'GTA 6 Online can't be like this': Reddit post sparks fan uproar over Rockstar's DLC updates; thread goes viral

GTA 6, or Grand Theft Auto VI, is the highly anticipated game of the year. And finally, after a year, Rockstar Games has released trailer 2 of the game, which has now become one of the biggest video launches of all time, garnering more than 475 million views in just 24 hours across all platforms. Amid the wait for the game to release, GTA 6 is set to include a revamped version of GTA: Online, but it seems it didn't sit well with fans. According to Gaming Bible, Rockstar Games hasn't revealed the details yet, but fans are already speculating about what to expect. A Reddit post shared by user @Sufficient-Trash-807 is captioned the post with a title, "GTA6 online cannot be like this. Things must change, "which has now garnered the massive attention of fans. Reddit user expresses frustration with GTA Online The Reddit post talks about GTA Online's recent DLC updates, criticising them as repetitive, low-paying and uninspired. The player also pointed out that new businesses offer poor returns, like a money laundering operation dropping from $70K to $35K per run, and highlighted how new features, such as car warehouses and locations like Smoke on the Water, provide minimal profit. Additionally, the mission playouts are seen as underwhelming with small bonuses that barely make a difference. Fans react to GTA Online's DLC updates As soon as the post surfaced on the social media platform, fans couldn't stop themselves and discussed the same. One said, "It's literally in-game inflation. When they designed GTAO, it did not have all these mechanics, and they had to increase the value of things to make money less valuable. Hopefully a full reset of the economy will remedy things." "I'm willing to bet that GTA 6 will have a busted online economy day one. RDR2 had the same problem. They've had their taste of Shark Card money or otherwise, and they won't turn back on it," another added. While one said, "RDR2 HAD the same problem. It's fixed now; sadly that resulted in people not needing to buy Gold Bars, and thus Rockstar didn't earn any money from RDR2 Online. This is factually the One and Only reason support for RDR2 was discontinued." To stay updated on the stories that are going viral, follow Indiatimes Trending.

Leaked GTA Online zombie mode set on Cayo Perico could be Rockstar's wildest yet

Via Lucas7yoshi's X Dataminers have unearthed exciting new details about GTA Online's upcoming Halloween event, revealing a brand-new zombie survival mode set on the tropical island of Cayo Perico. The mode was discovered in the files of the recent 'Money Fronts' update and appears to be Rockstar's most ambitious Halloween content to date. From new enemy types to multiple map stages, this leak has fans buzzing. Zombie mode leak teases multi-stage survival chaos on Cayo Perico According to reliable dataminer @Lucas7yoshi_RS , this new event will take place entirely on Cayo Perico, first introduced in GTA Online's 2020 heist update. The leaked zombie mode features a multi-stage format starting at the heavily guarded compound. Players must fight through waves of undead, moving from one location to another including the Main Dock, West Beach, and North Dock. Four new enemy types are expected, with names like 'The Splitter' and 'The Conquistador' , the latter being a skeletal zombie that is said to be immune to bullets and explosives. The final section of the survival mode features an undead version of Gustavo, the panther trainer, who summons zombie panthers to protect the North Dock. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với mức chênh lệch giá thấp nhất IC Markets Đăng ký Undo Once players clear all stages, they'll have the option to either escape via the Velum aircraft or stay behind and take on endless waves of zombies at one of four key locations. New NPCs, props, and escape options discovered in update files Dataminer @evan_tgp also uncovered a variety of props and assets tied to the event, including damaged vehicles and eerie environmental elements scattered across the island. Five distinct zombie models were revealed, featuring infected festival goers, island locals, and more. A zombie DJ was also found in the files, sparking speculation that Rockstar may incorporate some light-hearted or humorous elements during the chaos. This isn't Rockstar's first foray into spooky seasonal content, last year's North Yankton Halloween event was a hit, but the scale and structure of this new mode suggest a major leap in ambition. The combination of fresh mechanics, detailed enemy design, and an iconic location could make it the most memorable Halloween event yet. If the leaks are accurate, GTA Online's 2025 Halloween event is shaping up to be something truly special. A full-on zombie invasion on Cayo Perico with boss fights, endless waves, and immersive progression? Rockstar might just be delivering its wildest seasonal update so far. "Ah shit, here we go again": The story behind GTA's most famous quote

Source: Rockstar Games Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas released in 2004, and few one-liners have held up so well as CJ's exhausted, "Ah shit, here we go again." What started out as a quote in an opening cutscene soon grew to be a cultural touchstone, taking over memes, social media, and even celebrity endeavors. Let's break down why the generic phrase came to be the internet's boilerplate expression for dealing with yet another headache. Why "Ah shit, here we go again" is GTA's greatest meme line Right at the beginning of San Andreas, CJ returns to Los Santos, to be instantly dumped right back into gangland theatrics. After being hassled, he lets out a deep breath, "Ah shit, here we go again" and we're with him. That one line exactly sums dread and resignation. Even though the game came out in 2004, it wasn't until a 2015 YouTube upload by ZMOONCHILD that the meme began gaining traction online. Jump forward to April 2019: green-screened versions of CJ walking into any situation went viral. One tweet from @ChaoticGeekCG gained thousands of retweets, giving birth to infinite mashups, from Kratos falling into battles to humorous TikToks. Today, the meme runs through subreddits, Instagram reels, and TikTok in fashion, solidly established as pop culture shorthand for, "Brace yourself, trouble's here." How the meme entered mainstream culture and why it endures The appeal San Andreas retains today revolves around its quotable lines and raw yet humorous tone. "Ah shit, here we go again" encapsulates that daily fatigue everyone is familiar with: waking up on Monday, handling drama, or watching a clichéd TV cliche for the umpteenth time. The tone of the meme makes it ideal for innumerable settings and that's why celebrities and even musicians have jumped on the bandwagon through collaborations, remixes, and viral content. Even mainstream outlets such as the Daily Dot feature it as the definitive meme for frustration and burnout. Ah shit here we go again meme compilation From a gritty cutscene in 2004 to TikTok gold gone viral in 2025, CJ's timelessness line demonstrates the strength of simplicity. In fewer than five words, "Ah shit, here we go again" evokes universal sentiments of fear, boredom, and irony. It's not only a meme, it's a mood. And as long as life is going to throw curveballs, CJ's sigh of weariness will remain our anthem.
