Toprak Razgatlioglu to ride for Pramac Racing in MotoGP next year
Razgatlioglu, the first Turkish Superbike world champion who is known for his showmanship and has 63 wins, won his first title with Yamaha in 2021 before making the switch to BMW, winning the title again in 2024.
Pramac made the switch from Ducati bikes to Yamaha this season. Razgatlioglu is second in the 2025 Superbike championship.
'Toprak, the most victorious Yamaha rider of all time in Superbike, has proven to be an exceptional talent, securing the WorldSBK Title twice, which is no mean feat,' said Paolo Pavesio, MD of Yamaha Racing.
'His transition to MotoGP is both a 'homecoming' and an exciting new challenge that's been set up with the clear goal of progressive growth over time.'
Razgatlioglu had previously tested the Yamaha bike in 2023. Pramac now have Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira as their riders this season, with Yamaha saying the 2026 line-up will be confirmed in due course.
Current WorldSBK leader Nicolo Bulega is also set to join Ducati's MotoGP test team next year ahead of a potential switch in 2027 when MotoGP's new regulations come into effect.

Binder's season has been a series of ups and downs, and he entered the summer break with more questions than solutions. Yet his performances since the restart hint that the latter half of the year could still produce some of his strongest showings. The weekend in Austria demonstrated noticeable improvement. His sprint race in particular caught the eye, with a fifth-place finish on Saturday marking his best result in a sprint this season. The summer break seems to have worked wonders for the South African, who returned refreshed and focused. Lexus Sport concept unveiled: LFA successor on the horizon?
Toyota Motor Corporation has unveiled the Lexus Sport Concept, a future-focused concept car. Could this be the LFA's successor? Revealed at the 2025 Edition of The Quail motorsport gathering during this year's Monterey Car Week, while a camouflaged prototype of this car was showcased at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the unveiling of the Lexus Sport Concept marks the first time this future-focused concept car has been seen undisguised by the public. Official powertrain specifications remain under wraps, but from the howling soundtrack it produced when running up the Goodwood Hill (watch the footage here…and remember to turn up the sound), it could just be what reports have suggested – a V8 equipped with forced induction in the form of turbocharging and incorporating electric assistance. Reports have also suggested the hybrid setup could be coupled with a transaxle transmission. As a reminder, the Lexus LFA employed a 4.8l naturally aspirated V10. Co-developed by Yamaha, the LFA's powertrain produced a peak power output of 412kW and 480N.m of torque, the former and latter available from 8 700 and 6 800 r/min, respectively. The Sport Concept's design seems to draw inspiration from the LC500 and the legendary LFA, with standout details of the front facia including sharp daytime-running lights and triangular bonnet vents. The Sport Concept's sculpted profile sits atop a set of large wheels and flows towards a rear end that's characterised by a striking lighting array and large rear diffuser. Brad Binder finds his mojo at Red Bull KTM's home race
South African star says it is the best feeling he has had on his RC16 in a long time. Brad Binder's steady progress towards regaining his best MotoGP form continued with a solid points haul at his Red Bull KTM's team home race in Austria at the weekend. After qualifying in 11th place, Binder followed up his fifth place on Saturday, his best sprint race finish in over a year, with a solid seventh place on Sunday. The 14 points he earned at the Red Bull Ring saw him move up on to 11th in the championship on 82 points. Brad Binder upbeat The KTM man showed some good pace throughout the weekend and secured automatic entry into Q2 for the first time in a while. He failed to put together one decent lap in Q2, but was very upbeat with his progress on the RC16 that has come in for a lost of criticism this year. 'It's the best feeling I've had in a really long time,' he told the KTM website after the sprint race. Despite not making one of his customary flying starts, Binder rode his way to fifth place. Disaster struck when another rider forced him off the track. Missing a wing after the incident, he fought back bravely. His seventh place meant KTM finished with three bikes in the top seven after Pedro Acosta and Enea Bastianini finished fourth and fifth respectively. The Ducati man moved up to 418 points to stretch his lead to 142 over his brother Alex. Darryn in the points Speaking of siblings, Brad Binder's brother Darryn Binder finished in the Moto2 points for the second time in third races by crossing the line in 15th place. Ruché Moodley, who made a comeback from injury for the second time in his debut Moto3 season, finished outside the points in 17th place. MotoGP moves to Hungary this weekend for the second part of the double header.
