Taking to Instagram a few days ago, the 48-year-old told her 453k followers: "We think our gorgeous little kitten, Sabrina, was hit by a car yesterday evening but despite breaking her pelvis, she managed to crawl back to the house to tell us that she was hurt.
"It was heartbreaking to see. After overnight emergency care, she is now with @profnoelfitzpatrick at his hospital where I'm certain she will receive the best care possible."
Alex shared how Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick treated Sabrina following emergency care for her broken pelvis, and she described him as the 'light at the end of a pretty scary 24 hours'.

As Alex explained to her fans: 'We were due to come to the Lake District the middle of last week and obviously all of this happened, but we did eventually make it.
'Noel said, you know, she needs to stay with me anyway so you might as well go, because the kids were traumatised by the whole thing and disappointed - so we did come, and I'm so glad."
Luckily, Sabrina, who was introduced by Alex to her followers back in March, was said to be on the mend.

Chiefs star Chris Jones makes emotional confession about his love life after messy split from ex-girlfriend

Chris Jones is on the hunt for love. That's if his recent confession about his love life is anything to go by. The Kansas City Chiefs star split from his girlfriend of nearly a decade earlier this year as she accused him of 'infidelity'. However, it appears Jones is now ready to settle down as he shared a shocking admission about his love life. During Chiefs training camp, the players were asked what was one thing on their bucket list that they haven't completed yet, and Jones's answer raised eyebrows. 'I just wanna be loved. I just wanna be married,' Jones said in a TikTok clip shared by the Chiefs' official account. His confession comes just four months after his former girlfriend accused him of cheating amid a seemingly messy split. Sheawna Weathersby, who has been pictured alongside Taylor Swift at several Kansas City games in recent seasons, was in a relationship with the three-time Super Bowl-winning defensive tackle for nine years before parting 'months ago,' she said in March. Earlier this weeks, fans began to speculate that Jones and Weathersby had split after he shared a loved-up photo with another mystery woman - only identified as Giselle - on his Instagram story before quickly deleting it. Giselle also posted a snap of her and Chris enjoying what looked like a romantic meal before removing the post. The pair both appear to have since deactivated their Instagram accounts. And amid confusion over the state of their relationship, Sheawna has confirmed she and the NFL player - who share two children in Christopher Jones II, six, and Carson Dakota, two - are no longer together after accusing him of cheating in an astonishing statement. She wrote on her Instagram story: 'I'm choosing to focus on the positive as I close this chapter on a 9-year relationship. Unfortunately, Chris' infidelity with the woman he's recently been pictured with, led to my decision to end our relationship months ago. Jones' ex went on to allege that the girl in question has a history of 'harassment, stalking and disrespect' towards her, even claiming she was forced to change her phone number as a result. 'I'm proud to say I chose to prioritize my own wellbeing and healing journey,' she added. 'As I embark on this new chapter, I'm excited for the opportunities and growth that await me. I trust that God will transform the pain into something beautiful.' Back in January, Jones suggested he and Weathersby were no longer together when he shared a meme on X that read: 'I'm like 106% single'. Jones and a mystery woman shared these loved-up photos in March before deleting them When a fan replied telling him he is not single, the 30-year-old bluntly replied: 'I am'. He also shared a cryptic meme on the social-media platform in March, which read: 'It's okay to disappear to find yourself again.' Jones wrote as the caption: 'Sincerely,' along with a snake emoji. Chris and Sheawna had formed a close relationship with his Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce and Swift, who has dated the latter for close to two years, before splitting in recent months. Travis and Taylor even sent the couple some surprise Christmas gifts at the end of last year. Sheawna took to Instagram to gush over multiple wrapped gifts under her Christmas tree along with a card that read 'Merry Christmas from Travis and Taylor.' They appeared to send Kelce's teammate and his partner a Santa gift bag and a rose-print wrapped box, as well as a rare Louis Vuitton 200 bottle of champagne bottled in Anchay, France. 'So blessed & grateful this holiday season,' Sheawna wrote as the caption. 'Thank youuuu, Tay Tay!!!' Sheawna has formed a close-knit friendship with Taylor, who has appeared on her Instagram account multiple times - including on November 29 when the Chiefs faced the Las Vegas Raiders and on October 8 during a match against the Minnesota Vikings.

