Shocked at their irresponsibility: Shilpa Shirodkar on how a bus rammed into her car
Actress
Shilpa Shirodkar
Ranjit has accused bus company Cityflo of 'irresponsibility' after one of its vehicles rammed into her car on the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road on Wednesday morning.
While Shilpa was not in the car at the time, her driver was injured and left limping, and her maid escaped unhurt.
'The bus came from behind and rammed my car. My maid is safe, but my driver got hurt,' she said.
The actress alleged that when she contacted Cityflo, the company representatives asked her to 'settle the matter with the driver' instead of
taking responsibility. 'I was shocked — such a big bus company asking the driver, who earns a small salary, to take responsibility. Two gentlemen from the company told me to go to court and settle it through them,' she said, adding that her car had suffered major damage.
Shilpa has lodged a complaint at MIDC police station, where she says officers have been 'very supportive' and assured her of action. 'Hopefully this makes people aware that such negligence should not be taken lightly,' she said.
Shilpa was last seen in
Bigg Boss
. The actress has been part of many Bollywood films like Kishan Kanhaiya, Khuda Gawah and Gopi Kishan. The actress in an earlier interview shared how she enjoyed her journey on Bigg Boss. She said, "I lost a lot of weight and became fitter during my journey on the show. The journey was such that you tend to lose weight and you are also away from family."

Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's 'War 2', the latest addition to YRF's spy universe, witnessed a noticeable dip on Day 3 after a strong start at the box office. Despite the fall, the film has managed to collect nearly Rs 143–144 crore in India within three days and has already crossed the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide. With this, the film has overtaken the lifetime business of 'Sky Force' and 'Sikandar', becoming the seventh highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2025 so to Sacnilk, the film opened with a massive Rs 52 crore nett on Thursday, followed by an impressive Rs 57.35 crore on Friday, thanks to the holiday boost. However, Saturday saw collections slip to an estimated Rs 33 crore across all languages, bringing the India nett total to Rs 142.35 crore. Industry trackers now pin hopes on Sunday for a strong recovery to push the film past Rs 150 crore in the Hindi version continues to lead in collections, while Jr NTR's presence has ensured strong numbers in Telugu-speaking markets, where the film has already crossed Rs 35 crore in three days. The Tamil version has also performed steadily, recording higher occupancies on Day 3 compared to Hindi. Cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru reported stronger footfalls, while metros like Delhi and Mumbai remained relatively lukewarm. Occupancy trends highlight the dip: the Hindi version registered 31.42% on Saturday, while Tamil recorded 49% and Telugu 42%. Even so, the film's early performance is far ahead of recent Bollywood releases, and it has already surpassed Salman Khan's 'Sikandar', which wrapped at Rs 110 crore in by Ayan Mukerji, 'War 2' features Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani in lead roles, with Ashutosh Rana and Anil Kapoor in supporting parts. Though it hasn't matched the record-breaking benchmarks set by Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' or Salman Khan's 'Tiger' films in the same spy universe, 'War 2' remains a strong contender at the box office and one of 2025's biggest Bollywood successes so far.- Ends
