Groveling Justin Bieber puts on VERY racy display with wife Hailey Bieber after billion dollar Rhode sale

Daily Mail2 days ago

Justin Bieber celebrated his wife Hailey Bieber selling her Rhode Skin company to e.l.f. Beauty for $1 billion by sharing a racy snap of them together on Instagram.
Just weeks after landing in hot water over the bizarre way he congratulated her on landing the cover of Vogue, the pop star, 31, made sure to mark the milestone in a much sweeter way.
The Canadian singer-songwriter looked over the moon as he planted a sweet kiss on her cheek and squeezed her chest.
In the image, Hailey beamed with joy as she looked directly in the camera and laid back in her man's arms.
His post came amid the exciting news that Hailey sold her beauty brand, just three years after launching it.
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
e.l.f. Chairman and CEO Tarang Amin confirmed the news on Wednesday in a statement to Business Wire.
'E.l.f. Beauty found a like-minded disruptor in rhode,' Amin told the publication. 'Rhode further diversifies our portfolio with a fast-growing brand that makes the best of prestige accessible.'
'We are excited by Rhode's ability to break beauty barriers, fully aligning with e.l.f. Beauty's vision to create a different kind of company. Rhode is a beautiful brand that we believe is ready for rocketship growth.'
Hailey will still serve as founder of the brand and Chief Creative Officer and Head of Innovation, according to Business Wire.
Following the news, Hailey took to Instagram to break her silence on the monumental deal.
'When I launched @rhode in 2022, I always had big dreams for the company, and the most important thing to me is to keep bringing rhode to more spaces, places, and faces globally,' she wrote in the caption, which was accompanied by two pictures of her.
'So today I am so incredibly excited and proud to announce that we are partnering with e.l.f. Beauty as we step into this next chapter in the world of rhode.
'I found a like-minded disruptor with a vision to be a different kind of company that believes in big ideas and innovation in the same way that I do and will help us continue to grow the brand,' her message continued.
'I feel invigorated, excited and more ready than ever to step into an even bigger role as Chief Creative Officer, and Head of Innovation of rhode as well as strategic advisor to e.l.f. Beauty.'
In the post, Hailey also thanked her dedicated team at rhode and acknowledged that she 'couldn't have done it' without their help.
Of course, she also thanked consumers.
'As I've said, this is only the beginning,' Hailey signed off.
Justin was quick to reshare the post.
He noticeably did not add a caption of his own after sparking backlash with his comments about her recent Vogue cover.
E.l.f. cosmetics is currently sold at a variety of stores, like Ulta and Walmart .
They offer all different kinds of makeup products at relatively low price points, with mega stars like Jennifer Coolidge working as a spokesperson over the past year.
Over the past 12 months, rhode has generated $212 in net sales, according to Fortune.
News of the deal comes just one month after the star hired both J.P. Morgan and global investment bank Moelis to assist her in finding potential deal options at $1 billion in value, sources told WWD.
However, some sources doubted that a deal would go through, comparing it to other solo celeb-faced beauty brands like Makeup by Mario and Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty.
This Fall, Rhode will also be carried in beauty giant Sephora.
It will be coming to all locations in the US, Canada and the UK.
Bieber's success comes off the back of her Vogue cover this month - which was seemingly ruined by her husband, who revealed that he had once cruelly told his wife during an argument.
'Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight, I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue, Yikes I know, so mean, For some reason because I felt so disrespected I thought I gotta get even,' he explained.
Justin continued: 'think as we mature we realize that we're not helping anything by getting even, we're honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection.'
He concluded his post by writing a message directly to Hailey, which read: 'So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn't get a vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken.'
Many saw his caption as a backhanded compliment and something 'so unnecessary' to share with his more than 294 million Instagram followers.
While his caption was meant to be humorous, with Justin quipping he was 'clearly mistaken,' many of his followers failed to see the funny side, and the comments section was flooded with criticism.
Following the backlash, Justin appeared to delete the caption from his post, replacing it with a shrugging emoji.

Oreo maker Mondelez sues Aldi, alleging grocery chain copies its packaging to confuse customers

Snack food maker Mondelez International is suing the Aldi supermarket chain, alleging the packaging for Aldi's store-brand cookies and crackers 'blatantly copies' Mondelez products like Chips Ahoy, Wheat Thins and Oreos. In a federal lawsuit filed Tuesday in Illinois, Chicago-based Mondelez said Aldi's packaging was 'likely to deceive and confuse customers' and threatened to irreparably harm Mondelez and its brands. The company is seeking monetary damages and a court order that would stop Aldi from selling products that infringe on its trademarks. A message seeking comment was left Thursday with Aldi. In the lawsuit, Mondelez displayed side-by-side photos of multiple products. Aldi's Thin Wheat crackers, for example, come in a gold box very similar to Mondelez's Wheat Thins. Aldi's chocolate sandwich cookies and Oreos both have blue packaging. The supermarket's Golden Round crackers and Mondelez's Ritz crackers are packaged in red boxes. Aldi, a German discount chain with U.S. headquarters in Batavia, Illinois, keeps prices low by primarily selling products under its own labels. The chain has faced lawsuits over its packaging before. Last year, an Australian court found that Aldi infringed on the copyright of Baby Bellies snack puffs for young children. In that case, Aldi's packaging featured a cartoon owl and similar colors to the name-brand packaging. Earlier this year, a U.K. appeals court ruled in favor of Thatchers, a cider company, which sued Aldi over design similarities in the packaging of its lemon cider. Mondelez said in its lawsuit that the company had contacted Aldi on numerous occasions about 'confusingly similar packaging.' Mondelez said Aldi discontinued or changed the packaging on some items but continued to sell others. The lawsuit also alleges that Aldi infringed on Mondalez's trade dress rights for the packaging of Nutter Butter and Nilla Wafers cookies, and its Premium cracker brand.

