Lava Blaze Dragon price and availability
Lava Blaze Dragon will be available at an introductory price of Rs 8,999, including limited-time bank offers. Customers can avail a Rs 1,000 discount through select partner banks during Amazon's Great Freedom Festival. An additional Rs 1,000 discount will be available on exchanging any smartphone, regardless of the brand.
The smartphone will receive one Android version upgrade and two years of security updates. It will go on sale starting August 1, 2025, at 12 AM, exclusively on Amazon.

Lava Blaze Dragon features
Lava Blaze Dragon smartphone comes powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. As revealed by the company, the device has an AnTuTu benchmark score of 450,000 and comes with 4GB RAM and an additional 4GB virtual RAM. It uses UFS 3.1 storage technology to support faster app loading and smooth multitasking.
The phone features a 6.74-inch display and runs on stock Android 15 without any bloatware or ads. It includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking and is available in two colour variants—Golden Mist and Midnight Mist.
For photography, the Blaze Dragon is equipped with a 50MP AI rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging via a USB Type-C port.
The device is available with Lava's Free Service@Home offering, covering users across India. Customers can also visit retail outlets for service-related queries. Lava has stated that the Blaze Dragon will ship with a clean software experience, in line with its commitment to offering ad-free and bloatware-free devices.

1 2 Visakhapatnam : The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) organised Vani Row memorial lecture on the birth anniversary of the noted investment banker on Wednesday. Held annually on Aug 6, the event celebrates her remarkable life, legacy, and contributions, continuing to inspire future leaders. A native of Visakhapatnam and a distinguished alumna of IIM Ahmedabad, Vani Row was a globally respected consultant and investment banker who left an indelible mark in both India and the United States before her untimely demise. The chief guest, Uma Sudhindra, member of the board of governors at IIMV, delivered the keynote address. Drawing from more than three decades of people-focused professional experience, she offered insights on personal branding as a strategy, emphasising the core principles of clarity, consistency, credibility, and visibility.
