Two Kansas men killed Saturday when Dodge Ram truck collides with SUV
Two men died after a vehicle crash Saturday morning in western Kansas.
The men were identified as 31-year-old Sye Voth and 39-year-old Kenneth Crow, both of Scott City, a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol said.
Authorities responded at 9:53 a.m. to a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Eagle Road and Road 160 in rural Scott County. Voth and Crow died at the scene of the crash, according to the KHP.
Investigators learned that Voth was southbound on Eagle Road in a 2006 Subaru Tribeca, while Crow was driving east on Road 160 in 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. Voth failed to yield the right of way to Crow, causing the Ram to collide with the Tribeca, a KHP crash logs shows.
Both vehicles came to rest in a field south of Road 160.

Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash near Abilene
DICKINSON COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — A 64-year-old Oklahoma man was seriously injured Saturday morning in a crash on K-15 Highway in Dickinson County. The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 11:30 a.m. near mile marker 151, just north of 300 Avenue. A Harley-Davidson motorcycle rear-ended a Chevy Equinox that was turning east onto 300 Avenue. This area is just north of Abilene, where K-15 intersects with Interstate 70. Eight-car crash reported on I-635, two hurt, Kansas Highway Patrol says
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Eight cars were involved in a crash Saturday afternoon on Interstate 635 in Wyandotte County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. Two people were reported to have minor injuries. Overland Park Greek community celebrates St. Dionysios Festival The crash was reported before 12:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-635, north of Kansas Avenue near Kansas City, Kansas. According to a crash log from the highway patrol, a 24-year-old man in a GMC Sierra was traveling north on I-635 when he lost control and struck an Acura sedan driven by a 20-year-old man. The Acura spun out and caused one car after another to hit each other. In total, eight vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the highway patrol. The driver of the GMC Sierra was not injured. 2 arrested after chase that started in Villa Rica, involved 2 collisions, police say
Police say two people from Atlanta were arrested after a chase that stretched from Villa Rica to Carrolton on Thursday. The Villa Rica Police Department said the suspects' truck damaged three other vehicles, but no one was reportedly hurt. Police said the truck traveled slowly before coming to a stop in the fast lane on Highway 61. Once a second police unit arrived, officers tried to contact the driver, later identified as Kevin Lynch. Police said the truck hit two vehicles, and debris from one of those collisions struck a third vehicle. People in the truck were also seen throwing items out of the vehicle during the chase. Lynch and passenger Julia Brown were arrested on several charges. Lynch was charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of firearm by convicted felon, possession of a firearm during certain crimes, felony fleeing and eluding, several counts of hit and run and several other traffic offenses. Brown was charged with tampering with evidence, criminal trespass and obstruction and littering. Villa Rica police said Carroll County Sheriff's Office, Georgia State Patrol and Carrollton Police Department assisted in the arrest. Officials say this incident is still being investigated.
