DAVID COOTE has been hit with two FA charges for his rant about Jurgen Klopp.
The shamed referee has been accused of an aggravated breach of FA rules following an infamous video showing him hitting out at the ex-Liverpool manager.

In the viral video, he referred to
Liverpool
as "s***" and extraordinarily dropped the C-bomb to describe ex-Reds boss Klopp.
Coote said: "Liverpool were s*** . Klopp is an absolute c***.
"Aside from having a right pop at me when I was refereeing them against Burnley in lockdown, he accused me of lying and then had a right f***ing pop of me.
"I have no interest in speaking to someone who is f***ing arrogant. So I do my best not to speak to him. James Milner is all right, I get on with him.

"You can see me there with a 'mask' on. But, my god, German c***, f*** me."
Coote was handed a 16-month ban by Uefa for the video, as well another Sun clip which showed him take cocaine.
And now, the FA have issued a statement confirming that the shamed ref has been hit with two charges for his Klopp rant.
It read: 'David Coote has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E3 in relation to comments that he made about Jurgen Klopp in a video recorded around July 2020 which appeared on social media in November 2024.

Ireland legend Brian O'Driscoll has revealed all when it came to the viral clip that appeared to show Michael Cheika lambast the former centre. Ex-Leinster boss Cheika is now in charge of the Leicester Tigers and appeared to be on the war path during the Premiership final between the side and Bath. After that was cleared up, O'Driscoll further explained what happened, and revealed all about a text message he received from Cheika after the game. Speaking on Off The Ball, he said: "It was a sunny day, I was entitled to have my shades on and next thing, Cheiks comes running down from the box and there's a bad call on Montoya who got penalised for hands in the ruck and it looked as though it was a perfectly good poach. 'Anyway, Chieks was kind of pulling some of his staff away from talking to the fourth official, but making a point of pulling him away, saying to 'ignore them, they're useless', blah blah. 'He was kind of roaming around, and then another one of his staff was standing behind me ,and he came over and started giving out about the referee to him, but it almost looked as though it was to me as well. 'It was like I haven't done anything'and I could see the camera panning to us and I didn't know it was on us for as long as it was, but I just started laughing then.' "His wife sent it to him after the game and then he immediately sent it on to me, saying 'I'm glad we're still making memories out there, man'," Cheika coached O'Driscoll and Leinster to a Heineken Cup in 2009 as well as a Celtic League title (now the URC).

Conor McGregor linked with shock takeover bid of English football club
Conor McGregor has been linked with a takeover bid for English football club Hartlepool United. The club has been the subject of takeover rumours for many months with chairman and owner Raj Singh reportedly looking to sell the club. A consortium named the Herd International Group has emerged as front runners to take over the National League side, and there has speculation that Irish MMA star McGregor could be involved in the takeover, speculation which was intensified when the Dubliner followed the club on social media. One to often flaunt his wealth, the ex-UFC champion has spoken in the past of his desire to become more involved in football, even going as far as to suggest that he would be interested in investing in clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United and Celtic. Earlier this year, he teased purchasing two League of Ireland clubs amid a public spat with Drogheda United, who distanced themselves from McGregor when he posed with the FAI Cup at his Dublin pub. In what appears to be a response to the speculation surrounding McGregor's potential involvement, the Herd International Group have issued a statement revealing that they have turned down the opportunity to 'involve a high-profile individual whose values and public behaviour we believe do not align with the spirit of Hartlepool United Football Club.'
