Film tourism to be one of mainstays of Telangana Rising-2047: CM
The Chief Minister inaugurated the 'Shrimad Bhagavatam Part-1' film project at Ramoji Film City on Monday. It is a pride for Telangana for having such a unique Ramoji Film City, the CM said, congratulating the creative film team for coming up with the idea of making 'Shrimad Bhagavatam' film.
Revanth Reddy reiterated that his government is envisaging a plan for the robust growth of Telangana by achieving $1 trillion economy by 2035 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047 under the vision document.
The Chief Minister recollected the popularity of the famous mythological Ramayana TV programme which brought a revolution in the TV entertainment industry 40 years ago. During the Covid pandemic also, the popular TV serial created a world record in viewership.
The CM hoped that the 'Srimad Bhagavatam Part-1' movie would become as popular as the Ramayana serial produced by Ramanand Sagar.

The sequel looks forward to bringing back the iconic legacy of the original film that came out in 1997. Besides Sunny, the film also features actors like Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in key roles. The actor also has Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' in the pipeline. The first glimpse of the film was recently unveiled, officially introducing Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. Malini Awasthi casts a spell with soul-stirring folk songs
Lucknow: Governor Anandiben Patel attended a cultural evening featuring renowned folk singer Padma Shri Malini Awasthi at UP Sangeet Natak Akademi on Sunday. The programme, titled 'Sawan', saw Awasthi giving a soul-stirring performance of traditional folk songs centered around the monsoon season. The performance received widespread appreciation from the audience. Patel expressed her admiration for women artists, noting their confident stage presence. She also referenced the play 'Humare Ram' staged at Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University the previous day, emphasizing the importance of character-building lessons from the Ramayana in contemporary society. Raveena Tandon confirms Aranyak Season 2 shelved, says script didn't work out
Actor Raveena Tandon has officially confirmed that 'Aranyak' Season 2 is not in development, putting an end to fans' hopes for a continuation of the popular thriller series.
