Now, with the emotional drama seemingly weighing on him, the Grammy winner lost his footing mid-performance in Arizona — and it was all caught on video.

A section of the stage suddenly gives way beneath him, sending Post tumbling off as fans scream in shock.
The stunned fan who filmed the moment later posted the footage online with the caption, 'I didn't mean to almost break your back.'
Luckily, Post wasn't seriously hurt and powered through like a pro, going on to perform five more songs.
On Sunday, sources told TMZ that Post Malone — real name Austin Post — quietly split from his girlfriend Christy just under a month ago.
Whether the breakup was amicable remains a mystery.
The pair first sparked romance rumors back in January when they were spotted on a cozy dinner date in Rome.
In March they appeared in a TikTok video shared by a fan who spotted them at a bar.
The pair put on a loved-up display, with Christy's hand was wrapped around the singer's arm as they sat at upper level of the venue.
The White Iverson hitmaker is in a custody battle with his ex Jamie over their three-year-old daughter, who is referred to in legal documents as 'DDP.'
In May he petitioned a court to hold the proceedings in Utah, with legal documents submitted by his attorney Laura Wasser stating that he is raising the child there.
Park filed a similar request in Los Angeles County court, petitioning the court for primary custody, with the pop star getting nominal time.
However, Post told the court that she strategically filed in Los Angeles for perceived advantages in the court battle.
Wasser pointed out to the court that the exes' daughter has a number of essential ties to Utah.
Listed among them was her nanny, pediatrician, music classes, physical education, and swimming.
The Texas-bred musician announced the birth of his child in June 2022 without disclosing her name.
At the same time, he revealed he was engaged to the baby's mother but kept his fiancée's identity private, with fans taking to calling her 'Jamie.'
Throughout his short-lived romance with Christy, the performer and his then-girlfriend were spotted on multiple lavish outings in Europe and the states.
In Park's court filing, she asked that her ex cover her legal costs.
She also revealed that their daughter was born in May 2022.
Sources previously told TMZ that Post filed for custody in Utah because he and Park had previously been splitting custody down the middle in the state.
However, the insider added that it's also to his financial benefit, as Utah is less generous with child-support payments than California.

Jury reaches partial verdict in P Diddy trial
The jury at the trial of Sean 'Diddy' Combs has reached a verdict on four of the five counts against the music mogul but are struggling to reach a unanimous conclusion on a count of racketeering, according to a note passed to the judge on Tuesday night. Combs, 55, is accused of forcing two former girlfriends to have sex with male escorts in days-long performances that he referred to as 'freak-offs'. He is charged with sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution and a racketeering conspiracy, which relates to allegations that he used his business empire, and his retinue of assistants and security guards, to coerce his victims. He has pleaded not guilty. A note passed to Judge Arun Subramanian on Tuesday evening said: 'We have reached a verdict on counts 2, 3, 4 and 5. We are unable to reach a verdict on count 1 as we have jurors with unpersuadable opinions on both sides.' The four counts they have decided relate to sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, in relation to two of his former girlfriends: the singer Cassie Ventura, who dated him on and off for about eleven years until 2018, and a more recent girlfriend who testified anonymously as 'Jane'. The first count, where they are struggling to reach a verdict, refers to 'racketeering conspiracy'. The prosecution and Combs's defence attorneys both asked that jurors be told to carry on with deliberations. After consulting them, Judge Subramanian summoned the jurors into the court and told them to do so. A little later they were dismissed for the day, to continue their deliberations in the morning. The trial of Combs began in mid-May, and the prosecution case has lasted six weeks. Ventura, 38, his former girlfriend, testified over four days while heavily pregnant. She said she was in love with Combs. But she said she found the 'freak-offs' humiliating and degrading and he threatened to release video he had filmed of them if she did not participate in more. She also described a pattern of violent abuse. Former employees of Combs testified too: some under subpoena, and some said they had witnessed Combs being violent towards Ventura. A former assistant named Capricorn Clark said Combs came to her home with a gun in December 2012 after he discovered that Ventura was seeing a rapper named Scott Mescudi, and forced her to drive with him to Mescudi's home, shouting: 'We are going to kill this n*****.' The defence did not call witnesses, and presented its own case in the space of half an hour, placing before the jury text messages from Ventura to Combs, in which she told him that she loved him. Jurors in the trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs have reached a verdict on four of the five counts against him - but the hip-hop mogul will have to wait to learn his fate. In tense scenes towards the end of the court day on Tuesday, jurors sent a note to say they had reached verdicts on two charges of sex trafficking and two charges of transportation for prostitution, but had been unable to reach a unanimous decision on the charge of racketeering conspiracy. Combs 's lawyers surrounded him at the defence table after the note was sent to the court, and at one point he held his head in his hands. After discussions with prosecution and defence lawyers, Judge Arun Subramanian told jurors to continue deliberating on Wednesday rather than deliver a partial verdict. The jury has testimony from more than 30 witnesses to consider - including Combs's former long-term partner Casandra "Cassie" Ventura and another former girlfriend called "Jane", who testified under a pseudonym to protect her identity. Prosecutors allege the 55-year-old rapper used his fame and power to force Cassie and "Jane" into drug-fuelled sex sessions with male sex workers, which were referred to as "freak-offs", "wild king nights", or "hotel nights". He was also physically violent and blackmailed them with footage, jurors were told. They also heard from "Mia", a former employee who alleged she was sexually assaulted by the rapper on several occasions during her career. She also testified using a pseudonym. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges and his defence team has argued that prosecutors are attempting to criminalise what they say was a consensual "swingers lifestyle". The rapper chose not to testify and his lawyers did not call any witnesses, building their arguments instead through lengthy cross-examinations of the witnesses called by the prosecution. The charges against Diddy - and potential sentences Count 1: Racketeering conspiracy - up to life in prison Count 2: Sex-trafficking of Cassie Ventura - a minimum of 15 years and maximum of life in prison Count 3: Transporting individuals including but not limited to Cassie Ventura to engage in prostitution - a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison Count 4: Sex-trafficking of Jane* - a minimum of 15 years and maximum of life in prison Count 5: Transporting individuals including but not limited to Jane to engage in prostitution - a maximum of 10 years in prison What is racketeering conspiracy? Racketeering conspiracy, which is count one on the verdict sheet, is the most complicated of the charges against Combs. Jurors need to decide not only whether the rapper created a "racketeering enterprise", but also if he was involved in various offences as part of this, including kidnapping, arson and bribery. The charge falls under the US's RICO laws (the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations Act), which is best known for being used in relation to organised crime and drug cartel cases. After closing arguments last week, jurors began deliberation on Monday and had spent about 13 hours discussing in total by the time they sent their note. Before reaching the verdict on the four counts, they had requested to review crucial testimony from Cassie about her account of an assault in a hotel in Los Angeles in 2016. Captured on CCTV, the footage was played in court several times - showing Combs, wearing only a towel and socks, beating, kicking and dragging Cassie in a hallway. His defence team admitted in their opening statement that this was domestic violence, and said the music star regretted these actions - but that they did not amount to any of the federal charges against him. As well as Cassie's evidence on that assault, they asked to see her testimony on an incident at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 - when she said Combs accused her of taking drugs from him and kicked her off of his yacht. On their way back to the US, she told the court, he threatened to release explicit videos of her having sex with an escort. Jurors also wanted to review testimony given by a male sex worker at the start of the trial. Combs could face 15 years to life in prison if he is convicted of all charges.
