Ajay Devgn is gearing up for Son Of Sardaar 2 that releases on July 25. The first film came out on Diwali 2012 and clashed with Yash Chopra's swansong Jab Tak Hai Jaan. There was a fallout between Devgn and YRF for screen-space and the actor filed a complaint in the Competition Commission of India.
In an interview with The Lallantop, Kajol addressed the issue that happened 13 years ago and said, 'Fights are always difficult, especially when they remain unresolved for some time. At that point, when you have a situation like that in front of you, both parties were standing for themselves.'

She added, 'As somebody who was connected to both sides, I felt helpless. You have to wait for time to pass, so that the feelings subside. So that things can become ok again.'
Actor Kajol says maintaining work-life balance has always been a priority since she started acting in the 1990s and the journey became easier with the support of her family as well as the producers.
'I was one of the few people who worked on one film at a time; I didn't do 4 films at the same time (like other actors). I used to finish one film, then start another. I didn't work for 20 or 30 hours. I was always very clear that we would work a certain amount only, and my mom also backed me up big time on it,' the 50-year-old actor told PTI in an interview.
Actor Deepika Padukone's alleged exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit' after the two did not agree over an eight-hour working shift among other conditions has sparked a discussion around shooting hours in the industry.

Vindu Dara Singh Slams Pakistan For Fostering Terrorism: ‘Shame On Those People'

Vindu Dara Singh spoke about India's match against Pakistan in the upcoming Asia Cup. He also slammed Pakistan for harbouring terrorists on its soil. Ever since the deadly attack in Pahalgam, India's relations with Pakistan have deteriorated. Amid the ongoing tensions between the two countries, Son of Sardaar 2 actor Vindu Dara Singh spoke strongly against Pakistan's role in fostering terrorism. The 61-year-old actor also weighed in on the ongoing debate following the announcement of the Asia Cup fixture between the two nations. In the Asia Cup 2025, India is placed in Group A, alongside Pakistan. The two countries will face off against each other on September 14. Singh shared that sports should bring people together. 'We all know whatever has been going on, but sports is a different field," Vindu told ANI. Vindu Dara Singh On Pakistan The actor further urged Pakistan to stop harbouring terrorist groups on their soil as it would ultimately lead to their global isolation. He added, 'Pakistan needs to realise that they are losing out by doing wrong to India… We want peace, but they need to initiate this time. They are the ones who cause the problem. India has never attacked any country first. Shame on those people in Pakistan who support terrorism." Vindu's comment came just days after the announcement of the Asia Cup 2025 fixture between India and Pakistan. The tournament, organised by the Asian Cricket Council, is scheduled to take place from September 9 to September 25 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Initially, India was supposed to host the tournament. But the recent military tensions between the countries following the deadly attack in Pahalgam has forced the authorities to organise the tournament at a neutral venue, the UAE. The terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam on April 22 claimed the lives of 26 people. Post the attack, India launched a series of precision strikes under Operation Sindoor in May to destroy terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. The two countries were involved in a military conflict before a ceasefire was announced on May 10. What's Vindu Dara Singh's Next Project? The actor is set to appear in the comedy film Son of Sardaar 2, starring Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan and Sanjay Mishra. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film is set to be released theatrically on August 1. The movie will also feature Mukul Dev posthumously. Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Did You Know War 2's 'India First' Oath Is Co-Written By YRF Head Aditya Chopra?

