How much Milan and Galatasaray will receive for complicated Morata sale to Como

Yahoo07-08-2025
Como are finally on the verge of wrapping up a deal for former Juventus, Real Madrid and Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata, in a deal that will raise valuable funds for both Milan and Galatasaray.
Morata joined Milan from Atletico Madrid for a fee of €13m just under a year ago, but failed to impress in an underwhelming season on a collective level, and ended up on loan in Istanbul by the end of the January transfer window.
Galatasaray had agreed to take Morata on a year-long loan deal until the following winter, in a deal that included an option to extend the deal until the summer of 2026 and an option to make the move permanent.
However, as Cesc Fabregas has been pushing to bring his former Chelsea and Spain national team colleague to Como, they and Milan have had to negotiate a termination of the player's loan agreement with Galatasaray.

According to reports from Daniele Longo and others on Thursday, Galatasaray will receive a fee of €3m plus up to €2m in bonuses, which is down from the €6m fee they had previously sought.
Milan, meanwhile, will send Morata out on loan to Como with an obligation to buy. The Rossoneri will receive €1m for the loan and €8m once the move is made permanent.

Report – Inter Milan Eye Late Summer Swoop For Chelsea Defender Despite €30M Price Tag

Serie A runners-up Inter Milan look set to rival Juventus for the signature of versatile Chelsea defender Renato Veiga. According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri could make a late bid for the Portuguese star. Renato Veiga spent last season on loan at the Allianz Stadium after failing to secure regular first-team football in London. However, Juventus failed to make his transfer permanent at the end of the campaign. Therefore, he has returned to Stamford Bridge, only for Chelsea to put him back on the market. As such, Inter are keeping close tabs on Veiga. Despite falling out of favor at Chelsea, the 22-year-old won't come cheap, with the Blues slapping a €30 million price tag on his head. Still, the Nerazzurri could make a late summer attempt to sign the ex-Basel man.

Report – Inter Milan Line Up Last-Minute Moves For Arsenal & Chelsea Defenders

Inter Milan have reportedly added Arsenal and Chelsea defenders Jakub Kiwior and Trevoh Chalobah to their summer shortlist. According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri could make a late swoop for one of them. With Udinese unlikely to let Oumar Solet leave the club toward the end of the summer, Inter must expand their search for a new defender. Indeed, they've already set their sights on Chelsea outcast Renato Veiga. However, Juventus are keen to re-sign the player, who spent last season on loan in Turin. Despite joining Arsenal with high expectations, the former Spezia defender could return to Serie A sooner than expected. Yet, Cristian Chivu's side would be wise to accelerate their pursuit of the Pole as they face competition from Porto. Meanwhile, Chalobah is another name in Beppe Marotta's notebook, though his acquisition appears more complicated.
