US rapper Sean Kingston jailed for million-dollar fraud scheme
Turner was sentenced to five years in prison last month.
The singer apologised to judge David Leibowitz before he was sentenced in South Florida, saying he had learned from his actions.
His lawyer asked if he could self-surrender at a later date due to health issues, but the judge ordered Kingston to be taken into custody immediately.
The rapper, who was wearing a black suit and white shirt, removed his suit jacket and was handcuffed and led from the courtroom.
Kingston, 35, and his mother were arrested in May 2024 after a raid on his rented mansion in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Turner was taken into custody during the raid, while Kingston was arrested at Fort Irwin, an Army training base in California's Mojave Desert, where he was performing.
According to court records, Kingston used social media from April 2023 to March 2024 to arrange purchases of high-end merchandise.
After negotiating deals, Kingston would invite the sellers to one of his high-end Florida homes and promise to feature them and their products on social media.
Investigators said that when it came time to pay, Kingston or his mother would text the victims fake receipts for the luxury merchandise, which included a bulletproof Escalade vehicle, watches and a 19ft (5.9-metre) LED TV, investigators said.
When the funds never cleared, victims often contacted Kingston and Turner repeatedly, but were either never paid or received money only after filing lawsuits or contacting police.
Kingston, who was born in Florida and raised in Jamaica, shot to fame aged 17 with the hit Beautiful Girls, which laid his lyrics over Ben E King's 1961 song Stand By Me.
The song was at number one in the UK singles chart for four weeks in 2007.

Brit ex-soldier FREED from Bali prison with Presidential pardon after £30k Bitcoin raid
Disgraced British soldier turned Bitcoin robber Greg Simpson, 39, has been released from a prison in Bali after a 2022 offence and could return to the UK within days A British robber who took £300,000 of Bitcoin in a terrifying knifepoint raid walks free early from his hell-hole Bali prison. Disgraced former soldier Greg Simpson, 39, could be back in the UK within days after he was given a reprieve by Indonesian authorities. The veteran, an Army reservist who toured Afghanistan as a member of the London Regiment, was jailed for kidnap and robbery in 2022. He tied up Italians Principe Nerini, 40, and wife Camilla Guadagnuolo, and held them at knifepoint at their Seminyak villa in November 2021. It comes after a kickboxing champion takes dead body to police station as he hands himself in for murder. READ MORE: Police shame British drugs mules by making them pose for photos with suitcases Simpson was said to have been part of a four-strong gang that stole 5.8billion Indonesian Rupiahs in the raid, the equivalent of £300,000. Authorities swooped and arrested Simpson and his alleged right-hand man Nicola Disanto, 34, but two accomplices were never traced. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto freed Simpson as part of the country's independence celebrations. Exclusive pictures obtained by the Mirror show Simpson carrying his belongings as he was allowed to leave Bali's notorious 320-inmate Kerobokan prison yesterday. He looked fresh and healthy as he left Kerobokan – which is one of Indonesia's most feared institutions, because it is ruled by violent domestic gangs. He refused to speak to journalists as he was taken from the prison by immigration officials to a waiting car that drove him to spend the night in an immigration detention cell. A source said: 'Simpson's crime was abhorrent but the Indonesian authorities are desperate to cut the huge prison population and foreign nationals are easy to release.' Prison chief Hudi Ismono said that Simpson was among three Brits to receive remissions yesterday – where prison times are reduced for good behaviour. These are handed out every year the day after Indonesian Independence Day on August 17. 'During his time in prison, Simpson received remissions on Independence Day and Christmas,' Mr Ismono said. He has been well behaved and has not caused disturbances. He was released with only a bag containing his clothes.' A number of British prisoners, including drug mule Lindsay Sandiford, 69, who has spent 12 years on death row, had hoped to be freed. The cocaine trafficker, of Cheltenham, Glos, thinks she can dodge the firing squad thanks to a change in the law. Indonesia has recently freed other smugglers serving similar sentences as it relaxes its notoriously tough anti-drug laws. She has been held in Kerobokan since 2013 for bringing £1.6million of cocaine into the country. The Mirror understands just three UK nationals were released or given reductions in their sentences. Thomas Parker, a 32-year-old electrician from Workington, Cumbria, was given a one month and 25-day remission on his 10-month sentence for failing to report a drug crime. Parker had unwittingly accepted a delivery of a kilo of MDMA from a taxi driver in January. Drug convict Callum James Park, 35, of Hull, East Yorkshire, was handed eight months off his 2021 five-year sentence for possession 11.8 grams of methamphetamine and 5.5 grams of ecstasy.

