Mel B was joined by Melanie C and Emma Bunton as she celebrated her landmark birthday - with all three ladies looking wild and delightful in animal print outfits
Mel B had a mini Spice Girls reunion as she was joined by Melanie C and Emma Bunton to celebrate her 50th birthday. The music icon looked in high spirits as she paid tribute to half a century of life, with an energetic night of partying to mark the occasion.
The singer, known as Scary Spice, was joined by fellow Spice Girls stars Mel, 51, and Emma, 49 - with the trio stunning in leopard print. Birthday girl Mel looked elegant in a long sleeved shimmering mini dress with sequins arranged in animal print fashion.
While Mel C paid tribute to her Sporty Spice days by wearing a leopard print dress by sport brand Adidas. Emma also opted for a long-sleeved mini and looked thrilled to join the party with her bandmates. Throughout the night, the band danced along to music, including the band's hit, Holler.
On Sunday, Mel took to Instagram to share a video montage of her party - uploading the highlights reel to her main grid alongside a caption stating: "Heres to 50 !!! And allll thats to come."
Earlier in the week, Emma had marked the occasion by sharing a string of photos of herself with Mel from over the years alongside a caption reading: "Happy 50th @officialmelb! I'm not far behind you!!! From zig ah zig ahs to belly laughs. Hope you have the best day. Sending love and birthday hugs."
And Mel C had shared a string of images of her own along with a long caption. She wrote: "50 years on this planet my darling @officialmelb. Oh, the adventures we have had! I still remember the first day we met and thinking you were the coolest person I had ever seen, how is that over 30 years ago?!"
She continued: "I'm so proud of everything we have achieved and adversities you have not only overcome but have used to help others Mel B MBE Hon D Univ you're a f***ing rock star and I love you more than words can say. Looking forward to BIG celebrations soon! Happy Birthday you Northern nutter."
Fans noticed that both Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner - known as Posh Spice and Ginger Spice respectively - were absent from Mel's birthday celebrations. Mel and Geri have had a feisty friendship over the years - with Mel admitting she was left fuming when Geri quit their band at the peak of its fame in the 1990s.
Geri marked Mel's birthday when it passed on Thursday by sharing a snap of them in an Instagram post. She wrote at the time: "Happy 50th birthday @officialmelb wishing you a very wonderful year ahead."
It was something of a celebration-filled weekend for Melanie, as her fiancé, Rory McPhee, also celebrated his birthday. On Saturday, Mel shared a photo of them together via her Instagram page and added a gushing message about him.
She wrote: "My soon-to-be husband!! Happy birthdayyyy !!! I can't wait for a lifetime together with you to always having fun like only we no and laughing all the way together alwaysss I luv youuu my luv @rorymcphee."
Mel and Rory have been in a relationship since 2018, and they became engaged in October 2022. While their wedding date is currently unknown, it has been revealed that the singer and her hairdresser husband-to-be are planning to get married at St. Paul's Cathedral in London.
The Spice Girl icon revealed to TODAY in the USA recently that she is granted permission to marry at the iconic venue thanks to her status as a holder of a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) title.
She told the morning news show last month: "I got an MBE for all my charity work that I've been doing. It was actually Prince William that gave me my little honorary badge. And it's quite a big deal. I didn't realise how much of a big deal it was until I started reading about it, and then I started getting really nervous. It was really lovely. So, because of that, I am going to get married in the same church as Princess Diana.'

