Armed Forces Spokesman: Yemeni Air Defenses Effectively Confronted Israeli Aggression
The official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed that the Yemeni air defenses effectively confronted the Israeli aggression and forced a large portion of its formations to withdraw.
In a statement issued today, Brigadier General Saree indicated that the air defenses confronted the Israeli aggression with a large barrage of locally manufactured surface-to-air missiles, causing great confusion among the enemy pilots and their operations rooms.
He said, "Our air defenses are ready and prepared to confront the Israeli attacks on our country with all strength and power, God willing."
He added, "We assure our people and the free people of our nation that our armed forces are at high readiness and capable, with God's help, of confronting the aggressors. These attacks will not affect them or their military capabilities, and that support operations for Gaza and Palestine will continue at a rapid pace. We will defend our country and our nation with all our strength, God willing."

Yemeni Center for Human Rights condemns Israeli aggression on Civilian Infrastructure in Hodeidah
Sana'a – Saba: The Yemeni Center for Human Rights strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression targeting Yemen's civilian and service infrastructure, including the ports of Hodeidah, Ras Issa, and Al-Salif, as well as the central power station in Ras Kathib. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the center described the targeting of these vital humanitarian ports—critical for transporting food and medicine to millions of Yemenis—as a deliberate war crime aimed at starving the population and destroying essential civilian life systems, in blatant violation of international humanitarian law. The statement emphasized that these acts violate multiple international agreements, including the 1949 Geneva Conventions and Protocol I of 1977, which prohibit attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure. It also referenced the Rome Statute, which criminalizes the widespread destruction of civilian property and the use of starvation as a method of warfare. The center cited UN Security Council Resolution 3314 (1974), Article 3(c), which defines the targeting of civilian infrastructure as an act of aggression, and Article 11 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, which guarantees civilians' right to food and water. The statement warned that attacking humanitarian ports disables 70% of aid entry into Yemen, severely worsening what the UN has described as the world's worst humanitarian crisis, driven by years of blockade that have already resulted in tens of thousands of deaths due to famine, lack of medicine, collapse of the healthcare system, and catastrophic malnutrition among women and children. The center affirmed that these acts are part of a systematic campaign of genocide, stressing Yemenis' legitimate right to self-defense in protecting their lives and dignity. It also asserted that justice for victims is a non-negotiable and timeless right. The statement further warned that global silence amounts to complicity, particularly by the UN Security Council, which has yet to issue any condemnation despite the rising civilian death toll. The Yemeni Center for Human Rights called on Arab and Islamic governments to sever ties with Israel, prosecute its leaders at the International Criminal Court, launch campaigns to halt arms exports to Israel, and boycott companies supporting the occupation. Hamas Security Official: Israeli spy devices discovered at multiple sites in Gaza Strip
Gaza – SABA: A security official in the Hamas movement said Monday that resistance forces had uncovered Israeli surveillance and espionage devices planted at various locations across the Gaza Strip with the help of collaborators. The official, speaking to the press, explained that multi-purpose quadcopter drones were used by the Israeli military to plant listening and recording devices for espionage and military purposes. According to Palestine's SAFA News Agency, one of the seized devices was found hidden among rubble in a critical area, capable of recording and transmitting video footage. The device was engineered to conserve battery power by using image sensors rather than continuous video recording. One of the devices reportedly captured the moment a young girl was killed while attempting to move from southern to northern Gaza. The device used motion-activated sensors to capture images and footage day and night, transmitting the data to Israeli intelligence. Another tracking device, operating with a SIM card, was discovered near a site where Israeli captives were handed over during the second prisoner exchange deal. The official added that a booby-trapped listening device, disguised as a deteriorated plastic container, was found near a refugee shelter in Gaza City. Resistance engineers were able to disable and dismantle the device, analyze its mechanism, and identify its intended purpose. In another instance, a surveillance device camouflaged inside a concrete block was discovered in southern Gaza, planted by a collaborator, and later repurposed by the resistance for military and intelligence use. The official also confirmed that another spy device was hidden inside concrete near a hospital courtyard in southern Gaza to eavesdrop on civilians. He praised the high alertness of Gaza's civilians, urging continued vigilance in identifying espionage threats. Since October 7, 2023, backed by U.S. and European support, the Israeli military has carried out a genocidal war on Gaza, killing 57,523 Palestinian civilians—mostly women and children—and injuring 136,617 others, according to preliminary figures. Thousands more remain buried under rubble or stranded in inaccessible areas, as rescue and ambulance teams are often unable to reach them. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

French Lawyers File Urgent Legal Motion to Block Military Shipment Headed to Israel
Paris – SABA: A group of French lawyers and legal professionals have filed an urgent motion with the Administrative Court of Montreuil to block the transfer of a military shipment passing through Charles de Gaulle Airport en route to Elbit Systems, an Israeli defense company. The shipment reportedly originates from the Swedish firm Saab Bofors Dynamics AB (Sopbor Stal Svenska AB). According to a statement released Monday by the organization 'Jurists for Respect of International Law' on its official X (formerly Twitter) account—cited by Quds Press—Elbit Systems, which operates in direct coordination with the Israeli military, plays a central role in the ongoing war effort, particularly the assault on Gaza. The organization warned that permitting the unchecked transfer of armored military vehicles to Elbit Systems could amount to facilitating the commission of international crimes, already condemned by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC)—all from French soil. The ICC had issued arrest warrants on November 21, 2024, for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing reasonable grounds to believe they committed war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. The legal action is grounded in international humanitarian law, particularly the Geneva Conventions, which prohibit the transfer of weapons or military equipment to parties likely to use them in the commission of war crimes. This French legal initiative is further supported by the ICJ ruling in January 2024, which found a 'plausible risk of genocide' in Gaza and obligated signatory states to take steps to prevent participation or complicity in such violations. Since October 7, 2023, and with U.S. and European support, the Israeli military has waged a campaign of genocide in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 57,523 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are children and women, and injuries to 136,617 others, according to preliminary data. Thousands remain buried under rubble or stranded in inaccessible areas, as rescue teams face severe obstacles in reaching them. Facebook Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)
