Maura Higgins reveals major The Traitors US bombshell after causing 'carnage'
Former Love Island star Maura Higgins has hinted that she will be causing 'utter carnage' on our screens as she is confirmed to be taking part in the fourth series of The Traitors US.
Maura, 34, is thought to be causing some trouble as the host of the show Alan Cumming gave fans an idea of what to expect from the new series. He described one of the scenes as the 'greatest moment in Traitors' history'.
Alan told The Playlist: "In this new season, there is chaos again, once more. There is chaos, and it's brutal. It's brutal. About halfway through, there is a scene in it that is the greatest moment in Traitor's history. Honestly, I just cannot wait for the world to see it. It's utter carnage and utter just mad. It's just brilliant!" It comes after David Beckham speaks 'as a father' in 'family' announcement after latest Brooklyn snub.
Maura then took part in a Q&A with her followers, where she hinted that she agrees with what Alan stated. She shared one of Alan's quotes on her Instagram story before she posted a video where she described the experience as 'unique'.
The reality star said: ' Do you know what's the craziest thing? Is that I actually do forget that I've done it. Like it feels so long ago but it's not that long ago. I can't obviously say much about it."
She added: "But it was an experience.... I kind of went in there thinking 'yeah, this is probably going to be a piece of p***. Like, I've done the jungle, nothing's going to be harder than that. I hadn't watched the show so I didn't really understand the concept, like obviously I have heard stuff before.
"But yeah, it's a unique one I will say and I'm very glad I've done it. But I can't say anything about it, very hush hush.' The update comes after Maura has had a busy few months after moving into her £1.25million five-bedroom dream home in Essex. Maura has earned an estimated £3.2 million in the years since she found fame on the ITV dating show back in 2019 and has now bought a home.
Marua has reportedly snapped up a five-bedroom property in the south east of England. The semi-detached house boasts an impressive garden and has huge, floor-to-ceiling windows that allow plenty of natural light to flood in.
She wrote alongside some images that she shared on her Instagram: "After the busiest few months.... she's finally in." She added a house emoji and a padlock and key emoji.
The drama comes after reports suggest that Maura is heading for an awkward run-in with McFly's Danny Jones at this year's National Television Awards. It will be their first joint public appearance since they became embroiled in a scandal after they were seen kissing at a BRIT Awards after-party, despite Danny being married.
Speaking to The Sun, they said: 'Danny is expected to attend the NTAs on September 10, as have all previous reigning jungle winners — and Maura is also going."
The source added: 'There will have to be some clever choreography to ensure they don't end up next to each other when walking the red carpet, but they could both end up on stage if I'm A Celebrity wins. Maura won't be answering any questions about the kiss. She's put the incident behind her and feels she has nothing to be ashamed of."

Tommy Fury's three harsh words for KSI as he reveals intense feud with YouTuber
Love Island star and boxer Tommy Fury discussed his hatred for YouTube star KSI in a recent chat ahead of the release of Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury Tommy Fury had a few harsh words for rival KSI ahead of the release of his documentary, Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury. The programme shows scenes from his fight with the YouTuber in 2023 as well as his more recent fight with Darren Till, which was part of a promo for KSI's Misfits. There are also scenes from a conferences where things get heated between Love Island star Tommy and KSI. His dislike for KSI hasn't changed over the years, with Tommy - who recently admitted to having a 'horrible' year due to social media backlash - saying he 'hates' the content creator. "I'm not interested in what he's doing. Couldn't give a b***ocks," he said. It comes after Tyson Fury's huge net worth is revealed as Morecambe face going out of business. Tommy also had a feud with Jake Paul, who he also beat in the ring. Jake once said he would want a rematch with Tommy, which the Love Island star is willing to take part in. "If he wants beating twice, I'll beat him twice, simple as that really. If he thinks he can come and win, let him try like the first time, and it went horribly wrong for him," the star explained to Cosmopolitan UK. "These two guys [Paul and KSI], if I'm not fighting them, I don't care about them. I don't follow them, I'm not interested in what they do. And they're just opponents to me." Tommy recently discussed his split from Molly-Mae, with who he shares Bambi. His life came crashing down following a fight in January 2024 that saw him damage his hand. He was unable to train and the lack of discipline left his life in tatters. He turned to drink after hitting "rock bottom", which resulted in him losing his fiancé and two-year-old Bambi. Molly-Mae made the drastic decision to move out of their family home as Tommy grappled with his drinking struggles. 'I had enough drink to last me a lifetime in 2024,' he confessed. "Suddenly, one day, you find that all you can do is sit down and then a few of them (drinks), it takes the pain away. You forget where you are, you forget what's going on. And sometimes you want that feeling all the time, and that's where obviously it starts." Tommy admitted: 'Now, when I look at that person from back then, I don't even recognise that guy. It's just not me. Back then, I didn't really care about anything. It was like the world going by, wasn't bothered, and that's just not me.' The boxer hasn't cut drink out of his life, but said he is now barely touching alcohol. 'Going forward, if it's a wedding or something like that, I might have a couple of drinks. Four or five times a week is something nobody should be doing," he said.

Skibidi, delulu, tradwife, mouse jiggler: The new words being added to the Cambridge Dictionary
Thousands of new words, including popular social media slang such as "Skibidi", "tradwife", and "delulu", are set to be added to the Cambridge Dictionary this year. Over 6,000 terms will join the lexicon, reflecting modern life with additions like "mouse jiggler" from remote working, and "forever chemical" highlighting climate change concerns. Slang term 'skibidi', a jibberish word, joined the world 's largest online dictionary in the past 12 months. Defined in the dictionary as 'a word that can have different meanings such as 'cool' or 'bad', or can be used with no real meaning as a joke', an example of its use is: 'What the skibidi are you doing?' The term was coined by the creator of a viral animated video series called 'skibidi toilet' on YouTube, Cambridge Dictionary said, and Kim Kardashian revealed her familiarity with the phrase when she posted a video on Instagram in October showing a necklace her daughter had given her as a birthday present, engraved with 'skibidi toilet'. 'Internet culture is changing the English language and the effect is fascinating to observe and capture in the dictionary,' said Colin McIntosh, lexical programme manager at Cambridge Dictionary. 'Tradwife', short for traditional wife, has also grown in popularity, Cambridge Dictionary said, thanks to the digital world. Meaning, a married woman who stays at home doing cooking, cleaning, and has children that she takes care of, the dictionary definition also says a 'tradwife' is 'especially one who posts on social media'. As well as new phrases, some shortened versions of existing terms have been added, including 'delulu', a play on the world delusional, with a similar definition: 'believing things that are not real or true, usually because you choose to'. Mr McIntosh said Cambridge Dictionary only adds words which they believe will stand the test of time. 'It's not every day you get to see words like 'skibidi' and 'delulu' make their way into the Cambridge Dictionary,' he said. 'We only add words where we think they'll have staying power.' Cambridge Dictionary uses the Cambridge English Corpus, a database of more than two billion words of written and spoken English, to observe how new words are used by different people, how often and in what contexts they are used. More remote working since the pandemic helped 'mouse jiggler', meaning a device or piece of software used to make it seem as though you are working when you are not, gain its place in the dictionary. Some composite terms such as 'broligarchy' were also added. Merging 'bro' and 'oligarchy', the term means 'a small group of men, especially men owning or involved in a technology business, who are extremely rich and powerful, and who have or want political influence', and was used to describe tech leaders Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg attending Donald Trump's inauguration in January. Meanwhile, new entries like 'work wife' and 'work spouse' acknowledge workplace relationships where two people help and trust each other, Cambridge Dictionary said.
