Our top picks of Amazon's early Prime Day deals to get shoppers ready for summer
For those looking to save some money on their summer essentials this year, Amazon is set to hold its highly anticipated Prime Day event next week. With a variety of products across the website getting discounts, bargains hunters will have a field day grabbing all their must-have deals.
What's even better is that the retail giant has decided to make their popular sale a four-day event. From July 8 to July 11, shoppers will be able to get their hands on new pieces of tech, fashion, beauty, garden furniture, homeware essentials and so much more for decent prices in this mega sale.
However, this extended sale comes with a catch. While shoppers have more days to shop, this doesn't mean that all of the items will remain on sale for the full event. Some shoppers may see prices change over the four days or some deals may end early, reports the Mirror.
In addition, shoppers will need to be an Amazon Prime Member to take part in the sale. Members need to spend £8.99 a month for the subscription, but this comes with a variety of perks. Prime members can get next day delivery on thousands of selected items, along with access to Prime Video and Prime Music.
For those who are unsure if they want to start up a membership, Amazon is offering a 30-day free trial that shoppers can cancel at any time.
Amazon isn't the only place that shoppers can get great deals this summer. For those looking for offers on beauty, Lookfantastic and Boots have plenty of deals available, while Boden is also hosting a huge sale across their clothing range.
Additionally, for those who enjoy gardening, Yimbly - which is a marketplace owned by the Daily Record's parent company - currently has plenty of garden furniture down to bargain prices.
While there is less than a week until Amazon's Prime Day event, the retailer has already decided to treat shoppers by putting some of their summer essentials on an early Prime Day deal. We have collated our top picks from the sale to help shoppers grab some early bargains.

Over recent years, air fryers in particular have been rising in popularity. Now, shoppers can grab the Ninja CRISPi Portable Air Fryer for £104.80 down from £179.99 on Amazon - saving them 42%. The appliance comes with CleanCrisp glassware that is designed for safe cooking and storage which makes shoppers lives easier. It combines several cooking functions in one compact unit, helping to also reduce clutter in the kitchen. Dr Martens 'no break in' sandals you can 'walk all day in' slashed by 30% in summer sale Haircare brand ghd launch four new tools that make curls 'last all day' The glassware is dishwasher safe, making cleaning simple and convenient, too. With a small footprint, the air fryer can fit easily on counters or can be stored away and its lightweight design makes it easy to move around if shoppers want to bring it into the office or even trips away. Included are a 1700W Power Pod with UK plug, two CleanCrisp glass containers, two non-stick crisper plates, a PowerPod adaptor, two storage lids and a two-year guarantee upon registration. If this isn't the one for everyone, shoppers could instead try the Tower Vortx 6L Digital Air Fryer for £59.99 from Lakeland which is said to be ideal for family sized portions, has 8 pre-set programmes and easy digital controls. Another is the Manual 4 Litre Air Fryer for £30 from Dunelm which has a non-stick drawer, ranges from 60 to 220 degrees and has non-slip feet. The Ninja air fryer has a 4.4 out of five star rating on Amazon. One person said: "A great air-fryer. Easy to use, easy to clean and store. The food gets crispy and tasty and it's fun to see it getting ready through the glass. Very recommended for small families." Another said: "Cooks well, very quiet. Space saver, with opportunity to cook a variety of dishes. Easy to clean as is glass mainly, quicker than an oven and serves multiple purposes. Worth the price." A third reviewer wrote: "Brilliant little air fryer, takes up very little space on the worktop, two different sized glass bowls, cooks well and easy to clean. Excellent buy." Not everyone agreed, however, as one person said: "It's small, convenient and seems to cook well so far. The only issue encountered is that the feet on the crisper plates disintegrate after only a few uses. I'm on my second set of crisper plates and the large one has just failed. These really need a redesign." Over at My London, our colleague tried the Ninja CRISPi Portable Air Fryer for herself. Eve Rowlands wrote: "Not only was it more powerful than my old model but it looked sleeker than my old one... Now alongside the aesthetic of this airfryer, which immediately caught my attention - it wasn't clunky nor did it take up too much room on my counter top and I can watch my food cook in real time - the device is handily portable." She continued: "Cooking takes surprisingly less time than my previous airfryer too, which is a win for me. Although I'm still experimenting with recipes it can hold more than our old device and has injected a bit more enjoyment into cooking (mainly because it doesn't take me ages)." The Ninja CRISPi Portable Air Fryer is available from Amazon.