Chappell Roan's 'actually normal' bikini body revealed: see what the star looks like stripped down
Chappell Roan took to Instagram on Sunday night to share scantily clad photos with her 7.1 million followers. The 27-year-old pop star — who was recently mistaken for Anna Delvey — posed in a black bikini, showing off her stunning figure. One snapshot showed The Giver hitmaker giving fans an eyeful as she posed with her plump bottom on display in high-cut tie-string bikini bottoms. She captioned the carousel post, 'I am actually normal.' But Roan, born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, looked anything but ordinary as she showed off her striking beauty. Chappell looked typically gorgeous with her flaming-red curly locks falling around her. The images have so far collected 1.3 million likes from the singer's devoted online audience. It comes after earlier this year the entertainer ignited a generational divide when she said in an interview: 'I don't know a single person who is happy and has children at this age.' Recognized for her drag aesthetic and punchy feminist lyrics, Chappell identifies as a lesbian. While appearing on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, she was asked by the host if she would ever have children. She answered unequivocally: 'All of my friends who have kids are in hell. I don't know anyone who's happy and has children at this age.' The star reiterated, 'I have not met anyone who is happy, anyone who has light in their eyes, anyone who has slept [who has a child under five].' The remarks prompted a fiery debate online. Some moms insisted it 'was not an accurate or healthy message to peddle, particularly when the birth rate is down.' One person wrote: 'Chappell Roan going on Call Her Daddy saying none of her friends with kids are happy, is a prime example of why you cannot just vent to anyone.' Someone else wished, 'May the friendship of narcissistic childless women with no sense of loyalty ever find me.' Meanwhile, others related to Chappell's statements, with one person weighing in: 'The people who have made me most scared to become a mother are mothers. 'What Chappell said is all I see because lots of mothers I see are like, "This is miserable" and mothers can also be the most competitive, nasty and judgmental people.'

Renée Victor, the voice of no-nonsense Abuelita in 'Coco,' dies at 86
Renée Victor, who voiced the no-nonsense, sandal-throwing Abuelita in Disney's animated hit "Coco" and played the wisecracking Lupita on Showtime's "Weeds," has died. She was 86. Victor's death was confirmed Monday by a representative, Julie Smith, who said the actor had lymphoma for several years. She died Friday at her home in Sherman Oaks, California, Smith said, with family by her side. A post on the Instagram feed of Pixar, which produced "Coco," said: "We are heartbroken to hear of the passing of Renée Victor, the voice [of] Abuelita in 'Coco' and an incredible part of the Pixar family. We will always remember you." Victor appeared in 22 episodes of "Weeds" as sassy housekeeper Lupita between 2005 and 2012, among many other TV credits including "ER," "Matlock" and "The Addams Family." But she was perhaps best known for what she called the chancla-throwing grandmother in "Coco," the 2017 family-friendly movie that explored death through the journey of a young Mexican boy to the land of the dead. "I play the part of 'Abuelita,' the chancla throwing grandma that preaches 'No Music!'" she wrote on Instagram, looking back several years ago. "Enjoy 'Coco' with your family this Dia de los Muertos and forever more!" She also looked back at "The Apostle," the 1997 movie that Robert Duvall wrote, directed and starred in. "He took a chance on me with this film," Victor wrote on Instagram. "This is where I got my nickname 'one take Renée,'" she said, adding laughter emojis. "I had a small role but what a great one! Can somebody give me an amen?!" Born in San Antonio, Texas, on July 25, 1938, Victor began her performing career as a singer and dancer. She moved to Los Angeles in the 1960s, according to biography material provided by her representatives, where she launched her career singing with prominent big band leaders Xavier Cugat and Pérez Prado. She also taught Latin dancing, including salsa and the tango. She met her future husband, Ray, during that period, and from 1963 to 1973, they performed together as "Ray & Renée," a variety show that took them around the world — including Australia, where "they enjoyed particular fame," the materials said. In the 1970s, Victor hosted the "Pacesetters" public affairs show on KTLA, her representatives said, and by the '80s had moved into TV and film work. Her film credits, other than "The Apostle," included the 2014 horror film "Paranormal Activity 5: The Marked Ones," "The Doctor" with William Hurt (1991), and "A Night in Old Mexico" (2013), also with Duvall. In 2004, she had a recurring role as Florina Lopez on TV's "ER," and the following year was cast in "Weeds." Other series credits included "Snowpiercer" (2020-2021), "Mayans M.C." (2022), "Dead to Me" (2020-2022), and Amazon's "With Love" (2021-2023). Victor is survived by her daughters, Raquel and Margo Victor, Smith said.
