When Kriti Sanon Felt ‘So Proud' On Revisiting Her Delhi School
Kriti Sanon will be celebrating her 35th birthday tomorrow, July 27. The actress, who was last seen in the Netflix film Do Patti, has been impressing fans with her versatile roles. Be it the feisty small-town girl Bitti in Bareilly Ki Barfi to the boldly independent Mimi, or a robot SIFRA in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, the actress has proven her mettle in playing diverse characters across genres. So, ahead of her birthday, let's rewind to 2022, when, during the promotions of Bhediya, Kriti took a trip down memory lane by revisiting her old school and reconnecting with her roots.
Kriti Sanon, born in 1990, finished her schooling at Delhi Public School, RK Puram, New Delhi. Later, she earned a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from a well-known institute in Noida.

In November 2022, Kriti Sanon dropped a picture on X, posing outside her school gate. She exuded chic vibes in a black and white striped tube top, mini skirt and an oversized shirt. She completed her look with minimal makeup and open, wavy hair. Kriti's joy at going back to her school was unmissable as she spread out her arms and flashed a beaming smile.

The side note read, 'Back to school! After 15years!! Such a proud feeling to be back at my school to promote my film Bhediya. Nostalgic! DPS, RK Puram, has given me a lot. It truly shaped the person I am today! And it was the best feeling to come back to say, 'I made it!'"
Kriti Sanon's Family Background
Last year, Kriti Sanon spoke about her humble family background. The actress, in an interview with Nikhil Kamath's WTF podcast, said, 'I would definitely say I'm privileged. I come from a middle-class family, but it's not like I ever felt the need to work because I had to earn. That was not there. My parents were working and… never made me feel that I didn't have money."
Kriti Sanon added, 'I've not been someone who has been extremely rich and wealthy… I've a joint account with my father. I've no idea how much money is coming in and going out."
Work-wise, Kriti Sanon will be sharing screen space with Dhanush in the film Tere Ishk Mein. The Anand L Rai directorial will premiere on November 28.

Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana Co-Star Talks About 'Sandalwood Scene' In Film: 'How One Imagines Lord Rama…'
Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana transformation left co-star Indira Krishnan stunned, as she opens up about his intense training and on-set discipline. Ranbir Kapoor in Ramayana: Going from a blood-soaked gangster in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal to the calm, divine figure of Lord Ram isn't something many actors could pull off. But Ranbir Kapoor has done just that – and it left his Ramayana co-star Indira Krishnan genuinely stunned. Reuniting with him on the set of Nitesh Tiwari's mythological epic, Indira says she saw a completely different side of the actor – not just in terms of physical changes, but also in how he carried himself. She saw him go through intense physical training, with a clear focus on building shoulder strength to match the strong, divine image of Lord Ram. She said, 'Ranbir has worked, not only on his physicality but even his eyes speak a different language. Like Lord Rama is supposed to have strong shoulders because he carries his bow and arrow, Ranbir has worked on his shoulders, his body. He would workout for 3-4 hours, and was always punctual on the set. After pack-up also, he would get back to working out. His dedication was 200 percent." She said the difference between the two roles really stood out during one scene. 'I remember the first day, we were shooting for the sandalwood ceremony and the way he sat down, he sat like how one imagines Lord Rama to sit. How he positioned his upper body, his face, his eyes, it's not easy. Because his upper body was without any clothes, since in that scene Lord Rama was wearing just his dhoti. The kind of comfort level he brought in… And I think that is the plus point of Ramayana. You can see that contrast from Animal. The rowdiness that he had in Animal and to present the divine… was a complete contrast for Ranbir. And I am the only one who has seen that contrast. Even the way he interacted with people on set, he was in character." Ramayana, which is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, is shaping up to be a massive two-part retelling of the classic Indian epic. The cast is star-studded. Ranbir Kapoor takes on Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi plays Sita, Yash is Ravana, Ravi Dubey becomes Lakshman, and Sunny Deol portrays Hanuman. Supporting cast includes Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Kunal Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil and Sheeba Chadha. The first part is expected to hit cinemas during Diwali 2026, with the second part set to follow the next year in Diwali 2027. The project promises a big-screen experience blending traditional storytelling with modern cinematic flair. Israeli Actor Alon Abutbul, 60, Dies After Suddenly Collapsing At Beach
Last Updated: Veteran Israeli actor Alon Abutbul, known for "Munich" and "The Dark Knight Rises," died at 60 after collapsing at a beach near Haifa. Veteran Israeli actor Alon Abutbul has died at the age of 60 after collapsing at a beach near Haifa. The tragedy occurred on Tuesday when he was swimming at an unguarded beach just south of the city. According to eyewitnesses, Abutbul exited the water and said he was feeling unwell before suddenly collapsing on the sand. Paramedics from Magen David Adom responded quickly and tried to revive him for over an hour, but he was declared dead at the scene. 'It happened in an instant," stated one witness at the beach, as per Ynet News. 'He went into the water and everything looked fine. A few minutes later, he came out saying he felt unwell. People rushed to help. He collapsed right there on the sand. Only when he got out of the water did people recognize him. It was a terrible tragedy. Everyone was in shock." Another witness mentioned he may have entered a dangerous area with strong currents. 'It's deceptive. We locals know to be cautious. He likely didn't—and the current caught him." Emergency responders made every effort to save him. 'Magen David Adom responded fast. They worked on him for a long time, but his condition was grave. You could see it on his friends' faces—he didn't make it. He entered the sea, and moments later, he was gone." Alon Abutbul was a prominent figure in Israeli cinema and television for over four decades. He also gained international recognition for roles in Steven Spielberg's Munich and Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. Born in Kiryat Ata in 1965 to a Mizrahi Jewish family from Egypt and Algeria, Abutbul studied acting at the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts.