Suspended EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick attends Oasis concert at Wembley with co-stars as offensive slur scandal rumbles on

EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick brushed off the scandal surrounding his suspension from the sap, as he joined his co-stars for a night out at Oasis' reunion show at Wembley on Wednesday. The soapstar, 31, who has played Jay Brown for 19 years, was suspended by the BBC in June after he used a slur aimed at disabled people on the set of Strictly. In his first Instagram post since the scandal broke, Jamie joined Tony Clay and Natalie Cassidy as well as her partner Marc Humphreys. Sharing some photos to his Story the group got into the Britpop spirit, wearing bucket hats and Oasis merchandise. Jamie could been seen singing-a-long to the band's hit songs in the crowd while Natalie cheered. BBC bosses are reportedly facing questions over the difference in treatment John Torode and Jamie after both used 'offensive language'. The MasterChef star, 59, has been sacked after allegedly 'used the N-word twice while singing along to a Kanye West song'. According to The Sun, bosses at the BBC are being questioned over a disparity in how both situations have been handled - with one star sacked and the other suspended. A source said: 'The difference in treatment between John and Jamie - for very similar incidents - has left questions to be answered. 'The BBC have tied themselves into knots with this - for them both stars appear to have used unacceptable and offensive language but only one has been sacked while another has kept his lucrative salary and got away with just a suspension.' 'Disabled colleagues have been left wondering why incidents of ableist slurs seemingly aren't being taken as seriously as racist language and there are no clear answers coming from bosses,' the source added. A spokesperson for the BBC told MailOnline: 'Whilst we do not comment on any individual matter, each case is always considered on its own facts. 'We are very clear on our expectations that inappropriate behaviour and language will not be tolerated.' A video obtained by The Sun in June, showed soap actor Jamie using the term 'm********s' to describe residents of Blackpool where the show was being filmed at the time. He was reportedly backstage during rehearsals with Wynne Evans who could be heard saying 'Oh my God' when he made the remark. He has since issued an apology, sharing that he did not fully understand the derogatory nature of the term he used but now that he is aware, he is 'deeply embarrassed'. The Sun reported at the time that Jamie told a former partner how it was 'not clear' if he would return to EastEnders and quoted him as saying: 'I accept the karma that has come my way due to some bad choices.' It continued that Jamie told how he was now 'attempting to write the wrongs in my life'. He added he wanted to 'sincerely apologise for the mistakes I made and for hurting you and how I handled the whole situation'.

Denise Richards gets major makeover from Jennifer Aniston's hair guru amid bitter fight with ex, see her now

Denise Richards turned to celebrity hair guru Chris McMillan for an updated look this week. The 54-year-old actress — who is going through an ugly divorce from estranged husband Aaron Phypers — sought out the stylist for a refresh, which he shared on Instagram. In a joint post with the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Chris shared multiple photos of their salon session and a detailed breakdown of his service. 'LOVE ME SOME @deniserichards,' he began the caption, adding, 'Finally all grown out and healthy long BRONDE hair.' He gushed about the Hollywood fixture, 'I've known Denise 30 years now and she is the kindest, sweetest, most loving human ever. All we do is LAUGH. Makes my day when I see her every time.' Chris noted that he cut Denise's hair into 'loose long layers,' giving it 'loose movement' to complement her 'big blue eyes and infectious smile.' His cut, along with color applied by KC Carhart Speers, helped her 'achieve natural effortless hair.' For her part, Denise shared a photo from her salon visit via Instagram Stories and thanked the hair expert. She soundtracked Lenny Kravitz's song Fly Away and wrote, 'Thank you, Chris, for my haircut and making me laugh today. I love you and I love your new products!' Denise looked bright-eyed and upbeat in the smiley images, which showed her dressed in a pair of olive green overalls. It comes after last week her estranged spouse Aaron, 52, alleged that she has been having a months-long affair with a former special forces soldier named Rudy Reyes. He claimed in a detailed letter to 'family and close friends' that Reyes has showered her with X-rated photos and videos, including a graphic clip that shows him naked and pleasuring himself. In an exclusive interview with the Wild Things actress' outraged husband, who filed for divorce in early July, claimed he caught wind of his wife's alleged affair in April. He said she had promised to break it off, only for him to catch her lying about another hook-up with 53-year-old Rudy that took place at a Hilton Garden Inn in Burbank, California, the following month. He claimed his discovery of the May tryst then led to an explosive argument over the July 4th holiday weekend, during which she smashed his phone. After Aaron filed divorce paperwork on July 7, Denise hit back a week later with a request for a temporary restraining order (which she was granted) that included a laundry list of domestic abuse allegations — all of which her husband has denied. He said he is waiting for an upcoming August court hearing in which a judge will decide if the order is lifted, and until then, he is banned from going near his estranged wife and their adopted daughter Eloise, 14, whom he says he adores and misses terribly.
