Fire near San Leandro BART station disrupts East Bay service
Bay Area Rapid Transit service in much of the East Bay is being disrupted for the Tuesday morning commute due to an earlier fire on the San Leandro station.
According to witnesses, the fire broke out shortly before 5 a.m. Additional details about the fire were not immediately available.
Service on multiple lines have been halted as a result. As of 7 a.m., there is no Blue Line, Green Line or Orange Line service between the Lake Merritt station in Oakland, the Berryessa station in North San Jose and the Dublin / Pleasanton station.
There is currently no Blue, Green or Orange line service between Lake Merritt, Berryessa and Dublin Stations due to issues related to a fire near San Leandro Station.

MBTA shuts down parts of Green Line for 4 days due to maintenance work
In Boston, parts of the Green Line are now closed through Sunday for routine maintenance work. This includes the B, C, D and E branches. Good news: the Green Line is getting its tracks together. Bad news: it's during an inconvenient time for commuters who rely on it every day in the center of Boston. "It's difficult," said commuter Sam Petri. "I know they have to do it, I'm happy they're upgrading it. It's nice to see that but wish they could plan it a little bit better you know. Just typical Boston always having traffic at the worst time." All 4 Green Line branches affected From Wednesday night through Sunday, parts of the Green Line will be closed for maintenance work. The MBTA said it will "ensure that all infrastructure is in peak operating condition, and includes inspections, adjustments, and repairs to keep the system safe and running smoothly." The suspended area starts at North Station and extends to Babcock Street on the B line. Kenmore on the C and D lines and Heath Street on the E line. Free shuttle buses will replace trains on all four branches. "I feel like this happens every other day something goes wrong, what can you do just try to roll with the punches," said Green Line rider Christian Aspelly. "I just think it's inconvenient because we wanted to come here so we wouldn't be stuck in traffic and now we're going to be stuck here longer than we would be in traffic anyways," said Green Line rider Abby Moynihan. Instead, riders can use the Orange Line between Back Bay and North Station and take shuttle buses for service elsewhere. More service disruptions are coming this month. Next up will be parts of the Blue Line between Bowdoin and Orient Heights on Friday June 7th.

New bus line launches in Downtown Fort Worth, replacing Molly the Trolley
A new bus line is launching in Fort Worth, helping visitors and residents alike get around Cowtown. The Blue Line is replacing Molly the Trolley, which will officially end its services on June 7, according to Trinity Metro. The Blue Line will begin its service the following day, June 8. "Much like the Orange Line, Trinity Metro's Blue Line will provide a necessary connection for residents and tourists to some of Fort Worth's iconic destinations," said Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker. "The color-coded lines are very appealing for riders and the overall look raises the bar for an outstanding transit experience." The Blue Line will connect downtown shops, dining and hotels and have stops near the Fort Worth Convention Center, Fort Worth Water Gardens and Sundance Square. The free service will be available daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with stops every seven minutes. "Offering rides every 7 minutes is very convenient and a great incentive for riders to hop on board," said Bob Jameson, president and CEO of Visit Fort Worth. "The complimentary bus route supports a growing convention business in our downtown and is one more example of the welcome extended to our visitors."

Here are the Central Indiana pools and when they open: The following pools and beaches open Saturday, May 31, according to a news release from Indy Parks: Brookside Park: 3500 Brookside Pkwy S. Drive Eagle Creek Beach: 7840 W. 56th St. Ellenberger Park: 5301 E. St Clair St. Frederick Douglass Park: 1425 E. 25th St. Garfield Park: 2450 S. Shelby St. Indy Island Indoor Pool: 8300 E.
