what I've been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager,' she gushed. 'It was wild, but it worked. I'm glad it worked,' she said while cupping Kelce's face in her hands. Also feeling the love, he quipped back with his own affections. 'I'm the luckiest guy in the world,' he said. Although when Kelce's brother and co-host, Jason, asked Swift how she knew the Kansas City Chiefs star wasn't crazy, Swift joked that she didn't. 'He is crazy,' she said. 'He's the good kind of crazy.' (Photo by) When the couple finally connected after the podcast episode aired, the rest was easy. 'The way he could make me laugh so immediately about normal things,' she reflected, 'was just very pure.' Kelce, for his part, was equally smitten. 'She blew me away,' he said. ' I had never experienced something so mesmerising on stage and then something so real and so beautiful in person.' By the time she attended that now-famous first September football game to watch Kelce play, they were happily in the hard launch stage of their relationship and are still going strong today. During the same appearance, the 35-year-old announced her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl , which is set to be released on October 3rd.

Jennifer Aniston Opens Up About "PTSD" From Brad Pitt Divorce

But during a time when tabloid culture was at its most toxic, the trauma experienced by Aniston went far beyond the breakup. Now, nearly two decades on, the Friends alum has reflected on the 'vulnerable' and 'jarring' months that followed her divorce from Pitt, particularly regarding the media circus that came with it. Speaking in a new interview with Vanity Fair, Aniston admitted she still has 'some PTSD' from the scrutiny, recalling how the press turned her split—and Pitt's subsequent romance with Angelina Jolie—into a relentless 'love triangle' saga. 'It was such juicy reading for people,' she said. 'If they didn't have their soap operas, they had their tabloids.' Jennifer Aniston and husband Brad Pitt attend the 56th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards at the Shrine Auditorium on September 19, 2004, in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by) The only way the actress got through it was by adopting a 'survival approach', a 'pick yourself up by the bootstraps and keep on walking, girl' mentality, she explained. But the constant headlines and speculations around her personal life left their mark. 'We're human beings, even though some people don't want to believe we are,' she added. 'They think, 'You signed up for it, so you take it.' But we really didn't sign up for that.' Up until their split, Aniston and Pitt had been Hollywood's golden couple, meeting in 1998, marrying in 2000, and appearing inseparable until 2004, when the on-set chemistry between Pitt and Jolie in Mr & Mrs Smith sparked rumours that would become celebrity gossip canon for years. (Photo by Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic) In early 2005, a joint statement ended the relationship, but that certainly didn't put a stop to the public appetite for every detail. 'It's a shame that it had to happen, but it happened. And boy did I take it personally,' she confessed. Yet, despite the storm, she and Pitt have maintained a friendly relationship. In fact, in 2019, following his divorce from Jolie, the actor reportedly tried to make amends with his first ex-wife when she turned 50. According to reports, Pitt marked Aniston's milestone birthday with an elaborate gift: a $124 million (AUD) Beverly Hills mansion that had once been their shared marital home. The sprawling estate had been their place of residence during their marriage before it was sold during the divorce. When it reappeared on the market, Pitt reportedly seized the chance to offer a grand gesture of friendship to Aniston. Pitt and Jolie, on the other hand, are unlikely to open up about their split anytime soon. Though some explosive details from their divorce settlement have gripped headlines over the past eight years, given the legalities of the divorce, the two have remained relatively quiet about it all.

(Photo by James Devaney/GC Images) The filming for the highly anticipated The Devil Wears Prada sequel officially began towards the end of June; however, we are just now getting a glimpse into what Andy Sachs is up to, nearly two decades on. Anne Hathaway took to her socials on July 21 to tease fans with two quick wardrobe sneak peeks. First, the star shared a TikTok captioned, 'heading to werk #dwp2' in which she was brushing her teeth. More notable than what she was doing, however, was an all too familiar-looking cerulean sweater worn by Hathaway. Though we doubt the Frame crewneck she is wearing this time around was 'fished out of some clearance bin' Anne Hathaway is seen on the set of 'Devil Wears Prada 2' on July 21, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by Raymond Hall/GC Images) She then went on to share another video on her socials, in which she stood in front of a '2' and twirled in a Gabriela Hearst maxi dress. This post was also captioned '#dwp2'. The actress was seen in this same dress, wearing a straw hat and holding a garment bag labelled 'Runway' while filming later that day. Following these sneak peeks, Hathaway was spotted out in New York City on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2 , showing us what Andy's daily style looks like nearly two decades on. On this day, the actor was first spotted walking down the street in a casual look consisting of a Toteme tank and a denim maxi skirt from Agolde. She wore Velcro Chanel sandals and black sunglasses with the look, keeping it practical and refined. Later on, she was seen in the same sandals, but this time wearing a patchwork denim boiler suit and a black Valentino bag.
