The biggest fashion event in South Africa's calendar is underway.
The South African Fashion Week shows from 24 to 26 April at Hyde Park in Johannesburg are showcasing some of Mzansi's top designers and their upcoming collections, including Thabo Makhetha, Rubicon Clothing and Gert Johan Coetzee.

Cape Town International Jazz Festival
It's Cape Town jazz week! Enjoy smooth sounds from not only South Africa's top jazz and soul musical artists like Thandiswa Mazwai, Lira and more, but also from international acts like Ari Lennox and Masego.
The festival runs from 25 to 26 April at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. For a pre-gaming experience, the Time Out Market will be hosting wine and whisky tastings for guests to buy tickets for and indulge in ahead of the evening concerts.

The Dominican influencer's death was confirmed by the Westchester County Police Department in New York, who said the model — real name Ariela Mejia-Polanco — was found dead in her car on the Cross County Parkway Aug. 17. Following a preliminary investigation, police determined that Ariela died of gunshot wounds and was 'likely targeted for violence,' according to a statement shared on Facebook. 6 Social media star Ariela La Langosta has died at age 33. @ 'The woman found deceased in her car on the Cross County Parkway on Sunday died as a result of gunshot wounds, the Westchester County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed today,' police said in a statement.