Noel Gallagher makes brutal dig at Royal Family on stage at Croke Park
Oasis have been enjoying rave review on their 2025 live tour - but things turned sour on Sunday night when Noel Gallagher and his brother took to the stage in Dublin Noel Gallagher found himself on the receiving end of some savage boos when he took to the stage for Oasis's final night in Ireland on their current 2025 tour. The 58-year-old was performing the second of two nights at Croke Park in Ireland when he appeared to anger his audience. Before performing Half The World Away on Sunday night, Noel - who stunned fans last year when he reunited with brother Liam Gallagher to announce the current Oasis Live '25 Tour, asked: "Anyone from Manchester?" However, he hadn't anticipated the response, as the crowd started booing. Shocked by the response, he added: "Excuse me, excuse me? Booing for the people in Manchester? Oh no, no, no, no, that won't do! Be nice!" As he introduced Half The World Away, he said: "This is for the Royle Family – the real Royal Family," a swipe at the House of Windsor. Ahead of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee, he said he wasn't "anti-royal" but noted that the "appeal" of the monarchy had been "dwindling". "There are other things for people to be interested in," he commented, before branding the monarchy as "a bit farcical." The frosty response from the audience in Dublin could not keep down a successful weekend for Noel and Liam - who played two sold out gigs at the iconic Irish venue - which can house over 80,000 audience members at a time. They performed to a packed crowd on Saturday night - which included some family members in the audience. Liam revealed that his mother, Peggy, was watching from the stands on Saturday as he dedicated a track to her. Before performing Stand By Me, he told the audience: "This one I want to dedicate to my mum, my mum is here tonight." Proud mum Peggy has been supporting her sons since they decided to put aside their differences to perform for fans after a hiatus that began in 2009. In an interview in June, the Gallagher Mawas asked if she had anything to do with the reunion between Noel and Liam. She said: "I was the instigator, yes. But sure, wasn't it always going to happen at some time or other? It was their choice, of course. Look, you can't force them to do things they don't want to do."

Noel Gallagher's daughter Anais shares Oasis snap after enjoying concert with Peggy
Music fans flocked to Croke Park in Dublin to watch Oasis take to the stage - with lead singer Noel Gallagher's daughter, Anaïs Gallaghe, among the electric crowds Anaïs Gallagher had a marvellous time watching her father performing on stage at one of Oasis's hugely successful reunion tour gigs. The 25-year-old model and photographer is the daughter of 58-year-old Noel Gallagher and his ex-wife Meg Mathews, 59. And she looked very proud of her old pops as she joined tens of thousands of other music lovers at Croke Park, Dublin, over the weekend. Singing along in the crowd, Anaïs belted out the classic Oasis track, Live Forever, and shared footage of herself via Instagram Stories. She then uploaded a snap of her dad alongside her 52-year-old uncle Liam Gallagher, as they sang on stage to the delight of Oasis fans. Saturday night marked the first of two nights for the boys performing at the iconic Irish venue. It comes after her cousin Lennon skipped the Dublin shows and headed to Ibiza with his girlfriend. Noel looked focused as he performed on stage, and with Anaïs adding a heart hand emoji over her snap. Saturday's gig proved to be quite the family affair, as Liam and Noel's mother, Peggy, also travelled to Ireland to see the chart-topping band perform again. Liam even dedicated the performance of Stand By Me to his mum, telling the audience: "This one I want to dedicate to my mum, my mum is here tonight." The singer later dedicated Roll With It to the people of Charlestown, Co Mayo, where his mother hails from. Mid-song, he turned to the upper tiers where she was expected to have been sitting and blew kisses as he mouthed: 'I love you.' Peggy, 92, had previously discussed her plan to attend the Oasis Live'25 tour but avoided the all-standing Manchester shows that took place previously. Heading to Ireland, she could see her sons on stage from the comfort of a box when they played in Dublin. In an interview in June, Peggy was asked if she had anything to do with the reunion between Noel and Liam. She said: "I was the instigator, yes. But sure, wasn't it always going to happen at some time or other? It was their choice, of course. Look, you can't force them to do things they don't want to do." She confessed she was relieved to see her sons working together again, following a years-long rift between the two. "It's great, because nobody wants their kids falling out, do they?" she said, although she admitted to being nervous about the shows and would be "glad when it's all just over because it makes me get too stressed." Peggy has been spending time with both Noel and Liam in the run-up to the live tour, and was on holiday with Liam and his partner Debbie in the South of France earlier in the year when Liam was on vocal rest. Speaking in the Sunday Times in 2019, Liam said: "Any good that comes out of me is all from Peggy and all her sisters and brothers Oasis fans were stunned last year when brothers Liam and Noel confirmed they had buried the hatchet and would be touring for the first time since 2009. The brothers spectacularly fell out live on stage at the time and previously vowed never to perform together again. But the Oasis Live '25 Tour has been a smash hit - with critics and fans alike applauding the band for performing better than ever before. The Dublin gigs have been praised by fans, with Croke Park's doors opening again at 5pm on Sunday night for a second round of hits. First support act, Cast, were due to take to the stage at 6pm, followed by Richard Ashcroft at 7pm. Oasis, will walk out at 8.15pm on the dot, with the concert finishing at 10:15pm. Songs on the set list include Some Might Say, Supersonic, and Champagne Supernova.
