The South Carolina native faces three counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Callaham gave herself up to cops on Thursday, the Anderson County Sheriff's Office said.
It came after a thorough investigation into the ex-teacher which started back in May.
Detectives found the alleged misconduct began in 2021 and continued for at least two years afterwards.
Within that time frame, Callaham is believed to have signed the student out of school, transported him to practices and even served as a supervisor for after-school activities, the sheriff's office said.
Cops described these patterns as "grooming behavior".
The boy involved was in his early teens when the alleged relationship started.
He came forward to police shortly after his 18th birthday after he spent years "processing the experience and trauma", authorities said.
They added: "These repeated interactions led to a prolonged pattern of abuse, which was corroborated by search warrants and ongoing cooperation with the victim's family."
The Greenville City Police Department has brought similar charges against Callaham which are separate from those in Anderson County.
Major update on teacher, 34, who had BABY with boy, 13, & was exposed when 'his dad realised he looked like her child'
This is due to the boy attending school in Greenville during the alleged inappropriate conduct.
The charges include eight counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor and four counts of unlawful conduct towards a child.
Court filings claim Callaham allegedly provided the teen with marijuana, nicotine and alcohol during the two years.
Callaham resigned from her job at Homeland Park Elementary School before the charges were officially filed.
She is also currently pregnant and has one child at home.
She appeared in bond court this week where a detective read a letter written by the teen's mother.
The angered mom claimed: "She saw our son's innocence and that he was very easily manipulated."
Callaham's defense attorney said his client has cooperated with law enforcement and they "look forward to a day in court".
The judge set her bond at $40,000 and ordered her not to have contact with Strickland's family.
It follows a teacher who is accused of raping her 15-year-old student 50 times moaning that she is being targeted because of her good looks.
Christina Formella, 30, claimed she is the victim of misogynistic "sexist scrutiny" and complained about being depicted as a "predator".

TV star lawyer who appeared to have it all with high-flying attorney husband exposes horrifying marriage secrets
A TV star lawyer who appeared to live a life of success and glamor says her high-profile attorney husband is a booze and drug addict who threatened to kill her. Jennifer Lancaster, 41, whose husband Clint, 45, famously represented the mother of Hunter Biden 's youngest lovechild, laid bare the wreckage of her marriage in a new lawsuit. The two had put on a united front for years leading their own law firm but under the surface she says her husband relied on pills and liquor for over a decade while harboring an unhealthy relationship with firearms. Jennifer, who also worked alongside her husband in the Biden case, claims he also suffers from 'unresolved anger issues, and unstable mental health' as well as his substance issues. According to an affidavit seeking maintenance and emergency custody of their two kids, his behavior had endangered their kids, saying that while under the influence he 'often displays an unhealthy fixation on firearms'. She added that for the last decade she has sought treatment for her husband through 'friends, colleagues and pastors', which she said she has done as recently as June 2025. It is claimed that his behavior escalated earlier this summer when he went on a 'days-long binge' in which she claims he attacked her in front of their children. Jennifer claims that he also threatened her multiple times during this alleged binge, claiming he said he would 'kick my ass' and 'kill me'. Jennifer claimed his behavior had endangered their kids, saying that while under the influence he 'often displays an unhealthy fixation on firearms', the family are seen here She adds that at one point she found her husband passed out and surrounded by several assault rifles. Jennifer also claimed that the two had separated in 2022 after he allegedly left a marijuana gummy on their daughter's desk. The affidavit adds that Clint was kicked off a plane in Chicago while traveling to Wisconsin for rehab after he was 'combative with airline staff'. In June he was then involuntarily admitted into an unknown psychiatric hospital in Wisconsin before being transferred to a rehab facility. It is alleged that Clint then left the facility after discovering his insurance would not cover his stay. Since leaving the facility he has opened new bank accounts, bought a new car, got multiple tattoos and spoke of taking their children to Florida, Jennifer added. She said that his plans to move the children to Florida involved 'individuals who pose safety risks to the children'. A judge has already temporarily granted Jennifer emergency custody of their children. In a seemingly unrelated filing, Clint petitioned for a name change on behalf of a 19-year-old woman. He said that the woman had 'recently determined that she is the biological daughter of [Lancaster]' and that she 'desires to take on the last name of her father'. His adult daughter was born in 2006, while Clint and Jennifer married in 2011 according to court records. A former Marine and cop, Clint had represented Hunter Biden's baby mama Lunden Roberts after Biden refused to acknowledge his youngest daughter's existence. As part of their child support agreement, Roberts agreed to receiving less money each month as long as Biden started working on having a relationship with their child. According to records, the Lancasters live in a 6-bedroom home in Bauxite, Arkansas, worth over $600,000. The couple have appeared on Fox News, CNN and CNBC, according to their work profiles. They had also shared images of themselves alongside President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago in April of last year.

