Penn State quarterback commit earns prestigious invite to Under Armour All-America Game
Penn State football quarterback commit Troy Huhn will have an extra opportunity to put his talents on display next year.
Huhn, who ranks as a 4-star in the 2026 class, earned an invite to the 2026 Under Armour All-American Game after being named one of the top performers at the Under Armour Los Angeles event last weekend.
The event was part of a series of camps hosted by Under Armour, which helps select players to compete in the annual event, a showcase of some of the top high school talent. Though the details for the next All-America Game haven't been announced, it'll be the 18th edition of the event.
Huhn becomes the first Penn State commitment to earn the honor since quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer, who appeared in the 2024 iteration.
The 6-foot-4, 205 pound gunslinger ranks as the No. 19 quarterback and No. 29 California recruit in the class. Huhn has been committed to the Nittany Lions since June 2024 and has served as a foundational piece of the recruiting class, which is now up to 15 members and ranks No. 4 nationally and third in the Big Ten.
The player rankings for the 2026 class haven't yet been finalized, and the All-America Game serves as a great opportunity to gain exposure in front of scouts while playing against some of the top recruits in the country. A strong showing could bump up Huhn's ranking.

Chicago Sky Coach's Angel Reese Comments Surface Before Indiana Fever Game

Chicago Sky Coach's Angel Reese Comments Surface Before Indiana Fever Game originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Chicago Sky currently hold a 2-4 record after the first month of the 2025 WNBA season. New head coach Tyler Marsh and the Sky started off on a four-game losing streak but rebounded with back-to-back wins against the 1-6 Dallas Wings. Advertisement Second-year post players Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese, both of whom were first-round picks during the 2024 WNBA Draft, have put together solid campaigns once again. Cardoso is averaging 11.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest, while Reese is contributing 10.0 points and a league-leading 12.3 rebounds per game. Both landed on the 2024 WNBA All-Rookie team last season, and they have grown even more in their second year. Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese (5).Patrick Gorski-Imagn Images Part of this growth can be attributed to assistant coach Courtney Paris, an 11-year WNBA veteran who was hired as an assistant coach under Tyler Marsh this season. She won the 2018 WNBA championship with the Seattle Storm and led the league in total rebounds on two occasions. Advertisement Paris spoke with Sky reporter Karli Bell ahead of the team's rematch against the Indiana Fever on Saturday. She spoke about 2024 WNBA All-Star forward Angel Reese and what has impressed her most. 'She has another level. When it's time to play, she competes at a level, and you can teach anything you want to teach in sports, but that competitive edge that you bring every day is either you have it or you don't,' Paris said. 'She just has it to the top level, even with all the pressure she has on her. That's what most impressed me about her and what continues to impress me about her.' Reese averaged 13.6 points and a WNBA-record 13.1 rebounds per game as a rookie, which landed her a spot on both the All-Star and All-Rookie teams. She is averaging a double-double once again this season and has four games of 12 or more rebounds. On Saturday, the Sky will host the Indiana Fever at the United Center in Chicago for their first game of the Commissioner's Cup. They will also be looking to avenge the 93 to 58 defeat that they suffered on opening day of the 2025 season. The game will tipoff at 8:00 p.m. EST. Chicago Sky Coach Sends Message After Major Kamilla Cardoso News

Chicago Sky Coach Sends Message After Major Kamilla Cardoso News originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Chicago Sky earned a 2-4 record through the first month of the 2025 WNBA season. They lost by a combined 73 points in their first three games but won two of their next three contests before the Commissioner's Cup. Advertisement Ariel Atkins and Courtney Vandersloot have led the team in scoring with 15.3 and 12.0 points per game, respectively, and second-year center Kamilla Cardoso is chipping in another 11.3 per contest. Just days before their rematch against the Indiana Fever, however, the Sky received a bit of disappointing news. It was reported that Cardoso would be playing for her home country Brazil in the AmeriCup this summer (via Roberta F. Rodrigues of The Next). Chicago Sky forward Kamilla Cardoso (10).Kamil Krzaczynski-Imagn Images This news meant that Cardoso would miss significant time for the Chicago Sky this season. While she is the team's third-leading scorer, she is also second in rebounds and leads the Sky in blocks. Advertisement After receiving this news, new head coach Tyler Marsh spoke to the media after Thursday's practice. He talked about Cardoso and how the team plans to move on without her for a portion of the season. "I think, from our standpoint and from Kamilla's standpoint, she's doing everything that she can do to be present and here for us," Marsh said. "When she goes off, then she'll handle her responsibilities, then she'll be back with us. We'll hold it down as best we can until she gets back." Cardoso was a member of the All-Rookie team last season after being the No. 3 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Fellow first-round draftee Angel Reese was also a member, and she even made the 2024 WNBA All-Star team after leading the league in rebounds per game. Advertisement The Sky will be back in action on Saturday against the Fever after an entire week of having no games. They will look to avenge their 93 to 58 loss they suffered to Indiana on opening day. Tipoff is set for 8:00 p.m. at the United Center in Chicago. Shams Charania Drops Major Kevin Durant Trade Update on Wednesday

Shams Charania Drops Major Kevin Durant Trade Update on Wednesday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the Phoenix Suns are hiring Cleveland Cavaliers assistant Jordan Ott as their new head coach. Advertisement The Suns fired Mike Budenholzer after one season. Budenholzer replaced Frank Vogel, who was also fired after one season. Phoenix missed the playoffs and play-in tournament this year despite having Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal. Charania is reporting that Booker was involved in the Suns' coaching search process during the final stages and stamped Ott as his top choice. Durant, though, wasn't involved. That's because the Suns are expected to work together with the superstar and his business partner, Boardroom CEO Rich Kleiman, on a trade. "The Suns will work with All-Star forward Kevin Durant and his business partner, Boardroom CEO Rich Kleiman, on his next landing spot," Charania wrote. "He is expected to have a robust market of approximately four to six seriously interested teams this offseason, sources said." Phoenix Suns star Kevin Chenoy-Imagn Images A future Hall of Famer, Durant has one year remaining on his contract. The small forward will make $54.7 million next season. Advertisement Durant turns 37 in September. He averaged 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists for the Suns this season while shooting 52.7% from the field, 43.0% from beyond the arc and 83.9% from the free-throw line. Durant has career averages of 27.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets and Suns. KD won two championships and two Finals MVPs with the Warriors but hasn't gotten back to the NBA Finals since leaving Golden State for Brooklyn in 2019. The Suns acquired Durant from the Nets in 2023. They have won only one postseason series since then.
