Egypt's Parliament Speaker Honors 10th of Ramadan Victory Anniversary

On Monday, Egyptian Parliament Speaker Hanafi Gebali delivered a speech marking the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan Victory, a historic milestone in Egypt's military and national history.
During the general session of the House of Representatives, Gebali highlighted the great sacrifices and heroic efforts of the Egyptian Armed Forces in reclaiming land and restoring national dignity during the October War. He emphasized that even after 52 years, this victory remains a source of pride and inspiration for all Egyptians.
"Each year, on the 10th of Ramadan, Egypt and the Arab world commemorate this defining moment—a testament to the courage, resilience, and unwavering determination of our Armed Forces. This victory embodies the sacrifices made for the sake of our land and honor," Gebali stated.
He extended his heartfelt congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Egyptian Armed Forces, and the entire Egyptian people, reaffirming that this anniversary serves as a reminder of national unity and the commitment to defending the homeland.
Gebali also underscored the broader significance of the October War victory, stating:
"The legacy of October is not just about military triumph; it carries a timeless message for future generations. It reminds us all of our duty to protect our nation, to work tirelessly for its progress, and to always put Egypt's interests above all else—just as the heroes of October did when they sacrificed everything for their country."

Nada Mustafa Prime Minister (PM) Dr. Mostafa Madbouly has expressed his deep sorrow and condolences over the death of Khaled Mohamed Shoukry, the heroic driver, who lost his life after bravely intervening during a fuel tanker fire at a gas station in 10th of Ramadan City. Shoukry died from injuries sustained while preventing a greater catastrophe, sacrificing himself to save others. PM described the late driver as a symbol of bravery and selflessness, noting that his swift and courageous response helped avert a major disaster, sparing numerous lives and properties. In recognition of Shoukry's sacrifice, Madbouly directed the Ministers of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and Social Solidarity, to immediately coordinate the disbursement of a generous financial reward and an exceptional pension to his family. He also instructed that his family be formally honored in a manner befitting his heroic act, which, PM affirmed, will remain engraved in the nation's memory. Madbouly further emphasized that the government, and the Egyptian people, deeply value such shining examples of courage and are committed to elevating their status as role models for society. Turkish Embassy in Cairo celebrates Eid Al-Adha with families from Gaza, Egypt

Basant Ahmed The Turkish Embassy in Cairo, in cooperation with the Palestinian Embassy, the Egyptian "Awladi" Association, and the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation (İHH), distributed sacrificial meat to Palestinian and Egyptian families. Ambassador Salih Mutlu ŞEN welcomed the guests during the event and said that unfortunately the deteriorating situation in Gaza spoils the joy of Eid for the Islamic world. Nearly 700 people participated in the solidarity event on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. Ambassador Salih Mutlu ŞEN said that they pray for peace, security, and prosperity for the oppressed brotherly Palestinian people, the entire Islamic world, and all of humanity on this Eid. He expressed their desire to implement relief activities as soon as possible for Palestinians residing in Egypt and those in need in Gaza, in cooperation with the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the Turkish Red Crescent, and Turkish civil society organizations.
