VILLARREAL have released a striking new home kit.
The LaLiga side have become renowned for their trademark yellow strips.
For decades, the Villarreal shirt has featured a minimalist yellow design.
Their recent Joma kits, in addition to previous designs by Xtep, Puma and Kelme have deviated little from their classic concept.
Although occasionally the strips have featured a little blue trim.
Their last to feature a significant difference was in the 2000-01 season, when the Kelme shirt featured plenty of blue.
But this year's effort has gone away from the norm.
In a glossy kit reveal, the Yellow Submarine revealed that their new strip features a solid blue vertical stripe down its front.
The trailer showed a designer scribbling away on a piece of paper, while manically repeating "It's always the same".
When they finished their work they added "This changes everything" before the kit was revealed.

Seeing the new shirt, one fan joked on social media: "Which team's kit is this? I don't recognise it."
While a second quipped: "Thank goodness it says Villarreal because with such a big change I didn't even know who you were."
