EastEnders fans say the same thing as new detail about Zoe's return uncovered

Daily Mirror5 hours ago

EastEnders fans learnt more about Zoe Slater's return storyline during tonight's episode - but one detail from Stacey's side of the story left them scratching their heads
During tonight's EastEnders, fans got to see more of Zoe Slater and learn about her reasons for returning after last night's bombshell cliff hanger.
Following the reveal last night, during tonight's episode, fans learnt that Stacey had rented a flat after initially leaving Walford with her kids to stay with Lynne for a while. Last month, following her daughter Lily going to stay with her biological dad Ryan, Stacey took Arthur and Hope to stay with Lynne.

During the latest episode, Stacey was heard telling Alfie that Stacey had rented the flat in London to get some space from Lynne, and had allowed a struggling Zoe to stay for free. Alfie later found out that Zoe owed dangerous loan sharks in Spain some money - although it was later revealed she had been sending the texts to herself in a bid to get money.

Despite all the drama going on, fans were focused on how Stacey could afford to rent a flat by herself in London. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one questioned: "So, Stacey isn't working, she pulled the kids from school, gone off to wherever it is she's at now, and rented a furnished flat — on what money? Shouldn't she be in worse financial straits since Martin died and she's not slinging baps?"
The conversation continued over on Reddit, as another fan penned: "Still not sure how we're expected to think she can afford it when Martin's dead so there's no income, Lily's with Ryan so no child support, and she hasn't worked since Martin died either."
A third questioned: "Why is Stacey renting a flat? Surely she would have had to sign a lease/contract. How long is she planning to stay away? How can she afford rent for a flat when she's not working?"
Elsewhere in the episode, fans were left on a huge cliffhanger after Kat tracked down Alfie's whereabouts with the help of Tommy's tracking app. Realising her husband had lied about being in the pub, a furious Kat turned up to the address he was at.

She then began shouting through the letter box telling Alfie to answer the door, but with Zoe adamant she doesn't want to see her mother - how will things unfold?
Although the soap aren't giving much away about Zoe's upcoming storyline, actress Michelle Ryan opened up a little on what fans can expect.
"I can't say too much as there is a lot of drama to come, but Zoe is a mess," she said. She's not the girl that left Walford twenty years ago, and she's been really struggling on her own.
"She has her defences up, but this week you will see that she needs help, but whether she is willing to accept it is another story."
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Love Island fans fuming as show 'scraps' iconic segment after huge cliffhanger

Love Island fans were left on a huge cliff hanger following new bombshell Harrison's arrival during tonight's show - but left fuming after a key segment was 'missing' from the show After an eventful night in the Love Island villa following a tense recoupling, the Islanders were left in even more shock with the arrival of new bombshell Harrison Solomon. He had a dramatic entrance to the show, as he was told he had the power to dump one of the single girls. Harrison's arrival came after a shock recoupling, in which the power was in the boys hands. Following the eventful night, both Malisha and Toni were left single - and they were both sent on dates with the bombshell. However, they were told Harrison would decide who to bring back after the date - with the other dumped. ‌ As always, fans were left on a dramatic cliff hanger, as it's not clear whether Malisha or Toni will be sent home. Fans will have to tune in tomorrow to see their fate - but they were left fuming that they weren't even graced with a teaser for "tomorrow night" at the end of the show. ‌ Love Island fans are regularly treated to a dramatic teaser of what's to come the following night at the end of the show, with voiceover Ian Sterling exclaiming: "Tomorrow Night!" However, fans can't help but notice the lack of snippets they've been given this series, and they're less than impressed. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "The lack of Tomorrow night promo is pmo, I need to know what's going to happen so I can mentally prepare myself #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK," as another said: "where did the tomorrow night promos go? #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK" A third enraged fan penned: "7 days and no tomorrow night? Is the editor not getting paid enough? #Loveisland," while a fourth joked: "Why are they suddenly allergic to the 'Tomorrow Night' promos?! #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK." Due to the lack of promo, fans have had to predict their own outcome of the show - as they predict Harrison will bring back Toni due to them both residing in the US. Toni currently lives in Vegas, whereas Harrison is living in Miami, despite being from Derby. ‌ Prior to his entrance into the villa, the US college soccer player and student made it very clear he wasn't afraid to step on toes. When asked about how he felt about splitting up a couple, Harrison said: "That's what I have to do. I'm not here to make friends. If the girl is for me, I'm going to grab that. "That's no issue. I'm in there for myself at the end of the day." He's clear on what he's here for too, explaining that his type is " someone who is fiery and got a bit of an attitude." "I don't want someone boring in the corner. I want someone who has got a bit of substance and voices their opinion. Confidence, being family oriented is a big one for me and someone who is ambitious, too," he revealed. Like Toni, Harrison is currently residing in the US, but he's ready to make long distance work. "I've done long distance before so it's not really an issue for me. I don't know if or when I'm going back to America. But that's not an issue. If you like a person you'll make it work," he said. How will Harrison's arrival change the dynamics of the villa?

ITV Love Island fans all have same complaint as Conor makes X-rated confession

Another couple made their way to the Love Island hideaway during Tuesday night's episode - but fans were left feeling 'sick' after hearing Conor's admission The temperature in the Love Island villa soared as yet another couple escaped to the hideaway in last night's episode. Islanders this season have the freedom to seek privacy in the hideaway whenever they wish. However there's a twist – they are forbidden from entering with their current partner. In a spicy turn of events, Conor and bombshell Emily retreated to the secret room in a move that nearly pushed fans to switch off their telly, reports the Mirror. ‌ Initially paired with Toni, Conor now seems utterly smitten with Emily and following a passionate embrace on the terrace, they chose to spend the night away from prying eyes in the hideaway. However, viewers unanimously voiced their distaste at one particular aspect of their rendezvous. ‌ Continuing their intimate encounter in the hideaway, the couple's noisy kisses did not sit well with Love Island viewers, who flocked to Twitter to voice their disapproval. Back with the group, Emily and Conor disclosed their kiss, but Conor crossed the line when he overshared about having an erection "for three hours". Fans expressed their discomfort, with comments such as "Conor bruh we didn't need to know that #LoveIsland," accompanied by a sick emoji, and "conor some things should be kept to ourself! ! #loveisland." The Love Island villa has been hit with drama as new bombshells continue to shake things up. Malisha and Meg immediately locked horns over Dejon, who reciprocated Malisha's interest. ‌ The pair had several spats but seemed to reconcile in tonight's episode with a pinky promise to halt further feuds. This development followed the revelation that Dejon, along with Harry and Shea, had strategised during the previous night's challenge to ensure he could kiss Malisha. Harry also found himself in a tight spot for engineering a kiss with his former flame Shakira, despite now being paired with Helena. The 30-year-old admitted to having "unfinished business" with Shakira. ‌ Shea faced criticism for his part in the "gameplaying", as he encouraged Harry and Dejon to ensure he kissed Megan, who is contentedly coupled with Tommy. Tommy confronted Shea about the tactic, and it seemed they had moved past it. Yet, as they were about to go their separate ways, tensions flared again, culminating in a heated exchange where Tommy branded Shea a "lanky lamppost".