Last Updated: Yash Raj Films released the War 2 trailer, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film's India First oath was co-written by producer Aditya Chopra. War 2 Movie Update: Yash Raj Films has released the trailer for the most anticipated Indian movie of the year, War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, who engage in a fierce and relentless battle. The trailer went viral in no time, featuring superstars from both North and South. One of the key moments from the trailer was the oath taken by Hrithik and NTR, pledging to save India at any cost. For the unversed, it was written by both Aditya Chopra and Shridhar Raghavan, the head writer of the YRF Spy Universe franchise. Kiara Advani plays the female lead. Shridhar Raghavan revealed that YRF head Aditya Chopra had a clear idea in mind before penning the oath. He revealed, 'Adi was clear that no plot points of War 2 should be revealed in the trailer. So, we created a fictional oath for agents during their induction into covert task forces, as they prepare to sacrifice everything to protect our motherland. This oath reflects the intense, dramatic story of the film. With War 2 and each film, we reveal more about the shadowy world of the YRF Spy Universe—who these agents are, what links them, and their origin stories." He added, 'As the trailer shows, Hrithik and NTR are mirror images, extraordinary and ferocious soldiers bound by duty to protect India. But why are they battling each other? What twist of destiny has set them on this explosive collision course? The idea was to build intrigue around this." Shridhar further elaborated on the 'India First' element mentioned in the trailer. 'INDIA FIRST has always been the driving force for every agent in the Spy Universe, binding them together. We clearly articulate it as a motto here because it plays a crucial role in War 2. It is the heart and soul of the film. From now on, India First will be the war cry of every agent in the YRF Spy Universe," he said. The YRF Spy Universe oath The YRF spy universe oath, said by Hrithik Roshan, at the start of War 2 trailer, can be read: 'Main shapath leta hun – Ki main apna naam, apni pehchaan, apna ghar, parivaar sab tyaag kar ek saaya ban jaunga. Ek gumnaam… benaam… anjaan saaya. Main shapath leta hun – Main woh sab karunga… jo koi aur nahin kar sakta. Jo jung koi nahin lad sakta… woh main ladunga. Har dost, har saathi, har us chehre se munh mod lunga jise kabhi pyaar kiya. Aur palat kar kabhi peeche nahin dekhunga. Achai burai, sahi galat, paap punya ki har lakeer ko mita dunga. Main woh balidaan dunga jiska koi gawaah nahin hoga. Jiski keemat main apni jaan se… ya phir apni aatma se chukaunga. Ab main insaan nahin sirf ek hathyar hun… Jung ka hathyar ya to maarunga ya phir marunga. Death Before Dishonour. Service Before Self. India First. YRF is celebrating 25 years of cinematic legacy with Hrithik Roshan, NTR and Kiara Advani through War 2 promotions. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, this YRF Spy Universe film is set to release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil on August 14, 2025 worldwide. Kajol Cheers For Daughter Nysa At Graduation Ceremony. Internet: "Anjali From K3G Energy'

New Delhi: Kajol enjoyed her very own Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham moment at daughter Nysa Devgn's graduation ceremony. Nysa, the daughter of Kajol and Ajay Devgn, earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in International Hospitality from the prestigious Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland. A video of Kajol cheering enthusiastically for Nysa Devgn at her graduation has now gone viral. Some fans are even comparing it to a hilarious scene from Kajol's 2001 movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, where she played the role of the bubbly Anjali. The clip opens to the professors calling Nysa Devgn on the stage for her to collect the certificate. She is seen wearing a traditional black robe over a lilac dress, coupled with a graduation cap. While some of the attendees started applauding when Nysa Devgn received her degree, it was Kajol's boisterous cheer that stood out the most. 'Come on, baby,' she was heard saying. A fan page shared the clip on X with a side note that read, 'Congratulations Nysa!!! (In the chaos of hundreds, I can actually hear Kajol's 'C'mon babyyyy!!' so clearly)." Congratulations Nysa!!! (In the chaos of 100s I can actually hear Kajol's "C'mon babyyyy!!" So clearly ????) — Daughter of SRKajol (@OfSrkajol) July 26, 2025 This footage reminded fans of the iconic scene from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. In the particular sequence, Kajol's Anjali cheered loudly and blew whistles for her son at a school function. Reacting to the clip, a fan pointed out, 'This is so Anjali from K3g energy.' Another wrote, 'She is truly the real-life Anjali. ' Haaye… meri beti (Oh my dear daughter).'' 'More like KKKG scene,' commented one person. An individual called Kajol's gesture 'the Anjali in her.' Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham, directed by Karan Johar, also featured Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in key roles. Previously, Kajol, in a conversation with Zoom, heaped praise on her daughter. She said, 'Nysa's very smart and has common sense.... Some of the time, that common sense flies out the window. But I'm able to get through to her, and we figure out situations together. I'm very grateful to have her in my life. She's wonderful, snarky, has a great sense of humour, and a very different perspective on life and the world.' Workwise, Kajol's latest film Sarzameen released on JioHotstar on July 25.