Is this Carrie Bradshaw most ridiculous look ever? Sarah Jessica Parker trolled for insane hat on And Just Like That

Sarah Jessica Parker's fashionista character, Carrie Bradshaw, seemed to have missed the mark with one of her looks on the third season of And Just Like That. During Thursday's premiere episode, titled 'Outlook Good' — which also featured a lesbian sex scene with virgin nun played by Rosie O'Donnell — Carrie was seen strolling through the park wearing an outlandish hat. The massive bonnet-style accessory was made of a gingham-patterned fabric in shades of light orange and white. Fans were not impressed with Carrie's eye-catching look, with many trolling her as they compared the hat to one worn by the popular cartoon character Strawberry Shortcake. Some even quipped they wanted to 'call the fashion police.' 'Why is she cosplaying as Strawberry Shortcake?' one asked, while another shared a side-by-side asking, 'Who wore it better?' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'I can get behind the wildest of Carrie's fashion choices but this duvet cover of a hat is truly unhinged.' 'I love the show but someone needs to call the fashion police on Carrie's hat lol!' 'I know nothing about fashion, but what is this hat Carrie is wearing?' 'What's happening here...' someone else wondered. 'Are we all seeing this, is this a joke, what is happening?' 'I'm sorry, but what was that hat? I feel ill.' '2 things I could've done without on the 1st episode of Season 3... This hat and Rosie O'Donnell.' 'Carrie's Yosemite-Sam-Meets-Aladdin 'hat' is the epitome of everything wrong (and perfect) with #AJLT.' Elsewhere on the show fans were stunned by a shocking performance from newcomer Rosie, who played a sex-starved nun. The sequel to the fan beloved Sex and the City series follows friends Carrie Bradshaw (Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) and their tangled lives in New York City. The first episode of the new season features Rosie, 63, in her guest role as a virgin nun named Mary, who is Miranda's potential lesbian love interest. The two hit it off at the bar, and Mary proceeds to flirt with Miranda, telling her, 'You are so pretty' before brazenly letting her know that she has a 'hotel room.' The morning after their passionate night, Mary reveals a truth that leaves Miranda utterly stunned: she had taken Mary's virginity. Following the premiere, bewildered fans took to social media questioning the wild plot line, with one asking, 'Who came up with that!?' 'Omfg, miranda finally comes out as a lesbian and her first pickup is rosie o'donnell as a nun, christ, wut,' another one asked. 'Miranda hooking up with Rosie O'Donnell and it hasn't even been 10 minutes… what the hell sure.' 'Not a virgin!!' another fan chimed in. 'Giiiiiirl, Miranda and Rosie O'Donnell was not in my bingo card.' 'Really Rosie O'Donell!!!' 'I was -not- expecting to see Rosie O'Donnell pop up!' Another wrote: 'I'm only 7 minutes into Season 3 of 'And Just Like That' and we're already in a lesbian bar with Miranda going home with Rosie O' will they ever learn to read the room?' The scene starts out with Mary, who hails from a small town outside of Winnipeg, telling Miranda that she is in town for the world conference for 'Compassion of the Unhoused.' Mary then invites Miranda to her hotel. 'Okay,' Miranda responds, after a moment of hesitation. Later on Miranda and Mary wake up next to each other in bed. 'You are amazing,' Mary tells her. 'I have never experienced anything like that.' Miranda and Mary hit it off at the bar, and Mary proceeds to flirt with Miranda, telling her, 'You are so pretty' before brazenly letting her know that she has a 'hotel room' 'So then, this was your first time with a woman?' Miranda asks 'This is my first time with anyone,' Mary responds. She further shocks Miranda by admitting she is a 'nun' Miranda later tells Carrie that the nun is 'in love' with her, and continues to text her trying to meet up. Miranda says she feels 'mean' for not texting back, but eventually goes to meet Mary in Times Square Mary proceeds to tell her that their encounter felt 'electric, and yet, still so natural.' She then drops a shocking bombshell, telling Miranda: 'I never dreamed my first time could be both those things.' 'First time?' Miranda questions, to which Mary nods. 'So then, this was your first time with a woman?' 'This is my first time with anyone,' Mary responds, adding, 'I'm a virgin. I was a virgin.' She further shocks Miranda by admitting she is a 'nun.' The second season finale wrapped up with some significant shifts, especially for Carrie, who hosted a farewell dinner party in her iconic single-girl New York City apartment, gathering the cast to symbolically let go of something holding them back. Carrie herself let go of the 'expectations,' particularly concerning her rekindled romance with Aidan Shaw (John Corbett), who put their relationship on an unexpected five-year pause and explained he needed to focus on raising his son, Wyatt. The latest episode starts out with Carrie sending Aiden a postcard to Virginia, with just a heart scribbled on it. Afterwards, she meets with Miranda and Charlotte at a bar. She tells them that Aiden wanted no communication while he handles family issues back home, but that they've been sending each other post cards. Miranda asks Carrie if she's sending him