Amazon slashes £350 'very quiet' tower fan that's perfect for the heatwave to under £90
The tower fan has been bought more than 1,000 times in the past month, and now, Amazon has slashed 74% off the price, meaning shoppers can save a huge £260 As the UK basks in a heatwave, with temperatures soaring to 30C in parts of Scotland, fans have become a must-have for many households. Handheld fans are ideal for those commuting or travelling, but for those working from home, a tower fan is the perfect solution. Capable of cooling an entire room and safe to leave on overnight, many people are rushing to purchase a new fan to beat the heat. For bargain hunters, Amazon has cut the price of one of their top-selling fans by hundreds of pounds. The Pureborne 36" Smart Tower Fan, usually priced at £349.95, is now available for just £89.99. The tower fan boasts a sleek and slim design, with a base diameter of 32cm and a height of 91cm, making it the perfect size to fit into smaller spaces without causing disruption. It also offers a 90-degree oscillation, ensuring full room coverage. Buyers can select from four speeds and four different modes - normal, natural, sleep and auto. All of these features can be controlled via a remote, an app (compatible with iOS and Android), or through voice control using Alexa or Google Assistant for added convenience. The Pureborne 36" Smart Tower Fan is a dream for those who like to keep cool at night, thanks to its sleep mode. It gradually reduces the wind speed every 30 minutes by two levels, ensuring your slumber isn't disturbed. This means you won't have to drag yourself out of bed in the wee hours to switch off the fan if you're feeling chilly. Another top-rated tower fan on Amazon is the Dimplex Mont Blanc Cooling Fan. Priced at £84, this fan boasts three speed settings and a 78-degree oscillation. Plus, it comes with a handy remote control to adjust the settings to your liking. If you're after something a bit more compact, Argos has the Challenge Mini Tower Fan on offer for just £26. Standing at 14 inches tall, this fan is a breeze to move around your home. It offers a refreshing airflow and three speed options to choose from. Returning to the Pureborne Tower Fan, it's been snapped up over 1,000 times in the past month as shoppers seek relief from the summer heat. Users have given it a stellar 4.6-star rating, with one reviewer hailing it a 'life saver' during the heatwave, reports the Daily Record. One satisfied customer shared: "Extremely pleased with the fan, very quiet plus the bonus of having a sleep timer and an added remote so if used in the bedroom can be turned off without leaving the bed at night, ideal for what we want as it fits in the corner of the bedroom out of the way." Whilst another five-star reviewer penned: "My fan arrived yesterday and was a life saver with the impending heat wave this week. It was easy to put together, looks stylish, is very quiet and cooled the room effectively. It was worth every penny!" Nevertheless, some shoppers did have some complaints about the device. One person said: "Not sure if the one I received was defective or if I'm just overestimating it but regardless. Pretty loud, fairly weak and randomly stops blowing air as it turns...?" Meanwhile another customer gave a mixed review: "The good thing about this fan is it can be controlled by mobile phone or Alexa. But the thing that I don't like is the background noise when it is running." On the other hand, a top reviewer wrote: "The Pureborne 42" Smart Tower Fan is excellent. Stylish, slim design fits perfectly in my bedroom, and it's very quiet - I barely notice it on the lowest setting. Powerful airflow with smooth oscillation cools the whole room quickly. "The remote and app make it effortless to control from bed, and the 4 modes plus 12-hour timer are genuinely useful. Sleep Mode is brilliant - cools me down, then eases off so I don't wake up cold. " Ideal for the warm weather, shoppers can now save hundreds on the Pureborne 36" Smart Tower Fan.
