His single 'That's on Me' reached the top of the rap/R&B radio charts just prior to the shooting.
In 2021, Yella Beezy was arrested on three different occasions for charges related to firearms, guns and a sexual assault charge. He also faced a charge of child endangerment.
Mo3, real name Melvin Nobel, was driving on Interstate 35 just south of the Dallas Zoo on Nov. 11, 2020, when he was shot and killed by someone in a black Chevy Camaro. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Mo3 was known for hit singles 'Errybody,' 'Outside' and 'Broken Love.'
On social media, his mother, Nichole Williams Noble, called the charges 'justice.'
Two other men, Kewon Dontrell White, 22, and Devin Maurice Brown Jr., 27, are also facing charges in connection with Mo3's death. White is currently serving a prison sentence for firearms charges connected to the shooting, and Brown is being held in the Dallas County Jail.

Leland Vittert: Jan. 6 ‘has nothing to do' with crime in D.C.
NewsNation host Leland Vittert pushed back on Democrats and other critics of President Trump who have cited the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol as evidence the president does not care about violent crime in D.C. 'Jan. 6 was awful. I was in the middle of it. I was confronted by the mob, on multiple occasions' Vittert said on his nightly show, calling the attack 'a stain on our country's history.' 'But it was four years ago,' he continued. 'It has nothing to do with the current crime epidemic in D.C.' Vittert's comment came a night after he hosted progressive pundit Medhi Hasan for a segment on Trump's crime crackdown in Washington, during which Hasan said of the president 'if he cared about crime in D.C., why did he pardon 600 people who assaulted police officers?' The host shot back, arguing, 'You're going to sit here and say, 'if Trump cures cancer, Jan. 6 was terrible.'' 'The fact is you can't have an argument about what's happening on the streets of D.C. without going back to Jan. 6,' Vittert added. Trump this week declared a crime emergency in the district, seizing control of the local police force and deploying National Guard troops to patrol its streets. The move is being widely condemned by Democrats, who argue crime is down in D.C. and warn Trump is overstepping his authority as president.

Executive Order #20-30, directs flags to be lowered on all state buildings, grounds, and facilities from sunup to sundown. Cardi B Joins Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé And Rihanna
In about a month, Cardi B will release one of the most highly anticipated sophomore albums in history. Am I the Drama? is scheduled to arrive more than seven years after she broke out in a major way with Invasion of Privacy. The rapper has been pushing tunes from the forthcoming set for years, and her latest, 'Outside,' is still working its way up several Billboard charts. Just before she shares 'Imaginary Players,' the next promotional cut from the full-length, 'Outside' soars at radio — where Cardi is still a favorite — and helps her join an incredibly exclusive club on one specific tally. 'Outside' Jumps to No. 1 'Outside' climbs from No. 3 to No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay chart. Cardi earns her ninth career No. 1 on the radio list. As her current focus cut soars, she claims the fifth-most leaders of all time among female musicians. Cardi B Joins Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat Rihanna leads the charge among women with 17 No. 1s on the Rhythmic Airplay chart. Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj are tied for second place with 12 each. Doja Cat follows with 11 winners. Cardi B's History on the Rhythmic Airplay Chart Throughout her career, Cardi has sent 36 tunes to the Rhythmic Airplay chart. 21 of them have broken into the top 10. Nearly half have now reached No. 1, and she could collect a milestone tenth in the coming weeks as excitement around Am I the Drama? builds. Cardi B's Many No. 1 Smashes About half of Cardi's No. 1s have spent just a single frame on top. 'I Like It' with Bad Bunny and J Balvin and her breakout smash 'Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)' are tied as her longest-running leaders, with four weeks at the summit apiece. 'Up' managed three stays on the throne, while 'Finesse' with Bruno Mars and 'No Limit' alongside G-Eazy and ASAP Rocky racked up just two turns. 'Outside' could match those latter tunes in about a week when Billboard refreshes its rankings, if it holds. 'Outside' Rises on Multiple Radio Lists While 'Outside' declines on the Rap Digital Song Sales chart and sits in lower positions on several other lists, it is gaining ground on almost every airplay ranking it appears on. Cardi also conquers the Rap Airplay ranking and moves within striking distance of the summit on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay list as 'Outside' rises from No. 3 to No. 2.