postcards to 'remind him you're getting old in New York.' Later, in the middle of the night, Carrie gets a call from Aiden. He tells her he misses her and that he's sitting in the back of the house in his truck drinking beer They then proceed to have phone sex, but it's interrupted when he accidentally honks the horn with his knee Carrie explains she is simply trying to 'let him know I'm here, I love him.' Carrie then reminds her girlfriends that she has a busy life away from Aiden, explaining, 'I'm a big girl in a big city with a big house to furnish. I've got plenty to do up here while he figures stuff out down there.' Carrie and Charlotte then leave Miranda, as they think she is being hit on by another woman. However, when Miranda approaches her, she introduces herself as Miranda's son Brady's former babysitter, Cassandra Walsh. Miranda then awkwardly tells her about her divorce from her ex Steve Brady (David Eigenberg). Nicole Ari Parker and Sarita Choudhury returned as the group's new besties Lisa and Seema. Seema has an accident after lighting up a cigarette in bed, causing the mattress and her hair to light on fire, with a fireman later chastising her for smoking in bed. Carrie and Seema are then seen strolling through a park, with Carrie rocking a giant eye-catching hat on her head. Later on Carrie returns home and proceeds to slip and fall while running to turn off her house alarm. Miranda comes over to help her, and reveals her sexual encounter with Mary. Later, in the middle of the night, Carrie gets a call from Aiden. He tells her he misses her and that he's sitting in the back of the house in his truck drinking beer. Seema has an accident after lighting up a cigarette in bed, causing the mattress and her hair to light on fire, with a fireman later chastising her for smoking in bed They then proceed to have phone sex, but it's interrupted when he accidentally honks the horn with his knee. Aiden then proceeds to go on but Carrie can't, after noticing her cat watching her. However she continues to fake it, before later telling her girlfriends that she feels 'dishonest' about it. Meanwhile Seema breaks up with boyfriend Ravi Gordy, after feeling ignored by him. The scene then switched to Miranda, who tells Carrie that the nun is 'in love' with her, and continues to text her trying to meet up. Miranda says she feels 'mean' for not texting back, but eventually goes to meet Mary in Times Square. Mary then invites Miranda to 'spend the night.' Miranda tries to get out it, as Mary proceeds to sing a verse from Wicked to her. Carrie calls Aiden later in the night, and tells her she faked their phone sex the night prior. She then attempts to start it up again, but he tells her his son is sleeping next to him. Embarrassed, she awkwardly apologizes and hangs up. Unable to go to sleep after he house alarm goes off again, Carrie gets up and opens her laptop, beginning to write. 'The woman wondered what she had gotten herself into,' Carrie wrote, before the episode came to an end. The show picks up 11 years after the events of the 2010 film Sex and the City 2, and follows three of the four original main characters. Following the success of Kim Cattrall 's cameo in the second season, it's been widely reported Samantha will return for at least part of the third season. Sara Ramirez will not be returning as controversial non-binary comedian Che Diaz (there's some disagreement as to whether this was because of their political posts, because of the end of the character's relationship with Miranda, or because viewers just found them so annoying). Karen Pittman also won't return as Columbia law professor Nya Wallace because of scheduling conflicts. Meanwhile The OC's Logan Marshall-Green and the one and only Patti LuPone will all make appearances in the new series. Since starting in December 2021, the Sex And The City spin-off has seen Carrie, Samantha and Charlotte grapple with sexuality, gender identity, death, grief, divorce, drug use, and pretty much every other hot issue in Western society. The original Sex and the City ran for six seasons, airing on HBO from 1998 until 2004. The story continued with two feature films: Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). The first season of And Just Like That... premiered in 2021. There will be 12 episodes in And Just Like That… season 3, with the last premiering on August 14. The season 3 premiere comes after Parker revealed Mr. Big's death on the show was 'really hard' for her to film. The actress addressed the shocking moment in the show where Carrie's husband Mr. Big (Chris Noth) died of a heart attack after working out on his Pelaton bike. Mr. Big had been a staple character of Sex And The City and Carrie's main love interest so it was a risk for writers to kill him off. Speaking on The E! News Sitdown with Bruce Bozzi, Sarah gave her thoughts on the storyline. She said: 'Big dying was really, really hard to do both professionally and personally. That's not just a thread. It's one of the main arteries that you would struggle to do without.' 'It was really sad to say goodbye to that. It's not like I needed it for my own health or wellbeing. But that was a hugely wonderful story to tell for a lot of years.' Since Big's death, Carrie has rekindled her romance with old flame Aidan, who she was involved with in seasons three and four of Sex And The City.
