The BBC presenter released a video to his followers on Instagram, explaining how he fell victim.
He added: 'I did not think I would be the kind of person who could be scammed, but this proves it really can happen to anyone. Especially with the help and manipulation of AI.'

They penned: 'As an Italian.. no. That cheek is burnt.', 'It seems a bit overcooked this guanciale...', 'you already know you burnt the bacon.' Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their wedding vows last weekend, three years after tying the knot. A source close to the couple confirmed the news to Daily Mail, stating: 'This is a moment to celebrate their love and commitment, and to create a meaningful memory together.' Brooklyn and Nicola have been together since October 2019, and announced their engagement in July 2020. They then tied the knot in a lavish wedding on April 9, 2022, at Nicola's family estate in Florida. In fact, none of the Beckham family publicly congratulated them, including Romeo and Cruz who Brooklyn is said to have fallen out with.
