Lamborghini's First Personalized Temerario Glows in Grey and Blue
With the Temerario, Lamborghini completes its transition to a fully electrified product line alongside the Revuelto and the Urus SE.
The latest development comes in the form of the first Temerario Ad Personam – a fully customized one-off model created by Lamborghini's personalization division. Revealed in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, during a private gathering, the build draws inspiration from the Mediterranean backdrop and introduces a tailored visual expression of the new hybrid Lamborghini.
Dubbed the Temerario Porto Cervo, this one-off example is defined by a finish called Grigio Serget – a grey base that reveals embedded blue flakes under direct light. Gloss black elements in Nero Noctis outline the lower body, front splitter, rear diffuser, and side scoops. A slim pinstripe in Blu Royal provides a color break across the body, also found on the rear wing. Blue brake calipers hide behind Velador gloss black wheels, and matte black quad tailpipes add contrast at the rear.
Inside, the blue-grey theme continues. Grigio Octans leather and Corsa Tex upholstery form the base of the cabin, while Blu Nethuns stitching and leather inserts appear across seat panels and door trims. Embroidery includes Lamborghini logos and a Temerario script with Tricolore detail along the cabin's rear wall.
A profile of the car is stitched into the doors, while matte carbon trim and a red-detailed carbon steering wheel reinforce the supercar's driver-oriented purpose. Two plaques mark this unit's uniqueness: one reads Ad Personam on the driver-side B-pillar, the other tagged "Porto Cervo 2025" – to be replaced by the owner's custom plate before delivery.
The Temerario is powered by an all-new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors. The gasoline engine alone delivers 789 hp with a 10,000 rpm redline. With hybrid assistance, total output reaches 907 hp. Power is routed to all four wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic. Lamborghini claims 0–100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 213 mph.
The Temerario Porto Cervo is a one-off commission, though Lamborghini's Ad Personam program allows buyers to create similarly bespoke configurations. The standard model's MSRP hovers around $300,000. Production takes place alongside the Revuelto on Lamborghini's new hybrid-capable line in Sant'Agata Bolognese.

Italy fines Chinese retailer Shein $1M for 'deceptive' practices
Italy on Monday fined Shein more than $1 million for deceptive practices. File Photo by David Silpa/UPI | License Photo Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Italian authorities on Monday announced Chinese global retailer Shein was fined over $1 million for allegedly "misleading" customers with "deceptive" advertising. The The Italian Competition Authority issued the fine of more than $1.1 million, to Infinite Styles Services Co. Limited, which is Shein's Dublin-based European manager. Italian officials accused the company of "misleading and/or deceptive environmental messages and claims." Shein claimed a goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by some 25% by 2030, with a 2050 goal to reach net zero. The AGCM saidShein's proposal was "vague" and "generic." It further stated it was "even contradicted by an actual increase in Shein's greenhouse gas emissions in 2023 and 2024." The fashion online retailer sees an average of over 45 million monthly users just in Europe, according to EU officials. Last year in April, the Chinese-owned fashion app was forced to follow new but stricter rules under the European Commission's Digital Services Act after officials determined Shein was large enough to fall under the legislation. Italy is now the second European country in a little over a month to fine the company after France in July issued a $46 million penalty after its 11-month investigation. "Through its website and other promotional and/or informational online pages," Italy's AGCM said Monday, "the company disseminated environmental claims within the sections #SHEINTHEKNOW, evoluSHEIN, and Social Responsibility that were, in some instances, vague, generic." It added it was "and/or overly emphatic, and in others, misleading or omissive." The China-based company similar to Temu does not publicly disclose its earnings. However, a source told Bloomberg that in its first quarter that Shein's net income went up to over $400 million while revenue was at around $10 billion. It's said the higher profit margin was related to customers using to get ahead of new U.S. tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump.

Credit Agricole raises Banco BPM stake to 20.1% with derivatives
MILAN (Reuters) -French bank Credit Agricole has acquired a further 0.3% of Banco BPM via derivatives, raising its stake in Italy's third-biggest bank to 20.1%, a regulatory filing showed on Monday. The stake increase comes after Italy's UniCredit last month dropped its takeover bid for BPM after running into government opposition and failing to persuade Credit Agricole to tender its stake in BPM under the offer. Credit Agricole, a long-standing commercial partner of BPM, emerged as its single biggest shareholder in early 2022, after an earlier aborted takeover plan by UniCredit. Credit Agricole doubled its stake in December after UniCredit bid for BPM. UniCredit CEO Andrea Orcel, a veteran investment banker, said he could not afford to let his bank be sidelined in a round of consolidation sweeping Italian banking. Echoing comments made when it first said it would raise its BPM stake just above 20%, Credit Agricole said on Monday it would not seek to acquire control of BPM and would keep its stake under a mandatory takeover threshold. The threshold in BPM's case stands at 25% and sources with knowledge of the matter told Reuters last week that Credit Agricole planned to eventually get to just below 25%. Credit Agricole also said it would not seek changes to BPM's board of directors. After securing European Central Bank authorisation to cross the 10% ownership threshold in BPM, which allowed it to increase its initial stake, Credit Agricole is now awaiting ECB approval to go above 20%. It would then be able to convert the derivative contracts into shares. It has said it then intends to book the BPM stake under an accounting method reserved for significant shareholders, which allows investors to more closely benefit from the performance of the company they have invested in.
