Karisma Kapoor has long been a brand ambassador for a renowned Indian electronics brand, specifically for their kitchen appliance range, including chimneys, hobs and cooktops. Recently, the Raja Hindustani actress delighted her fans with some behind-the-scenes glimpses of her recent ad shoot on Instagram. The first snapshot, shared on her Instagram stories, shows Lolo standing in front of a mirror and taking a selfie. She is seen wearing a sleeveless blush pink ethnic outfit with floral embroidery, while her hair is being styled by her team member standing behind her.
The setting appears to be a dressing room or her vanity van, with a chair and some other equipment visible in the background.
She captioned the post, 'Ready."
The next picture is directly from the sets of her ad shoot with Karisma posing in front of a grey backdrop. We can see studio lights and reflectors placed around her. The diva is seen posing confidently for the camera with her arms crossed. The picture caption reads, 'Set."
In the last one, she is seen wearing a white apron and chef's hat over her ethnic ensemble. This time, she captioned the post, 'Go."
On the film front, Karisma was last seen in the mystery thriller film, Murder Mubarak, released in March 2024 on the OTT giant Netflix. Directed by Homi Adajania, the film also featured Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Pankaj Tripathi, Dimple Kapadia, Tisca Chopra and Sanjay Kapoor.
In the film, Karisma portrayed the role of Shehnaz Noorani, an actress aiming to become the president of a prestigious club in Delhi.
Karisma will be next seen in the upcoming web series, Brown, alongside actor Surya Sharma. Directed by Abhinay Deo, the show is said to be based on the 2016 book City of Death by Abheek Barua. An official release date for the series is yet to be announced by the makers.
Talking about her character in the series, Karisma earlier said, 'I've had a long career, I've been there, done that, and played a number of characters, but when I read the character Rita Brown, I really felt it, because she was so distinct, so diversified — she was flawed, but human, incredibly brilliant, super intelligent, and you could literally feel her evolution. For me, as an actress, being stripped of all the gloss and glitz was incredibly exciting," as quoted by Filmfare.
Apart from her, the show also features celebs like Soni Razdan, Meghna Malik, Jisshu Sengupta and K.K. Raina in significant roles.