DOJ to hand over Epstein files to Congress
Lawmakers in Congress expect to begin receiving Department of Justice files on Jeffrey Epstein's [sexual] trafficking case this week. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky, the leader of the House probe into Epstein, announced that the DOJ will send over Epstein files on Friday. The files are expected to include never-before-seen documents related to the late, well-connected New York financier's 2019 federal [sexual] trafficking investigation. 'There are many records in DOJ's custody, and it will take the Department time to produce all the records and ensure the identification of victims and any child sexual abuse material are redacted,' the Kentucky Republican said in a statement. Comer initially subpoenaed the DOJ for the Epstein files on August 5. At the time, the chairman gave the department until August 19 to hand over the documents. His announcement that the files would come by Friday appears to give the federal agency additional time to prepare the Epstein investigation documents. When the Daily Mail asked the DOJ if they would turn over the Epstein files by the deadline on Tuesday, a spokesperson responded, 'No comment.' It's unclear whether the files the DOJ plans to hand over are the same ones that would be released under a bipartisan bill that could force the department to release all its files on Epstein , except in a few exceptions. It also remains to be seen whether the files expected to be released on Friday will satisfy voters' demands to see the Epstein documents. Epstein, a wealthy money manager who authorities say [killed himself] while in federal custody in 2019 while awaiting his federal [sexual] trafficking trial, has been the subject of extreme interest since the DOJ announced in July that it did not have a 'client list' many believed the government had. The unsigned memo put out by the DOJ and FBI poured cold water on many voters' hopes to learn more about the infamous financier. This outrage became particularly acute due to Attorney General Pam Bondi saying earlier this year that the 'client list' was on her desk. Epstein's former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence for [sexual] trafficking, met personally with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche multiple times in early August. The Oversight Committee is also investigating Maxwell and had planned and then rescheduled a time to interview the Epstein accomplice. The committee said it would speak with Maxwell after her petition before the Supreme Court regarding her [sexual] trafficking case has been heard. Shortly after she met with Blanche, Maxwell was reassigned to a lower security prison. The Bureau of Prisons (BOP), which is under the DOJ, acknowledged that Maxwell was transferred but did not share a reason why. The House Oversight Committee has also sent subpoenas to many high-profile politicians to determine what they know of Epstein's crimes . Former President Bill Clinton, who has admitted to flying on Epstein's private jet - named the Lolita Express - as well as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, have also been subpoenaed by the committee. Both are being asked to sit for interviews in the Epstein probe in October. Former Attorney General Bill Barr, who served under Trump during his first term, was also subpoenaed and sat for an interview on Monday. 'Mr. Barr made clear that President Trump never provided any views or instructions related to the criminal case against Jeffrey Epstein or his death, and that he never saw any evidence suggesting President Trump committed a crime,' a committee spokesperson told the Daily Mail of the session. 'He further stated that he believed the Biden Department of Justice would have released any incriminating evidence against President Trump if such evidence existed,' the spokesperson continued. 'Mr. Barr stands by his original conclusion that Epstein died by [killing himself].'

Trump's Justice Department is investigating whether DC police officials falsified crime data
The Justice Department has opened an investigation into whether police officials in Washington, D.C., have falsified crime data, according to a person familiar with the probe who wasn't authorized to publicly discuss an open investigation. The investigation comes amid an escalating — and political — showdown between the Trump administration and the city over control of the police department. It wasn't immediately clear what federal laws could have been violated by the possible manipulation of crime data. The mayor's office declined to comment on the matter. The New York Times was first to report on the investigation. Earlier this year, a Metropolitan Police Department commander suspected of manipulating crime data was placed on paid administrative leave, NBC Washington reported. ___ Associated Press writer Matt Brown contributed to this report.
